Chapter 361
Hold My Tear, I’m Getting My Wife Back! ( Leanne Castillo )
Chapter 361
Violet slapped Carl across the face without warning, her tears streaming as she screamed, âHow could you ask the Richardsons for money?! They took her in out of kindness, and you have the nerve to beg them for cash, Carl? You heartless bastard!â
âDamn it!â Carl, raising his arm as if to strike back, was interrupted by the screech of brakes from below, and a voice that shouted, âHurry, donât let him get away!â
Leanne recognized the gruff voice-it was the man in the jacket from yesterday.
Carl, more familiar with the voice, suddenly paled and rushed to look out the window.
A car was parked below, footsteps thundering up the stairs.
He turned, glaring menacingly at Leanne, âDid you bring them here?â
Leanne replied coolly, âI told you, someone else wants you more than I do.â
Enraged, Carl grabbed a tray from the coffee table and hurled it at her. Leanne dodged swiftly, the tray slamming against the wall and clattering to the floor.
Now cornered in his own home, Carl, furious and irrational, clenched his fists and
charged, âIâm going to kill you!â
Leanne backed away, and her petite aunt suddenly burst forth, stepping in front of her and shoving Carl hard.
âEnough! Who are you trying to kill? Come at me first if you dare!â
âYou think I wonât?â
Violet dashed into the kitchen, came out wielding a kitchen knife, and yelled, âCome on then! Iâve had enough of you!â
Carl was momentarily stunned, his anger boiling over, âHave you lost your mind, woman? What are you doing with that knife?â
âI must be crazy! I should have gone mad sooner! How could I have been so blind to marry you?â Violetâs hand trembled with the knife, âYour gambling ruined us, you even secretly abandoned Leanne. How could there be someone as terrible as you in this world? If not for
you,
I wouldnât have been too ashamed to visit my sisterâs grave, fearing her blame even in death!â
âStop your nonsense!â Carl was still in denial, âIf not for trying to provide for you, would i have gambled away everything? Marrying you was my lifeâs curse!â
He lunged for the knife. Despite Violetâs resistance, she was no match for him and was quickly thrown against the coffee table.
Carl tossed the knife aside and landed a slap across her face, âYou bring out a knife to

threaten me? Why didnât you use it? Bitch,Iâll kill you!â
After several more blows, Violetâs face swelled up rapidly. Carl then kicked her in the stomach, âYouâve ruined my life!â
As he raised his foot for another kick, there was a loud thud-Carl clutched the back of his
head, glaring venomously.
âIâll kill you today!â he shouted, but his body swayed and he collapsed to the floor.
Leanne stood in the center of the living room, holding a heavy glass vase, stunned.
The man in the jacket and his men, panting from the sprint up five floors, entered to find. this scene.
Two people lying on the floor, one unconscious, the otherâs face swollen from beating.
The seemingly frail young woman stood there with a vase, looking innocently at them.
The trio was momentarily stunned.
At the Ashton District Police Station.
As dusk fell, the lights were still on at the front desk. A Rolls-Royce Phantom, both understated and ostentatious, approached the entrance.
The young auxiliary police officer walked over to knock on the window, just as two uniformed figures quickly emerged from the station.
