10. New Target?
Fractured Crowns
Happy Monday!!

Divya, Amrita, and Ananya were gathered at the café where they'd shared countless memories, laughs, and plans.
They had all received Ishika's urgent call, which meant it was something serious and mafia.
The girls waited for her, ready to hear what she had to say, their usual casual demeanor replaced by a sense of focus.
"Abey yaar! Kis tharki ne ab galti kar di?! It's my wedding week, da!" Ananya joked with an exaggerated whine, trying to add a bit of humor to lighten the serious mood.
(Aw man! Which idiot has now done something wrong?)
"Have patience, Anu! Ishu will be here soon," Divya replied, her voice light, though she felt a similar frustration building up at whoever had become their latest target.
Moments later, Ishika entered the café with a determined expression.
Without saying a word, she strode over to their table, dropping a file onto the surface with a small thud. She didn't sit immediately, standing and watching them as they opened the file, letting the details of the situation sink in.
Inside was a picture of a man, and beside it was a report outlining his crimes. The text was brief but horrifying.
Ishika spoke up, her tone sharp, "This guy has been ruining the lives of innocent girls.
He's been in Mumbai for only a week, but in just a few days, he's already destroyed six lives."
She sat and leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms as she watched their reactions.
Divya's expression darkened as she looked at the man's photo, her eyes filled with contempt. "He shouldn't be alive," she said coldly, her voice barely a whisper.
Ishika gave a small, satisfied smirk, appreciating the fiery resolve in Divya's eyes.
"Oh, he'll pay," Ananya added, cracking her knuckles, her playful demeanor replaced by a fierce determination.
Amrita, always the calmest among them, gazed intently at the photo. "I'll make sure his end isn't an easy one," she stated, her tone a dangerous calmness.
Divya put a gentle hand on Amrita's shoulder. "Calm down, Ritu. We'll handle this together, but let's plan this smartly."
Ishika nodded approvingly. "Divi, I'll need you to trace his exact location. Right now, we only have his recent sightings."
"Got it, Ishu," Divya replied, her mind already working on the tech she'd need to pull up his information.
After a brief pause, Ishika leaned forward with a mischievous grin. "Now, get ready for tomorrow's sangeet. We can't forget that we've got a double event tomorrow."
Ananya let out a delighted laugh, breaking the serious atmosphere. "And don't forget, the day after tomorrow, it's our pyari amma's wedding!"
(Pyari Amma - Lovely mom)
She winked teasingly at Ishika, her voice filled with warmth and affection. The girls burst into laughter as Ishika shook her head, trying to hide her smile.
"Anu, no matter what, you always find a way to tease us," Ishika laughed as she facepalmed herself, a genuine smile now on her face.
Amrita chuckled and added, "She's right, you never miss an opportunity."
"Oh please, look at you, hiding your face!" Ananya teased, grinning widely. "Feeling shy, Isha Ma?"
"Oh, stop it, yaar!" Ishika said, trying to wave off their laughter, but she couldn't help smiling.
They spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying their time together, savoring these last moments before the whirlwind of wedding celebrations took over.
They giggled, teased each other, and shared secrets, strengthening the bond they'd built over the years.
Their light-hearted laughs filled the cozy café, blending with the clinking of coffee cups and the quiet hum of conversations.
For a few hours, they let themselves be carefree, knowing that soon enough, they'd be taking on the world together, both as friends and, in their own way, as warriors for justice.
As the girls enjoyed their afternoon in the café, lost in teasing and laughter, the atmosphere was vibrant and relaxed-a rare moment amidst their otherwise intense lives.
But across town at the Raghuwanshi Empire, the soon-to-be-grooms found themselves entangled in their own blend of curiosity and excitement.
In Daksh's office, he sat staring at his phone screen, scrolling through Divya's Instagram page.
He found himself frowning as he realized there were very few photos of her.
Despite himself, he wanted to see more of her life-her smile, her friends, even the tiny details of her everyday world.
He hesitated, his fingers hovering over the 'Follow' button, battling his thoughts.
"Should I follow her? But what if she thinks I'm stalking her?" He muttered, growing more flustered with each passing moment.
Meanwhile, down the hall in Aaryansh's cabin, he was pacing impatiently, awaiting Rishi's arrival. When Rishi finally entered, Aaryansh didn't waste a second.
"Bhai! Mili kya?" he asked, his tone both anxious and hopeful.
(Bro! You got it?)
"Relax, Aarya! I've sent it to your phone," Rishi replied, unable to hold back a grin as he watched his friend's excitement.
Aaryansh grabbed his phone and eagerly opened his messages, finding a video clip Rishi had just sent.
It was a precious capture of Amrita, from the Ganesh Nimarjan -a video he'd seen only briefly on TV.
In the clip, Amrita's face glowed with joy as she danced, her laughter bright and infectious. Aaryansh couldn't help but smile, watching her carefree spirit that had captivated him from the start.
"Is it-" he began, but Rishi cut him off.
"It's deleted from the news channel and any other device. Only you have this clip," Rishi assured him.
Aaryansh's face lit up with gratitude. "Thank you, Rishi Bhai! You're the best!" He pulled Rishi into a quick hug, to which Rishi just chuckled, patting his back.
"Yeah, yeah, I know I'm the best. But don't tell Rudraksh I got you this. The last thing I need is him finding out I'm sneaking around for you!" Rishi joked, recalling how Rudraksh's stern stance on women would clash with his help.
Aaryansh laughed, nodding. "You have my word, Rishi Bhai!"
With a final smile, Rishi left, leaving Aaryansh to watch the clip once more.
As he looked at the screen, he imagined a future filled with moments like these, and a sense of contentment settled over him.
At that moment, all his worries felt distant, and he knew one thing for certain-Amrita was worth every bit of effort he was putting in, and more.
