Chapter 11 -11-

The Deadly Alpha

The moment we step foot into the training field next to the mansion, everyone stepped away to

provide space for the Alpha and bowed. I saw them training before in mornings, bright and early.

The Alpha pushed them overboard because he wanted to make sure they were one hundred

percent ready.

"Good morning, today is the official battle between us and Moonlight pack, they have been the

targeted enemy since the day they killed her. We will avenge and murder them all." He declared as

all the trainers saluted him and agreed in loud cheers.

The way his determined face was set on killing my ex-pack was a very tantalizing experience for me,

he never backed down, I badly wanted to know who Moonlight pack killed.

They continued to battle with swords and wolves, it was very hard concentrating at each member

because they were all as good and more, they had different styles of fighting without often shifting

or needing their wolves, it was more of a ninja meets Assassin Creed style. It was definitely a

diversity compared to my ex-pack, who depended too much on shifting.

"Stay here, I'm going to train, do not move,” I grunted in reply and the Alpha gave me a quick kiss,

running to meet his best warrior trainer. Even when I was outside, I get bossed by him.

"Hello, Luna." I turned to face the stranger with electrifying blue eyes and blonde hair, she was too

beautiful for her own good. She gave off that sexy mysterious vibe to her that every male seemed to

want as they glanced at her from time to time.

Woah there, we have a mate to focus on, not a girl. Lace reprimanded me and I rolled my eyes at

her.

"Hey, whoever you are.” I quizzically looked at her as she laughed and her eyes concentrated on

mine.

"I am the Alpha's sister, Crystal.” Oh. I never met his family because he probably didn't have the

time or maybe it was the arguments we always had. She somewhat looked like him with her eyes

and facial features.

"Nice," I replied, not sounding so interested. She smirked at me, yep, that was his sister alright with

his same smirk.

"Yeah, so you are avenging her too?" I quirked my eyebrow at her question, not knowing what she

talked about.

"My brother's first mate that rejected him and committed suicide by jumping out of the window."

My eyes widened, that was what he meant by "don't reject me like she did.” She thought that I knew

that and when I gazed at her in shock, she widened her eyes.

"Please tell me he told you, shit, he's going to kill me.” I didn’t know how to exactly feel about the

new information, at least I finally knew her so why was he defending Masa a lot?

"It's okay but what did he do for her to reject him?" I had way too much curious questions about his

life before me.

She flipped her hair to the side, the guys getting punched by the trainers because they gazed too

much at her beauty, she was distracting them by her looks.

"It was a pill. The Moonlight Alpha gave her a pill that made her go crazy to the point where nobody

knew until she died.” Wow. That was intense as it was, the Alpha thought I was to kill myself like she

did.

"So my ex-pack indirectly killed her, that's why they want revenge now?" She nodded and explained

further, her eyes intensely remembering the past trauma.

"Yes, you don't know how much my young brother suffered when she killed herself, I had to be an

Alpha until he got enough strength to continue for the sake of this pack. He sacrificed himself and

made the pack demented with more killings than the usual average packs. It got them scared right

off the hook and they never stepped one foot here. Sad, really, they killed her so he could get even

angrier and destruct them all. It backtracked.” She said in disdain about my ex-pack, she definitely

hated their guts.

"Can I ask a completely different question?” I nagged and she nodded again.

"Who's Masa? Why does he keep defending her?" I questioned.

"Masa has cancer, she had a brain tumor which turned to brain cancer, she was bullied by her pack

so we got her here and she was his first mate's twin sister,” That was why he got so defensive over

her. "In some of the twisted way, he used to like her because she reminded him of her sister so he

crowned her as a Luna because he never thought he could get a second chance mate.” She

concluded and I stood in silence, contemplating as to why Masa was a bitch to me.

"Why does the pack not accept me?" I pressured her more by another question, I just had to know

everything before I got in deeper into this mysterious pack.

She sighed. "Because they are hateful of what the Alpha used to torture them because of his first

mate so they think you're going to get brainwashed and dead and they'd have to face the aftermath

of his dark sadness.” She picked at her pink colored nails and rolled her eyes when a male blew her

a kiss.

"What's Alpha's name?" I wanted her to answer me and tell me but seemed like I pushed my lucky

buttons.

Arms wrapped around my waist and I knew him when I smelled that captivating scent of my mate, I

sighed in content at his touch since I didn't receive it too often and his head on my shoulder as he

learned since he was taller than me, his hair tickled my cheek.

"Snooping around me already?" He huskily asked and his sister laughed at my flushed face, he was

filled with sweat from the hour training. It was now noon with the sun blazingly winking at us from

up the stormy skies.

"Yes since you won't tell me anything.” I playfully chided him and he attached his lips to my cheek in

a wet clingy kiss, I threw my best-disgusted face at him as I wiped my cheek from his wolf saliva.

"Go shower, you stink." I insulted and his sister got bored from our “interaction’ and walked away

with a full army of men behind her with a lovesick expression, I would definitely hold her hostage

for story time later.

"No, I still have more training.” He groaned tiredly and I smirked up at his good mood. Finally, we

got to see the great glory of the Deadly Alpha without a scowl. He has been more laid off since that

confession night. My dreams stopped showing the little boy, I had deeper things to concentrate on

like the war and my family for now.

The trainer came up to us and signaled for me to start training with him when he finished with a

brunette girl who was freed and running in the victory.

It was time to unleash my great abilities.
