Bianca's car drove to the Royal Mansion. As soon as she saw Hayden, she asked, “Where is

Anthony?”

Hayden was stunned. “Mr. Marwood is yet to return.”

“Yet to return?” Bianca could not believe it. Could Anthony really be at the office? Without further

ado, she turned back to her car, slammed on the accelerator, and sped away.

No matter where Anthony was, she was determined to find him.

She sat in the car and called Anthony. She also called Oliver, but no one answered her call.

Anthony was obviously drugged, but why did he not want to get close to her? Where exactly was

he?

As soon as Anne and Corentin were back at Corentin’s residence, they headed back to the room.

The butler came and informed, “Mr. Lloyd, Ms. Thompson has gone back to the hotel.”

Corentin briefly lifted his chin and looked to the second floor. His tongue stuck into his right cheek,

and he said, “Got it."

When Anne got back to her room, she took a shower and called Ashlynn.

She thought Ashlynn was staying in another room, only to find out that she had returned to the

hotel through the phone call.

"Didn“t you say that you were staying at the mansion? Why did you go back? There are plenty of

rooms here, just accompany me here. Plus, my uncle does not mind it at all,” Anne said.

“I just don't feel good about troubling him. That's why I left,” Ashlynn said.

“Sure, then you go to bed earlier. If there is nothing else in the morning, we will go back to Luton

tomorrow,” Anne said.

"Sure, you too. Rest early.”

After hanging up, Anne looked at the time. She thought it was not a good time to call her mother

anymore. She probably had already gone to bed by now.

After all, she will be back by tomorrow.

She lay in bed and replayed the scene of meeting Cory in her head. She could tell that Cory was the

kind of person who prioritized his work and career more than anything.

That was why she felt that her father's departure from the family had not affected Cory.

Plus, he had a rather capable younger son.

There was someone to inherit the Lloyd family, so he did not care much about his eldest son.

Anne tossed around in bed. She could not process what was going on between her father and Cory.

She had a hunch that they were hiding something from her.
