Chapter 890

Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies

Chapter 890

Ashlynn could not fight and simply let him do as he pleased.

Losing control of her body, she followed Corentin from the car to their room. By the time she woke

up the next morning, she woke up to the memories of what happened the night before and felt

ashamed, but she did not regret drinking or going to the bar. Had she not gone, she would, have

never realized that Paul and the others were there.

"Woof!"

She turned around and saw her dog curling into a ball on the carpet, its tail wiggling cheerfully

when it met her eyes.

“I will pick you up later.” She needed to clean up.

In the afternoon, she had nothing to do and took her dog for a walk.

To her surprise, she ran into Meredith in front of a luxury brand boutique.

Meredith seemed surprised to see her as well, as she had merely come out to shop with her friends.

“Are you here to shop for clothes as well?” Meredith scanned Ashlynn up and down, noticing all the

luxury brands on her body, the shoes Ashlynn was wearing were limited editions and there were

only a few pairs for sales all around the world.

However, according to Meredith's research, Ashlynn was born and raised in a slum and could not

possibly afford all these, so it was only natural to assume that Corentin was the one who bought

everything for her.

“No. I just happen to be in the area,” Ashlynn said.

"Hey, who's this? Meredith, I've never seen this friend of yours. Are you going to introduce us?”

Meredith's friend instantly noticed Ashlynn’s elegant demeanor and expensive outfit.

"She's just a new friend, so I didn't think I needed to introduce her. We have a gathering tonight, so

why don’t you join us, Ashlynn?” Meredith said.

“Yeah. It's Meredith's birthday. You have to be there as a friend!”

Seeing the hesitation on Ashlynn’s expression, Meredith asked, “You can’t be considering turning

me down, can you?”

Meredith's friend chuckled, “No one would dare to turn you down.”

“I'll go,” Ashlynn said.

Once Meredith provided the venue, she left with her friends.

Ashlynn knew that Meredith and her friends belonged to the same class and she was no one

compared to them, which was why she did not wish to openly cross Meredith. It was just a birthday

party, after all.

She checked the time and went on to purchase a gift, as she could not participate in a birthday

party empty- handed.

After purchasing the gift, she called Corentin and said, I'm not going back for dinner. Meredith

invited me to join her birthday party and I said yes.”

“Should I send a car over?” He asked

“No. I'm already out. I will just head there directly.”

"Don't stay out too late.”

“Il know."

Ashlynn arrived on the second floor of the hotel and

tl

noticed that the whole floor had been reserved.

As soon as she stepped through the door, she was instantly drawn by the sophisticated interior.

There were men and women dressed in extravagant outfits and when she spotted Meredith chatting

with her friends by the window with a glass of champagne in her hand, Ashlynn walked over and

presented her gift. “Ms. Hilton, Happy Birthday. Here's a little gift.”

Meredith accepted the small box and opened it to find a bracelet. As a high-born lady who was

used to luxury products, she could tell the price of accessories right away and exclaimed, “You are

buying me this masstige for my birthday?”

“It's not a masstige. It's mid-range, I think,” Ashlynn explained.

“Mid-range products are just as bad as masstige,” Meredith spat in contempt.

When Meredith's friend noticed that Ashlynn referred to Meredith as “Ms. Hilton’, they instantly

came to a realization that Ashlynn was not a friend and began to confront Ashlynn. “You don't look

like you can't afford luxury based on what you are wearing. Did you buy this kind of trash for

Meredith to embarrass her?”

“It's not her fault,” Meredith said with resignation. “She comes from a slum.”

Her friends gaped and covered their mouths in shock.

“Seriously? The slum?”

“Ew, that's so disgusting. Why did they let this kind of person in here...”

Everyone began whispering to one another without hiding their contempt for Ashlynn.

Ashlynn could not understand what was there to be surprised about to learn that she came from a

slum. All things aside, her gift was hardly a masstige when it cost hundreds. She had not even

bought something this expensive for herself in the past.

"You can have it back. It's filthy.” Meredith tossed the bracelet onto the ground.

Ashlynn picked it up calmly and said, “Do you really think that I can't buy expensive gifts as

Corentin’s woman? I just thought that this looks nice and bought it for you. After all, things that are

expensive aren't always the prettiest. If you don't appreciate it, then just forget it.

I

She met Meredith's eyes bravely and refused to step down.

“What did you just say? You are Corentin’s woman? My god, did I hear that correctly?”

“What a joke! You should at least try to be convincing if you want to lie.”

“Meredith, I guess she is trying to take your man!”

“As if she has what it takes!” Meredith said. “Corentin, couldn't possibly be interested in a woman

who comes from the slum. I can tell that all the clothes on her are fake and she’s just here

pretending to be someone that she’s not!"

"Hey, isn't that Corentin?” Someone looked over at the entrance.

Ashlynn turned around and spotted the familiar towering figure walking toward them, his majestic

demeanor attracting the eyes of all women in the hall.
