Anne wanted to take them with her, but also knew that it was not realistic for her to do so.

Anthony stood by the side wordlessly, his intimidating presence enough to explain his stance.

“It's nice here! You can live with Papa. You always ask about your Papa before, right? Isn't it nice to

find him?” Anne asked.

“Mama, are you mad at us for sneaking out to see Papa?” Chloe asked.

“No, why would I be? Mama is happy for you. You are all so great to have found him!" Anne

complimented them so that they would not feel burdened, since they were more mature than most

of their age. Seeing how they remained silent, she added, “Stay here. I will come over if you miss

me. You can always call me, right?”

“You will come here if we call?” Charlie asked.

“I will.” Anne nodded.

The triplets seemed confused with the living arrangement, they could not understand why their

parents could not live together, and why their father was marrying another woman whom they

hated.

Anthony interrupted them. “It's time for lunch.”

Anne turned to look at Anthony and he simply said, “Do you want to upset them?”

Naturally, that was the last thing she wanted, so she accompanied the triplets to the dining room.

The children were overjoyed, because both their parents were here with them.

“Mama, we will be good, but you have to come here whenever we call!” Charlie commanded

innocently.

Anne studied Anthony's face and saw no change to his expression, so she said, “You can't call me

every day. I still need to work.”

"We will only call from time to time!” Chloe said with a spoon in her hand.

Anne chuckled, “Sure.”

After lunch, they stayed in the living room for a while until it was time for Anthony to head to the

Archduke Group.

He glanced at Anne, who was chatting with her children and noticed that his children had

completely forgotten about him since their mother was around. He stood and said, “I'm heading to

work now.”

“Mama doesn't need to go!” Charlie immediately reacted.

Chris went to hold onto Anne's leg, while Chloe wrapped her arms around Anne's neck.

"What did I just say, hm? You have to be good. I will come by again in a few days, okay?”

“How many days?” Charlie asked.

“Two days?” Anne suggested

“One!” Chloe showed her one finger.

Anne thought about it and said, “I will drop by tomorrow for a short while, then.”

"Yay!"

After settling the triplets down, she went into Anthony's Rolls Loyce.

He sat in the backseat confidently and said, “One day? Do you plan on coming here every day?”

“I figure I can come by more frequently at first, since they are having a hard time adjusting. I can

make a few runs. They are just two. Don't be too harsh on them,” Anne said gently.

“You should know that the more frequently you visit, the more likely this will upset Bianca.”

Anne bit on her lip and nodded. “I will only stay for a short while even if I come by. I just missed

them too much and stayed for longer than I should have last night. It won't happen again.”

Anthony tugged at his collar in frustration without a word.
