Chapter 344
Hold My Tear, I’m Getting My Wife Back! ( Leanne Castillo )
Chapter 344
Gradually, the intensity changed, and even the kiss seemed different.
Curtis pulled her warm, soft body in his arms closer, their body heat mingling through the layers of fabric. His tongue pried open her lips, invading her mouth.
Leanne felt like a lamb waiting for slaughter, weakened by his kiss, her lips and teeth emitting intermittent moans.
Those faint sounds were like the tender paws of a kitten, scratching at the inflamed nerves of Curtis.
âDoing that on purpose? Sounds pretty enticing,â he murmured as he released her lips, his hot breath trailing down her delicate neck, tasting her collarbone and the creamy smoothness of her shoulder, while his rough palm wandered elsewhere.
A tingling sensation spread from behind her ear down her spine. Leanne bit her lower lip, trying to suppress the sounds that kept slipping out.
She felt like she was drowning in warm water, gasping for air. As Curtisâ hand slid lower, she suddenly snapped back to reality and held his wrist, âYou said we wouldnât go that
Curtis, his voice hoarse and tight as if scraped with sandpaper, wasnât planning to be a gentleman of his word. He coaxed her, âI said I wouldnât devour you. How about you
I devour me instead?â
âYou wish!â Leanne pushed his hand away.
âReally not into it?â His voice was taunting, âPlaying hardball, Dr. Castillo?â
Leanneâs cheeks burned as she pushed him away and rolled to the edge of the bed, wrapping herself tightly in the duvet and turning her back to him.
Curtis sighed softly and pulled her, along with the duvet, back into his embrace. âAlright, I admit my fault. Iâm a scoundrel. Donât be mad, honey.â
âIâm not mad,â Leanne mumbled.
She was too embarrassed by his actions, feeling a slight, indescribable discomfort in her heart.
It was like surviving a disaster, constantly anxious about it happening again.
What if this overwhelming happiness was just an illusion, quick to arrive and quick to vanish?
Curtis held her, soothing her, âLetâs sleep. I wonât do anything.â
The urge and heat in his blood were not easily quelled, but he restrained himself, patiently

patting the duvet to lull her to sleep.
The roomâs charged atmosphere gradually settled into tranquility, the rhythmic patting of the duvet offering a comforting reassurance.
After a while, the person in his arms spoke up, âDo you really want it?â
Was there even a question? A vigorous young man, holding his beloved who had come back to him, who melted under his touch and made such endearing sounds.
Curtis chuckled, âIâm twenty-eight, not eighty-two. If I had no desire for you, Iâd need to check in with a doctor.â
Leanne asked, âIsnât something easily obtained easily forsaken?â
It was like a needle buried in the heart, unexpectedly pricking you when you least expect it. The casual look on Curtisâ face slowly faded, his hand pausing.
A few seconds later, a kiss, full of apology, landed on Leanneâs hair.
âIâm sorry for not making you feel safe,â Curtis said earnestly and gently, âLeanne, I love you, all of you. I donât just want you for today, but for decades to come.â
âAre you afraid Iâll take you for granted if I get you too easily? Then Iâll let you make all the calls, okay?â
