Chapter 565
Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies
Chapter 565
Anthony took out his phone. It was from Anne.
He pressed the decline button right away, then put his phone on silent mode and passed it to
Hayden, who was standing not too far away.
Hayden then placed his phone back on the table in the living room.
Charlie's big eyes were full of confusion, isn't that from Mama?"
"Work," Anthony said.
Anne felt that this was a bad sign for her first phone call to be declined. She called a second time,
and there was no response. She knew that she had been ignored.
What should she do? She would not have to go to his place, would she?
She knew that it would not be helpful for her to keep calling him.
The kids washed up and were about to go to bed. They were wearing mini bathrobes, looking extra
adorable.
Anthony stood by the bedside and watched them fall asleep before leaving.
He went downstairs to study. The bodyguards were already waiting.
"So this is what you have found?" Anthony's tone was cold. His aura was intimidating.
The bodyguard was not even brave enough to lift his gaze up. He replied, 'l have checked
thoroughly, including Ms. Vallois's record of delivering the baby overseas, and that the triplets
returned to Luton. I also asked Mr. Marwood myself the other day. Even though Mr. Marwood was
extraordinarily calm, I did not think too much about it..."
Anthony's face was grim. The bodyguard did not dare to say anything more. "Are the documents on
my table?â
"Yes, I left them on your table and left," The bodyguard said.
Anthony took out his phone and called Oliver to check who had entered his office that day.
After a few minutes, Oliver found out about it.
It was Bianca.
"Donât need to investigate Bianca. Send the mother and son to jail!" Anthony tossed his phone onto
the table. His face was ruthless.
Oliver understood the instruction. "Yes, sir."
It was a difficult night for Anne.
When Kathryn came over the next morning, she asked, "Did you not have a good sleep?â
'When can I be discharged?â Anne asked.
"Don't worry. It depends on your condition. You are stable now, but I am afraid of unforeseen
circumstances, just like last time. So, it is better for you to recover for a few more days in the
hospital.â
"I will be careful. The same thing will not happen again,â Anne promised.
"Is there anything urgent?â Kathryn asked.
Anne was treated luxuriously in the hospital. She had the best and top class of everything there. It
was impossible for her to feel uncomfortable. Therefore she would not be desperately leaving the
hospital unless something was up.
Anne paused and said, 'l do have something to attend to."
'If the matter will hurt you, I suggest that you only attend to it after you recover. Or, are you looking
for Mr. Marwood?" Kathryn said.
Anne sighed and answered, "Yes, I wanted to see him."
"Perhaps I can call him to ask him to come over here?"
Anne suddenly had an idea. She could feign illness and get Anthony here. It would be the same,
wouldn't it?
She then said, "No need, don't call him. It is my personal matter. I will rest and recover quietly. I will
not ask to be discharged again.â
Kathryn did not say anything, performed an examination then left. 1
Anne was still pondering when would be the best time for her to feign illness. When she was thinking
about it, someone knocked on the door. Nigel entered, and most importantly, Bianca followed
"Dad," Anne called him but merely took a brief glance at Bianca,
Nigel asked, "How are you feeling? Bianca said that you vomited blood after she visited the other day, and
she felt bad about it and wanted to tag along to pay you another visit.â
Anne said, "No worries, I fell down on my own. It is irrelevant to her."
"Right, I was just saying how you would be so weak and vomit blood after a short chat. I was feeling so
guilty about it!" Bianca was secretly being sarcastic.
âNow you look better, do be careful.â Nigel reminded her.
âI will."
âWhere is the nurse?â Nigel asked.
