Anthony tensed. He refused to allow Anne to risk her own life and the only feasible solution. was to

destroy Tianya completely.

“Put a tracker on me and keep a bodyguard nearby to watch over me. Once I'm gone, your need to

wreak havoc looking for me,” Anne said, “let them know that you are unaware of my plan. Even if

you manage to destroy the organization, you still have to find the person. behind it.”

“No!” Anthony roared coldly.

“Anthony, you are underestimating me. I managed to survive that island and I'm an excellent

assassin. For the kids’ sake and for a better life, we need to take certain risks..."

“This is non-negotiable.” He walked over to the window in rage, not intending to consider Anne's

plan at all.

Anne meant most to him, not even the triplets were as important to him, so Lucia was far beyond

his concern.

Anne stood behind him hesitantly. “I promise that I won't get hurt.”

“You can't know that,” he said hoarsely, “the culprit is right here in Luton.”

"Which is why we can only do as he says for the time being,” she said.

Anthony tensed and turned to stare at Anne expressionlessly. “I choose to give up on that

woman.”

“I am not about to risk your life for hers,” he said mercilessly.

Anne was not pleased to learn how important she was to Anthony, knowing that she could. not

gamble with Lucia's life.

Tianya had a cruel way of dealing with their prisoner. They would torture Lucia in every possible way

until she bleed out.

Lucia had not done anything wrong and Anthony was the reason why she was kidnapped in the first

place, which meant that he needed to bear the responsibility for it.

Anthony's shadow loomed over her as he wrapped his arms around her body, his eyes filled with

viciousness. “Don’t think about it. I won't agree to it.”

Knowing that arguing further would not help, she buried her face into his chest while trying to find

a different approach.

She had twenty-four hours left.

The night passed and instead of heading to Archduke Group, Anhtony remained in the

Royal Mansion to work.

Anne could sense that Anthony was trying to prevent her from running. She knew that he had been

monitoring her phone calls as well, or he would not have been able to appear in time when she

received the call from the leader of Tianya.

Anne sat in the balcony dazedly when she heard footsteps approaching. “Do you want to pick the

kids up together?”

“It's still too early for that, right?” Anne said, since it had only been an hour since lunch.

"We can walk around before heading over to pick them up.” He wrapped his arm around her waist

and pulled her down to his lap.

Anne looked up and stared at him seductively.

They had only slept next to one another the night before and had not done anything beyond that.

“Isn't it dangerous to go outside now?” She asked.

They were so close that he could practically taste her as she spoke. He took in her sweet scent and

stared at her lips, before swallowing hard.
