The Scaled Beauty
A A L T O N
After the relentless storm from last night, everything is serene now. Pretty shells were washed up by the shore, covered underneath the white sands.
The waves were calm, and the sky was no longer gray. The scorching Jamaican heat bathed me in.
I smiled slightly as I closed my eyes and relished the warmth.
Walking over to where I left my boat, I saw that it was tipped over due to the storm from yesterday. Fishing nets were scattered around.
And while I was about to pick the nets up, I realized that they were... moving?
I blinked one time, and blinked again to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me.
There lies a young man with pale skin. His long platinum locks covered half of his face as he continued to wither and struggle to be freed.
Taking a step forward, he noticed me and hissed.
I immediately raised my hands up, showing him I'm no threat. "Back down, boy. I will help you"
At the mention of the word, he stopped his hostile approach. Yet, he still watched me with wary eyes.
Untangling him from the fishing nets, I was surprised to see blood. I was even more surprised with the fact that some parts of his exposed legs were covered with blue green scales.
I try hard not to let my eyes wander above his thighs, but I couldn't help it.
Heh, cute.
Without saying a word, I picked him up.
He thrashed on my arms and growled at me. One of his hands came up and slashed my chest, making it ooze with blood.
Damn, that hurt.
I ignored the stinging pain and brought him to my cabin.
Settling him down on the sofa, I glanced at him. He was staring at me with sharp eyes and had a scowl on his face.
Is he trying to be scary? Adorable.
