Chapter 593

"Alright. I can't argue with you. I'll leave.” Damian walked towards the door and left.

Anne walked out of the room when she heard the main door closing.

"Did you hear my dad? He said you're a monster,” Tommy teased.

"Yeah, so keep a distance from me. Don't give me any chance to seduce you, too," she said

impatiently.

"How far?" Tommy approached her.

Anne watched him warily and backed away at the proximity until her back was against the wall. She

tensed and held out her arms to stop him, but he proceeded to grab her by the wrists.

He bent down and Anne was startled into screaming, “Tommy Marwood, don't you dare!”

He stopped with his face a few centimeters away from hers and asked, * How's this for distance?"

He could just kiss her if he moved any closer.

She tilted her face to the side with a scowl. "I'm going home. Let go..." She escaped him and pulled

her arms away in frustration. "What's wrong with you?"

"Keeping a distance from you."

She shot him a confused look and said, "Seeing that dinner is almost finished, I'm leaving."

"I'll send you."

"It's fine." She opened the door and walked out.

She slammed the door shut with a loud “thud’ and Tommy rubbed his lips, regretting that he did not

kiss her to ease the urge burning within him.

Anne had been in Tommy's apartment before and knew her way. She took the elevator down and

walked through the condominium gate.

The car window in the distance rolled down and Damian poked his head out. He stared at the slim

figure before him in disbelief and gritted out, * Anne Vallois!"

He had suspected someone was inside the room and waited outside, but he had not expected to

see Anne.

“She's already given birth to three children for Anthony and she’s still not satisfied? She is here to

seduce my son! Damn it!" He thought.

Anne caught a taxi and went home, feeling upset with having to spend the money. However, she

was more reluctant to let Tommy send her back, as she had a feeling that Tommy's attitude toward

her had changed.

It almost felt as though he was trying to get closer and she instinctively rejected the possibility of

Tommy developing an interest toward her.

Tommy had Lilian with him, so he probably would not be interested in anyone, so perhaps he simply

enjoyed teasing Anne.

Back to her room in the apartment, Anne sat down on the bed and grabbed her phone to check the

time before heading into the shower.

The screen lit up and she saw a text message.

She widened her eyes and jumped onto her feet when she noticed that it was a message from Anthony.

“Anthony... contacted me?’ She thought and her heart raced as she read through the message, which

contained nothing but a restaurant's address

She instantly realized what he meant and when she checked the time, the message was received two hours

ago.

“Are they still there?" She thought and ran outside the apartment, almost stumbling as she hurried down

the stairs.

She grabbed onto the handrail and paled in fear.

When she finally was outside the building, she caught a taxi and headed to the address Anthony had sent

to her.
