Chapter 7 -7-

The Deadly Alpha

"It was funny,” Kayla sniggered, "the way the Alpha freaked when you fainted out of shock.” This girl

wouldn't stop reminding me of that damned Alpha. I was to never speak to him again, I didn't even

feel like a Luna here.

Alpha allowed Kayla to sit with me for a little while until the guards returned from their missions.

They all looked unnaturally thin that I doubted Alpha fed them. Kayla's body was out of this world,

she was thinner than me and that said something.

"Kayla, did Alpha tell you when they would do the Luna ceremony?" I whispered so nobody could

hear me.

"There is no Luna ceremony at all.” She replied I felt frustrated at that. The pack clearly knew when

Alpha said that I was their Luna but I didn't think it was only that; I thought every pack had a special

Luna ceremony.

"Why?" She hesitated at my forwardness to know, biting her lip as she gazed at me guiltily.

"The pack didn't want to set the ceremony for you and Alpha agreed." I frowned at her answer. I

couldn't draw any conclusion at all and it frustrated me even more.

"The pack doesn't accept me as a Luna,” I said out loud irrationally, Kayla wanted to add something

but she shut up and I narrowed my eyes respectfully at her, I didn't have any friends except my own

wolf so I learned not to trust too easily like my mother advised me to before.

"Tell me," I commanded, my Luna instincts radiated and she bowed her head. I was mad at their

stupid Alpha and his hateful pack.

"I can't, he would torment me endlessly, it's a very big secret.” I let that go since I didn't want

anyone to suffer from my attitude. She relaxed when she knew I was too selfless for my own good.

"Okay." I agreed and she alarmed me to never tell on her or her head would fly to join the ones on

the field, I wanted to investigate about that but the guards made their appearance at the wrong

timing.

She hugged me goodbye and went, I changed to the silk midnight blue lace sleeping dress in the

bathroom and tightened the knot around my matching blue robe. Kayla had an impeccable taste in

clothes, I liked all of them so I neatly returned them to the bag and laid on my bed.

The Alpha growled when he entered and I flinched. He was mad that I was wearing a slightly

revealing nightwear with the guards around, it was too late to care. I rolled my eyes at his

approaching figure as he stood in front of my bed with a grey flannel and shorts.

"Tomorrow will be the war happening so I will escort you to the safe house that's next to the

mansion with Kayla and other women and kids." He declared steadily with a perfect stance.

"With Alpha Raden's pack?" He stiffened but then nodded at me, his eyes darkening with lust before

changing back.

Come on, just one touch, please. Lace pleaded desperately and I shushed her inside of me.

He stepped to my side where I laid and actually pecked my forehead. It leads me on to believe that

he had affection but I ignored his "sweet" gesture.

It was just seven pm but I was dreading tomorrow so I had no choice but to want to sleep since

there was nothing for me to do, I hadn't even seen the full mansion. Boredom couldn't get

anywhere to what I felt in this new house with a moody Alpha, his mood swings were something

that made me go insane at times.

"Good night, Destalia Morgane." His voice was strained, he fought a battle of lust and I could

obviously watch it from his eyes.

"How did you know my name?" I asked dumbly, gnawing on my lower lip. He almost smirked at me

but stilled with a cold expression.

"I saw into your record.” He replied, still standing on the edge of the left side of the bed, he had a

slightly exhausted face since he trained before, I saw him training and it was a hot sight to see.

"What about your name?" I softly asked since he was in an average mood today.

"I don't have a name, sweetheart." He responded and I crazily gazed at him, who in the world

doesn't have a name?

He wrapped the cover on top of me, saying it was a chilly night and as his lips neared mine, I turned

my head remembering the traitoring moment he put me in. He was displeased but he let it go with

another small peck on my cheek this time and slammed the door shut.

His treatment towards me was unforgivable but the restraint he had to endure was as hard as my

restraint to him. I just wanted to know how he turned that way towards me.

I closed my eyes and opened them again when I visioned the ghosts; it caused me trauma and I lost

all senses of sleep. I was wide awake so I told the guards to give me a glass of water, I waited until

one guard gave me some, I had a strong feeling that Alpha Raden's pack which was mine before

wouldn't stop until all Sterlight were dead. The war was actually happening and I wished I joined my

parents up there. I hated wars with a passion, I lost my dad because of that.

The Alpha was knitting inside my mind, he was like claustrophobia; choking me until there was no

air left and frustrating to the point where I didn't know which side was really him or anything about

him for that matter.

He was a mix of mystery and secrets; he kept me in the shadows because of his pack, he didn't tell

me anything about the pack so I could do my duties as Luna and what duties there might be. My

own current pack disrespected me by not making an official ceremony but I knew that someday, the

Alpha would crave me to be strong again, till then, I would refuse just so they could all take the

same medicine they gave me.

I was going to turn dark, once and for all.
