Chapter 2 -2-
The Deadly Alpha
He was a state of art; I saw him from afar the mansion getting out of his car with a grey suit on and
sunglasses. He was divine, just looking at him made my heartbeat speed up. The need to avenge my
mother and sister grew more than the grief that I had endured.
Alpha Raden ordered to keep me locked until the full moon made an appearance. Thoughts of what
would I do on my own other than stare at nothing left me agitated more. I never had any freedom,
mother told me I was no different than all of the girls my age. I had no knowledge of anything
around me for the Alpha left us all in the dark. Thankfully, I knew how to take a shower and do my
hair at least.
My white silky gown a pack member lent me was soft to my skin and made my breasts larger and
my bum too. The fabric was breathable and I wished I could have it but morals were morals and I
had to return it back tomorrow once Alpha decided what he would do with me. Something about
that Alpha irritated my curiousness. I had to know who was he. I was the type of girl who was strong
enough and independent. I didn't need a mate to complete me but I had to have one when I fully
shift and when my wolf would sense our mate. For now, I felt empty with sad thoughts of my family.
The big room was too much to handle, I felt overwhelmed just sitting on the edge of the bed,
listening to faint talks. What if that Alpha saw my shift? It would be very embarrassing for an
unknown powerful Alpha to see a small pup like me. Wait, why did that thought about the unknown
Alpha pass through my mind? I certainly didn't know him and Alpha Raden would have my head on
a silver tray if I disobeyed him.
I clutched the pink sheets with my bare hands, growing more impatient and curious, I couldn't just
wait here until I shifted. I had to do something so I opened the window and attempted to climb
down the vines that were on the side of the mansion. I had a few slips since the mansion was huge
and I had a long attempt but I managed to land just fine.
I went into the woods and what I saw made me widen my eyes in complete awe at the pure blue
waterfall but my pleasure was cut short when a rough hand grabbed my wrist, it wasn't just any
hand. It was Kavin Daniel's hand, the current Beta, I squeaked in fright because I knew that he was
the best warrior out there in the pack, what made me think I could just escape without worrying
about the guards. I was stupid enough to wander almost freely without thinking. I had to face the
wrath of the Alpha now. I shivered, wondering what my punishment could be.
They took me back to that dreadful luxurious room and I cried in despair more because the guards
couldn't understand that I had to get out of that empty room or the menacing memories would
beat me internally apart.
I attempted a classical punch the door move but that didn't work out either. The sweat began
clinging to my body and I had to rinse my body in the bathroom. I couldn't wait for the full moon. I
wondered what Alpha Raden wanted to talk to that Alpha about? Any chances of freedom shut
down when they placed metal bolts on the windows. I lost their trust.
I ended up taking a power nap till it was time for my shift, I was too exhausted from last night that I
slept for six full hours like I was in hibernation. The guards took me to the Alpha Raden standing
outside the mansion for my full shift today with others surrounded to watch a pack member turn
into a werewolf. I was bashful when their eyes stared at me
"You will be punished later for your lack of obedience.â I sourly nodded at Alpha Raden. The Beta
took me by the arm and stood beside me in the middle of the field. I felt surges of painfully hitting
my body like swords, I let out an agonized scream as my body began to crack and twist, the pain
was unbearable and I was sweaty from the effort to calm my body. My neck snapped and my hands
turned to claws.
Everyone gasped after a moment of silence at my wolf. I felt relieved when the pain ended, my wolf
introduced herself to me.
Hello, I am Lace, your wolf. She shyly said and I greeted back. Fully content with the way I met my
wolf. We had some adjusting to do together but I was sure we would be good friends. It was a
normal thing since I didn't have any friends. She was to be my first friend.
A girl squealed. "Woah, her wolf is multi-colored.â
Another girl joined her in cheerfulness over the fact that my wolf was different colors. "She even has
the black patches around her blue eyes that I dreamed of having." They all whined about how
beautiful my wolf was and I bathed in a bliss that my negative thoughts didn't come to reality.
Well, one of them did when I followed my mom's advice before, I imagined me as a human and I
shifted back, the Beta wrapped me with a black long sweater that reached above my knees.
A huge growl emitted, making the crowd open-mouthed at the glory of the unknown Alpha. The
earthly smell along a hint of caramel evaded my senses as I looked at the dark depths of his
breathtaking eyes. He speed walked to me in his grey suit and I widened my eyes as he approached
me.
"Mate."
