Chapter 292
Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies
Chapter 292
Bianca went to the Archduke Group In the evening, and Anthony was nowhere to be found because
there was a meeting.
She went into his office alone.
Every time she entered his office, she would be overwhelmed by the joy and pride of being powerful
and no one could take that glory from her, nor could anyone replace her in Anthony's heart,
including Anne.
She circled back to stand behind the desk and though the screen was pitch black, the computer
seemed to be on.
Wondering if she would find Archduke Group's action plan, she turned on the monitor and the
screen lit up, only to find surveillance feed from nine different cameras.
'Why would this be in Anthony's office? She thought, âIsn't there a specific department to manage
the surveillance cameras in the building? He shouldn't be paying attention to this considering how
busy he is."
In the midst of her confusion, she realized something odd in the footage.
'Why is Tommy there?â She wondered.
Shortly after, she spotted a few employees she had seen before, as she had filmed a commercial in
Marwood Group before.
Just then, she spotted a familiar figure.
Bianca could not believe her eyes and leaned closer to the monitor, before gritting her teeth and
widening her eyes in rage.
'Anne Vallois!" She thought, âSo he is monitoring the Marwood Group because of her?â
Bianca barked an enraged laughter at how ridiculous the thought.
was.
âWhat spell did Anne put him under for this to show up in his office? Why does she have to keep
haunting us?' She thought.
Bianca left the office and reached the underground parking lot with the elevator, her anger boiling
within her as she went into her car.
She desperately wanted to kill Anne right then and there. If she allowed Anne to leave Luton, how
would she ever know if Anne lured Anthony to a different city only to mess around.
There were always men who took opportunities to cheat no matter what a decent husband they
presented themselves to be, and Bianca would not tolerate that to happen.
It would be far easier to control Anne when she was in the same city.
âLet's see how far this infertile woman can get!" She thought viciously.
Anne had wanted to rest at home, but Tommy had called her back to the office.
She did not want to go, but it would be worse to have Tommy at her door if she refused.
She stood inside the office and looked at Tommy's expressionlessly. "What do you need me for, Mr.
Marwood?"
He leaned back against the edge of the desk and crossed his legs and arms as he scanned Anne up
and down. "Why did you apply for leave?"
"I'm sick," she said.
He continued to stare at her. "Why?"
Anne grew wary and thought to herself, "is this why he called me . back? To ask about this? Does he
know and is purposely getting me to say it, or does he not know what happened?â
It was not hard for Tommy to conduct his own investigation, and there was no reason why he would
not be informed on what happened
Anne sneered, "Someone bribed the doctor who performed the abortion surgery for me the last
time, so I was still pregnant.
Anthony kicked me hard on the stomach a week ago, causing hemorrhage and serious damage
inside my uterus, so I can no longer get pregnant ever again.â
His expression darkened as he narrowed his eyes. "Who did it?"
"Michelle came forward and said that she's the one who bribed the doctor because she didn't want
Anthony's child to die, but who knows? There's no proof so anyone can come forward and say they
did it. There has to be a scapegoat, right?" She tilted her head. "Are you concerned for me? Aren't
you one of the reasons why this has happened as well?"
âWho cares about you?" He scowled. "I did force you to stay, but it doesn't mean anyone gets to bully you without my
permission.â
âSorry to disappoint. I didn't persist and got myself in a worse state," she said sarcastically. âTommy Marwood, you
would let me leave if there's the slightest trace of humanity left in you.â
âNo traveling outside of this country.â
She paused for a moment, and thought, âis that a yes? That's not what I imagined!â
Having a hard time believing how easily he compromised, she asked, "really?"
âThere's no fun if Anthony ends up killing you,â he said
mercilessly.
Anne's expression darkened, regretting that she had expected some decency from him.
