____________

Jisoo read Lisa's lips again, she was giving Chaeyoung a running commentary of the bits and pieces she caught.

"Whose Vanessa?" Jisoo asked her girlfriend.

Chaeyoung jumped up from the couch, "I'm out of tea, do you want more tea? I'll go make some tea."

Chaeyoung practically skipped into the kitchen and Jisoo followed her leisurely, knowing something was up.

"Chipmunk! Who's Vanessa?!" Jisoo shouted to let her voice carry into the kitchen.

Chaeyoung busied herself with the water. Jisoo finally caught up to her and stood on the threshold, eyebrow raised.

"Just a girl from my high school." Chaeyoung said nonchalantly.

It's not like she didn't want to tell Jisoo, but she knew that once she found out Vanessa was someone to her once upon a time it would probably sting her. She knew Jisoo like the back of her hand so she had avoided the topic altogether because what was the point when Jisoo was the only one that mattered to her. Will matter to her, but she knew Jisoo would press.

"Just?" Jisoo probed.

"Yeah."

"Was she a friend?"

"A sort of friend, yeah." Chaeyoung answered, avoiding Jisoo's eyes.

"What does that mean? What's a sort of friend?"

"I mean "friend" was technically in the title?" Chaeyoung said nervously.

"Chipmunk. Was she your girlfriend?"

Chaeyoung shrugged and nodded once.

"So Vanessa was your girlfriend in high school?"

"For a little while yeah."

"Why does it feel like you're hiding something?"

"Because I am," Chaeyoung answered immediately.

Jisoo laughed because her girlfriend was always too honest. Especially if Jisoo asked her a direct question, she didn't have it in her to lie.

"What are you hiding?" Jisoo asked with a smirk.

Chaeyoung put the tea bags in the cup and sighed.

"Vanessa was my first love." Chaeyoung waited for it, for the touch of insecurity.

Jisoo hated the jealousy that rose after that comment. It was all in the past of course, but the fact Chaeyoung had ever loved someone other than her would never sit well with her.

"What happened with you guys?"

"She was older. I wasn't ready for certain things yet. Intimate things. We broke up." Chaeyoung explained.

Jisoo could tell it was still a really sore subject for Rosie.

"Are you not over her yet?" Jisoo asked, irrationally dreading the answer. Only because for Jisoo, Chaeyoung was it for her. There was no one else in her future and she might as well erase her entire past because they were all insignificant.

Chaeyoung immediately stopped stirring the tea, walking over to Jisoo to give her a light peck on the lips. This was the exact part she had been scared to witness because an insecure Jisoo was like drinking orange juice right after minty toothpaste, it shouldn't happen, they just don't go together because Jisoo was perfect and her confidence in herself was warranted. Especially when it came to her, Jisoo owned her heart and soul.

"I love you Jisoo. No one occupies my mind like that except you. She was my first love but it was nothing compared to the love I have for you, it never even came close. No one ever came close."

"I love you too Chipmunk, more than anyone." Jisoo said, feeling relieved. "I just want to understand I guess, because you still look upset over it."

"It just stung I guess. It was a little traumatizing for a first love. We broke up and she found someone literally that same night, and it was all over school how they had hooked up and everyone looked at me like I was dumb. A lot of people thought I'd naively given up my virginity for her and that she dumped me to sleep with other people once she had gotten what she wanted."

"I'll kill her. What's her last name?" Jisoo said immediately. "Where did you hide my bat?" She finished, looking around because Chaeyoung had confiscated it from her while Kai was in the house.

Chaeyoung giggled. "You're going to beat up my ex-girlfriend for hooking up with someone that wasn't me after we broke up? Because that makes it sound like you wanted it to be me she ended up hooking up with instead."

"Well when you put it like that—" Jisoo said scowling, using the inflection at the end. "—It sounds ridiculous, but it's not, because she hurt you and no one hurts my chipmunk if I have anything to say about it."

Chaeyoung kissed her again.

"God I love you, but it's okay babe. You don't have to be my princess in shining armor this time because I already took care of it." Chaeyoung said, eyes glinting.

Jisoo smirked, this was the side of Chaeyoung that only she got to see. "What did you do chipmunk? Tell me everything. In detail."

Jisoo ended up on top of Chaeyoung, heatedly making out with her on the living room couch after Chaeyoung told her the story of how she managed to get back at Vanessa. She needed to kiss her because she loved this side of her. Chaeyoung didn't have a mean bone in her body, but she had a way of manipulating karma and Jisoo adored her lowkey devious side.

"Remind me never to piss you off." Jisoo said as she kissed Chaeyoung's neck.

"You would never." Chaeyoung answered breathlessly from the kisses she was receiving. She knew it was true, Jisoo had always treated her like a goddess.

Jisoo pulled back. "So after that no one ever saw her again and everyone thought someone had killed her for you because they felt bad about what happened to you?" Jisoo asked with an awed smile.

"Yeah. It was a pretty popular rumor. They spent months trying to figure out who had been my knight in shining armor that killed my ex-girlfriend for me. The girl she hooked up with started being really nice to me for fear she'd get killed too." Chaeyoung giggled. "Everyone bought it except Lisa. She still looks at me like I might have murdered her and hid the body. Granted, besides you she's the only one that knows I'm not the complete saint everyone makes me out to be. I think it's funny though so I never even told her what really happened."

"You're a genius and I love you so much and I'm going to rip your clothes off now because what you did was so hot." Jisoo said, moving to grab the hem of Chaeyoung's shirt.

"Wait babe, we have to rescue Kai first." Chaeyoung hesitantly interjected, because she really would prefer staying on this couch with Jisoo letting her do just that.

Jisoo grumbled. "Damn it. I swear if those two aren't together by the end of the weekend I'm really going to leave them down there for two years. They're cutting down my sexy times with all the scheming I have to do to get them to date again."

Chaeyoung leaned up to kiss her slowly and Jisoo got lost in their make out session again. They finally pulled away when their thirty minute timer was set off, letting them know it was time to rescue Kai.

"Let's go get him, if we want them to get back together we can't leave him third wheeling down there." Chaeyoung prodded.

"Okay but sexy times immediately after." Jisoo said, reluctantly getting up.

Chaeyoung smiled widely, feeling the butterflies because no matter how many times she'd been with Jisoo or how long they'd been together, the fact she was the one lucky enough to get to be intimate with her and wanted by her always left her a flustered mess.

Jisoo put the code in and opened the door slowly so as not to alert the girls.

Kai heard the beep, he'd been watching the clock for his thirty minutes to be up.

He smirked and started sprinting.

Lisa noticed the movement a little too late because she had been a little too hyper aware of Jennie and a little too preoccupied stealing glances at her because she would occasionally glare at Kai and of course Lisa found it hot.

Jennie was too preoccupied in making sure Kai's line of sight was above Lisa's neckline, too busy glaring at him when she thought he wasn't looking at her face to realize the reason he kept looking away from them both was because he was watching the clock.

They both followed behind him but he had already made it to the top of the steps.

"Hurry up dumbass or I'll hit you with my bat again. Jump!" Jisoo urged him because she noticed Lisa was hot on his heels, almost having caught up. He dove out the door hastily, his body landing flat on the ground and he grunted from the impact, knocking the wind out of himself.

Jisoo barely had time to slam the heavy door shut. Lisa had tried to slide and stick her foot in before it shut to block it but she had very narrowly missed.

"You would have broken a leg Lisa! It's a heavy steel door that weighs three times as much as you!" Jennie scolded her immediately, punching her on the shoulder before walking back down the stairs. "Don't do that, it's not worth you getting hurt over you reckless idiot. She'll let us out eventually."

"Sorry." Lisa said sheepishly. "Didn't really think that through."

Jennie went back to the couch. She decided to switch targets, she had studied enough for one day. She put her books up, finishing up her study session because she needed to check up on the upcoming surgery.

"Do you mind?" Jennie asked as she pointed to her own phone. "I still have a lot of people to call."

"Go ahead baby brat, you won't disturb me." Lisa said smiling as she went back to edit her pictures.

"Are you sure?" Jennie asked again, "I might end up yelling at a few people and there's not really anywhere to go here."

"Even better. I've always told you that you were hot when you yell." Lisa blurted out. "Sorry." She added sheepishly, looking back to her laptop screen to distract herself.

Jennie blushed, like she always did when Lisa complimented her and started making her first round of calls once she composed herself enough.

"What do you mean she's not at the hospital yet! I sent a driver! She needs to see him before he goes into surgery."

Jennie huffed into the phone and Lisa was already paying literally zero attention to the screen in front of her. Preferring to watch Jennie work and yell. She really was so fucking hot when she yelled and got all angry and stern and demanding. It made Lisa want to rip her clothes off. It made Lisa want Jennie to yell at her to rip her clothes off for her.

"Don't let them take him in yet, give me fifteen minutes to fix it." Jennie continued. "I'll get her there."

.....

"Fifteen minutes! Are you really telling me you're so incompetent that you can't have them wait to operate for fifteen minutes so that a little five year old boy can get reassured by his mother first!" Jennie yelled, calling them out.

Suddenly Lisa was fantasizing about having angry sex with Jennie as she watched her own whoever was on the other end of that phone.

....

"That's what I thought." Jennie bit back to whoever was on the phone.

Jennie hung up the phone and dialed another number.

Lisa wiped her mouth to make sure she wasn't drooling at the way Jennie had so quickly gotten her way. Her little fantasy was getting away from her because at some point she started imagining pinning Jennie to a wall after pissing her off and Lisa was trying to make it up to her.

"Miss Lee? Was the driver late?"

By the way Jennie softened it seemed to Lisa like the driver wasn't the one that was going to get fired, but someone was.

....

"Okay, how far are you?"

...

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you get there on time, can you hand the phone to the driver?"

....

"Mr. Min, get her there in five minutes and I'll give you a bonus."

....

"I'll pay for the speeding ticket, get her there now. Safely. I can't stress that enough."

Jennie hung up the phone again and presumably called the other guy back.

"She'll be there in five minutes and if I find they took him into the operating room before he sees his mother I will no longer be working with you is that clear?"

Jennie wasn't even talking to her but Lisa almost nodded as if she was the one being scolded. It's clear. Super clear. Whatever the baby brat wants, Lisa thought as she watched on. Jennie always had this intimidating look when she took charge and despite her size Lisa knew she could probably make grown men cry just with her words alone if she wanted to.

....

"I want regular updates, every thirty minutes, even if there isn't an update, you call to tell me there is no update, on the dot, until the surgery is finished. Don't do what you did the last time because I already have your replacement ready. There are plenty of people in Busan that can take over for you when I fire you if you fail me again."

Jennie hung the phone up again. She felt eyes on her. Jennie looked up and watched Lisa grin at her. Jennie felt the blush coming already.

"What?" Jennie asked self consciously.

"Nothing." Lisa said a little too quickly. She composed herself from her little daydreams and fantasies she was just having about Jennie to give her a proper answer. "I just missed seeing you in your element. I like when you go into CEO mode."

Jennie rolled her eyes playfully. "You just like watching me boss people around."

"I do." Lisa admitted. A little too much. "It might be my favorite thing."

Especially because it fit in so well with their dynamic. Out in the real world, Lisa was laid back. She let Jennie be the boss and take charge and be demanding and spoiled but in the bedroom it was the other way around and Lisa loved it.

She loved that even though Jennie was demanding she would always relinquish control because deep down, she wanted to be taken care of and to feel vulnerable and have someone catch her and Lisa was more than happy to oblige.

Something in Lisa's eyes made Jennie almost shiver. She simultaneously wanted to run away before she turned red again or jump into Lisa's arms and beg her to kiss her. Probably the second one.

Definitely the second one because she could have sworn Lisa's eyes just slowly dragged up her legs that were covered in some sinfully short shorts that she didn't even know she owned. Her shirt was longer so if you didn't know any better you'd think Jennie was only wearing an oversized T-shirt and a pair of underwear, or nothing at all under that shirt because even as she was sitting they didn't peek through.

Jennie wanted to make sure Lisa really had looked though so she uncrossed and recrossed her legs again to bring attention to them as she bit on her pen, leaning forward and resting an elbow on them as she set her face in her hand. She pretended to study whatever was on the laptop in front of her but really she was keeping an eye out for Lisa out of the corner of her eye and yeah, the glance was unmistakable that time.

Jennie felt brave, she looked up and raised an eyebrow and Lisa met her eyes, who averted them quickly that time. Jennie simultaneously smirked and blushed at the same time at the fact she caught Lisa staring. That she even got her to stare. She dialed another number. Feeling a little smug.

____________

"Wow, I can feel the sexual tension from here." Kai said as he reached in for some more popcorn.

"I know right." Chaeyoung agreed.

Jisoo rolled her eyes at him as she came back from the kitchen with a few bottles of soju. She was annoyed that instead of sexy times, her and her girlfriend had inherited the third wheel.

Chaeyoung, being the polite host that she is, asked him if he wanted to hang out for a bit, as an apology for getting beat up by most of the women in this house and to thank him for being a gentleman and not fighting back. Considering once upon a time he had almost chased after Lisa when she punched him.

Though Jisoo suspected Chaeyoung had noticed how he didn't have any friends other than Lisa and how excited he was that they were watching what he referred to as Jenlisa's new reality show. Kai and Rosie spent ten minutes coming up with a catchy name for it before Rosie asked him if he wanted to stay and watch with them.

Jisoo had frowned the whole time during the ten minute conversation and ensuing invitation, but Chaeyoung sent her a sneaky text and promised to make it up to Jisoo by doing the thing for her tonight so it wasn't an awful trade off by any means. Jisoo was just impatient.

"Move." Jisoo told Kai as she shoved him to the other side of the couch and sat between him and Chaeyoung.

Kai scooted over quickly.

"You think they'll kiss yet?" Kai asked as he grabbed the soju and poured them all shots.

"They better or I'm messing with the thermostat. I can't keep them past tomorrow because of Jendeukie's test."

"Thermostat?" Kai asked curiously, pouring them all some more soju.

"I'm gonna make it really hot in there and then lock the thermostat so they can't mess with it. Hot bunker equals less clothes."

"Genius." Kai said approvingly. He poured Jisoo a shot reverently and Jisoo smirked, downing it.

"You're not a complete idiot I guess." Jisoo said afterwards. "I'm still watching you though. If you so much as hurt either of them again I'll bring out something much worse than the bat."

Kai gulped. "I swear, I'm done with with that. Lisa's my best friend, she changed my life and Jennie's my oldest friend. I want them to be happy and all I want is to make amends."

Jisoo felt like he was sincere enough but she was still Jisoo so she had fun by messing with him. Occasionally grabbing the knife they were using to cut up the pie a little too quickly and drawing back a little too near him sometimes just to watch him flinch and she would snicker.

___________

Jennie's eyes flicked up again after she hung up on yet another person that she had been yelling at for two minutes straight because they had almost forgotten to book an OR for her next kid's surgery next week and the look Lisa was giving her was making her feel hot again because this time, Lisa wasn't trying to hide it. At all.

She watched Jennie yell into the phone the entire time. Jennie even got up and started pacing out of nerves because she really needed to focus on what she was saying to the moron on the phone but instead all she could do is feel Lisa's eyes on her, daring her to look, challenging her to catch Lisa checking her out again, because that's exactly what Lisa was doing—shamelessly checking Jennie out.

"Stop looking at me like that." Jennie mumbled out when she sat back on the couch, avoiding Lisa's gaze.

"Why?" Lisa prodded, forcing herself not to smirk.

"Because you know it makes me nervous!" Jennie whined.

"Why does it make you nervous?" Lisa asked, the corners of her mouth twitching up now.

"You know why." Jennie said grumpily.

"I want to hear it though, to make sure."

"No." Jennie pouted.

Lisa scooted closer to Jennie on the couch, forcing herself not to pounce on her and kiss that adorable pout already.

"Come on baby brat. Just tell me."

"I have more pride than you think Lisa." Did she though? She thought to herself, because she was about to throw pride and caution out the window if this woman got any closer.

Naturally, Lisa got closer. She grabbed her by the chin and made Jennie look at her and Jennie's breath hitched.

"Tell me." Lisa demanded and of course Jennie couldn't avoid a direct command from Lisa when she's looking at her all intense like that and touching her and using that tone of voice. Because that's exactly what it was, a command, and Jennie would inevitably obey.

"Because you know it gets me all hot and bothered okay!" Jennie huffed, pouting harder, her cheeks tinting a cute pink after she blurted it out. See, there goes her pride.

Lisa smirked and Jennie almost slapped her again because she looked so smug. She wanted to slap her, then kiss her senseless. Jennie's brain always got scrambled by Lisa because that didn't even make sense—the fact she simultaneously wanted to be angry at her and love her all at once but that's just what always happened with Lisa.

Lisa had always risen those emotions out of her constantly with her relentless teasing and basically showing Jennie how much control she had over her, showing Jennie who was really the boss.

"You're still attracted to me then?" Lisa asked innocently, as if she didn't already know by Jennie's reaction and that cute embarrassed blush. She just wanted to hear it coming from her mouth.

"Everyone is attracted to you, you idiot." Jennie said rolling her eyes but blushing nonetheless. She needed a fan at this point to cool down.

"But are you?"

"Of course I am Lisa." Jennie sighed. "Like you've said to me before, I have eyes. I'm not blind. You're attractive. I'm attractive. Everyone in this goddamn house is attractive!" She finished with a swirl of her hand dramatically to hide her embarrassment.

Lisa grinned wider and Jennie's heart skipped again. Lisa was too close and she was half naked still and she hadn't taken her hand off of her chin yet.

"Can you please go put a shirt on. I can't believe you were sitting there all nonchalantly in just a damn sports bra with Kai in the room." Jennie glared at her.

Jealousy was an easier emotion for her than embarrassment after all. Jennie had always been more on the angry side than the shy side. That side was normal, second nature to her.

"Don't tell me you were jealous of Kai? He's fruity! Well mostly fruity." Lisa said laughing and Jennie could feel the puffs of air on her face and dammit even her breath smelled nice.

"I was jealous of a seven year old, what makes you think I wouldn't be jealous of him too." Jennie deadpanned, slapping Lisa's hand away from her chin impatiently and scooting away just a bit on the couch, she really couldn't go far though because they were already near the edge so she got maybe six more inches of space.

"Why are you jealous though?" Lisa pressed smugly, liking the direction this conversation was going.

"Because you're my ex-girlfriend and I don't want you to ever move on from me because I'm a brat like that with all of my exes." Jennie said smiling sweetly. Her attitude coming back a bit. Bringing back some of that false bravado.

"So you would be jealous if Kai started dating someone?" Lisa started, baiting her.

Jennie made a disgusted face. "Ew no. He can go back to being the campus whore for all I care because he's not my ex. You said it yourself!"

"Well what about your other exes? Would you be jealous of them?"

Jennie shrugged uncomfortably. "They don't really count either, they were just flings."

"So I'm the only one that counts?" Lisa smirked in triumph.

Jennie pouted. "Yes Lisa! Okay. Our fake three month and real one day long relationship is the only one that counted for me." Jennie crossed her arms, feeling a little pathetic at admitting that.

"For me too." Lisa admitted.

"Whatever. You dated the stupid airhead for four years." Jennie was jealous again. "She obviously thought it counted considering she tried to kiss you at her own fucking wedding like I didn't even fucking exist. While I was there!"

"Wouldn't it matter more what I think about that relationship, since you dated me and not her?"

Jennie narrowed her eyes, "You know I loathe when you talk about her, and there's a very sharp pencil on the table I can use on you if you keep this up."

Lisa ignored her, smirking.

"It doesn't count because I felt more for you in one month than I ever did for her in four years. I told you I loved you in three months when it took me a year to tell her that and even then it wasn't at the same level."

Jennie's breath hitched at first at her words, but then she immediately scowled when Lisa admitted she told Suzy she loved her too. Obviously Jennie knew that, she'd even heard Lisa say it to her over the phone during their group lunches several times, all of which prompted Jennie to make snide comments under her breath.

Jennie really had been delusional about her feelings for Lisa back then. Despite knowing Lisa had obviously dropped the "L" word to Suzy, it didn't make the jealousy stay at bay any less. If anything it intensified it, knowing she had been present for it and it hadn't been directed at her but at that airhead instead.

Jennie snatched the pencil and pointed it menacingly at Lisa, "it better not have counted, and since it doesn't I don't want to hear about that cheating, backstabbing, home-wrecking, airhead ever again."

Lisa snatched the pencil back, getting super close to Jennie's face.

"Hear about who?" Lisa smirked. "I don't know any airheads."

Jennie narrowed her eyes in warning but then realized how close Lisa was now. Again. So she abruptly got up from the couch. The close proximity was getting to her. She already threw her pride out, she couldn't throw caution out the window too.

She was two seconds away from launching herself at Lisa and begging her to do way more things to her than just kissing and despite wanting nothing more than to do just that, to be back where she belonged in her arms—Jennie was confused.

She didn't want to hurt Lisa ever again. She also didn't want to get rejected by her. Lisa had always been naturally flirty, Jennie didn't know if this was Lisa actually wanting her back, being a tease, or hell even getting revenge for hurting her by making Jennie feel flustered. Not to mention their pending talk that they never really finished. Everything was too complicated still.

Despite Lisa being so flirty as they spent more time in here, Jennie could still see the hurt and the guardedness in Lisa's eyes and it broke her. She needed to create space again before she tried jumping Lisa's bones and ruined whatever small progress they had made because if there was even the smallest chance Lisa would take her back and they could make it, Jennie would absolutely try to take it. She would do it right this time.

"Where are you going?" Lisa whined.

"To make dinner. We already skipped lunch." Jennie said hastily.

Lisa pouted, banging her head on the back of the couch. So close. She almost had her.

___________

"It's ready you idiot. Hurry up before it gets cold."

Lisa's eyes widened at the spread once she made it to the kitchen that doubled as a dining room.

"This looks amazing." Lisa said in awe, especially because Jennie had managed to prepare so much in such a short amount of time. She felt like she was at a restaurant with the amount of side dishes there where.

Jennie smirked, "I used her best meat, it's super expensive and rare. She was probably saving it. Serves her right for locking us down here."

Lisa sat down on the table in front of the portable grill. The meat was already sizzling and it smelled delicious.

Jennie grabbed a wine opener and looked at the wine rack, looking at all the dates on each bottle and inspecting the brands carefully. She giggled in excitement and clapped when she saw one particular bottle.

Lisa had to glue her ass to the chair before she scooped her up in her arms and twirled her and peppered kisses all over her face, excited Jennie was so adorable.

"Oh she's so going to regret locking me up down here." Jennie said as she opened it.

___________

Jisoo had been watching intently as soon as she saw Jennie go to the wine rack to look at the bottles.

"That one, pick that one Jendeukie. That's a good one." Jisoo said nervously to the tv. "Stop! No don't keep looking. Don't look down don't look down don't look down."

She watched Jennie get closer and closer and then clap excitedly. Jisoo knew she must be squealing right now.

"She fucking looked down." Jisoo face palmed. "Not the Rosé Dom Perignon." Jisoo grumbled. "I was saving that for our anniversary."

Chaeyoung kissed Jisoo on the cheek. "You got that for us?"

Jisoo nodded sadly. That bottle had cost her several grand, but she wanted to spoil her girlfriend and she was lowkey considering if she should propose to her then so she figured despite Chaeyoung not caring about expensive things, Jisoo thought she deserved it.

"You're the sweetest babe." Chaeyoung said, moving to her lips to distract her because Jisoo looked so dejected.

Chaeyoung and Jisoo started making out quickly after that and Kai shook his head, pouring himself another shot of soju.

"I'm so single." He sighed before taking it.

___________

Lisa watched Jennie jump and squeal as she giggled her way to the table, opening up the wine excitedly. Her laughter was contagious, Lisa couldn't help the smitten grin on her own face at the sight.

"Good wine?" Lisa asked amused as Jennie pulled some wine glasses out.

"The best!" Jennie said happily as she poured them both a glass. "This costs like, at least three thousand dollars a bottle."

Lisa looked at the glass in front of her, wide eyed. She got closer, staring at it.

"Is it made out of gold?" Lisa asked seriously, trying to look for gold flecks or something.

Jennie giggled again. "That's not even her most expensive bottle. She has a Cristal in there that's worth $15,000 because most of the grapes weren't great that year. They only use the best grapes possible so they made a limited amount of bottles and it made the price of the bottles go up since they're really rare."

Lisa shot up in shock. "Fifteen thousand? I could buy three decent cars with that. I could pay for a nice enough apartment for a whole year with that!"

Jennie went back to the rack and showed Lisa the bottle. She heard the intercom crackle on as soon as Jennie had picked it up and Jennie laughed again. She knew it. She knew they had been watching them.

"Don't you dare fucking touch that bottle Jendeukie or you're never coming out!"

Lisa jumped in fear. "What the hell? How does she know?"

Jennie looked to the ceiling to try and find one of the security cameras. She found a really well hidden one in the corner of the kitchen and grinned.

"Because they've been watching us like creeps." Jennie answered Lisa. Shaking the Cristal in her hand tauntingly towards the camera.

"Put it down." Jisoo demanded again.

Jennie shook her head and smirked. Miming that she was about to open it.

"Jendeukie come on you already opened the Rosé that I was going to give to Rosie, don't break my heart."

Jennie started working on the seal and she heard the door beep. Jennie giggled harder as she heard footsteps rushing down the stairs.

"Put the bottle down." Jisoo said as she made it to the kitchen, holding her hand out as if Jennie was pointing a gun at her and she was telling her not to shoot.

"Nope. I'm bored down here, might as well pop some bottles." Jennie taunted. "The rarer the better."

"I'll stop scheming for a month." Jisoo promised. "No meddling in your life I swear."

"Not good enough." Jennie said, shaking her head, holding the bottle behind her back and moving from side to side. Lisa found the sight so damn adorable. "I also don't think you could even last that long. I've known you all of my life Jisoo. You're incapable of not plotting."

Jennie pretended to open the bottle again.

"I'll share! I'll share it with you when I decide to open it." Jisoo said moving closer as Jennie took a step back tauntingly.

"That's not very comforting considering I can just open it right now and not share with you." Jennie shrugged.

"Give me the bottle!" Jisoo ran after her and Jennie started running around the apartment squealing as Jisoo chased her.

"Stop chasing me before I drop it!" Jennie said between high pitched squeals when Jisoo got close. "Neither of us will get it."

Jisoo kept chasing so Jennie ran to Lisa who immediately got up and put herself between them. She pushed Jennie to the wall behind her and held her arms out to cage her in so Jisoo couldn't get to her. Laughing giddily too all the while.

The butterflies were erupting in her stomach because Jennie was peeking from behind her over her shoulder and holding the back of her jersey to keep Lisa close as she taunted Jisoo. Lisa could occasionally feel Jennie's breath on her neck when she tiptoed over her and her laughter was so contagious. Lisa's heart was swelling.

Jennie felt brave considering she had Lisa protecting her right now. Jisoo would have probably thrown something at her already. Nothing  that would hurt her, but she wouldn't put it past her to grab that flour bag next to her to throw it at them.

Jennie made the mistake of glancing at it and she watched Jisoo's face change into a devious smirk when she caught her line of sight.

"Give me the bottle Jendeuk before I do something you'll regret."

Jennie hid farther behind Lisa.

"Nope."

Jisoo grabbed the flour and opened it.

Jennie was about to give her the bottle, not wanting a flour rain shower, done teasing her anyway but Lisa pushed her back because she was a little late. Jisoo flung the flour and Lisa took the brunt of it. All of it actually.

"Now I'm really not giving it to you." Jennie said as she started wiping Lisa's shoulders from behind free of the flour. "I'm so sorry, this is my fault."

Lisa just turned to the side to look behind her and grinned, "Did she get you?"

Jennie looked down at herself. "No. You took it all." Jennie pouted, feeling a little bad since she started this whole game in the first place.

"Then I did my job right." Lisa whispered.

Jennie felt like that phrase meant so much more. Like Lisa was promising to protect her. Like it was her job to protect her. Jennie's breath hitched again. She completely forgot about Jisoo at they way they were staring at each other intensely. Like they were saying something to each other through their eyes.

"I'm saving it for my wedding!" Jisoo blurted out.

They were snapped out of their staring contest that had probably only lasted a full second but to Jennie felt like she peacefully drowned in doe eyes for an eternity. Once what Jisoo finally said registered, Jennie smirked. She peeked over Lisa's shoulder again.

"Since when are you getting married?" Jennie teased.

Jisoo blushed.

"There's a literal engagement ring in my pocket right now." Jisoo hissed, trying not to move her lips too much. Rosie couldn't really read lips but she wasn't going to risk it. "But I can't show you because Rosie is watching. So please put the goddamn bottle down."

Jennie giggled and finally stepped out from behind Lisa and put it back on the rack and Jisoo finally relaxed.

"I wasn't going to actually open it Chu. I just wanted to see if you guys were still creeping on us like weirdos." Jennie said as she moved to get a rag.

"You opened the Dom Pérignon!" Jisoo said indignantly, ignoring the last half of that comment.

"Yeah because you have another one in your mother's cellar. Unlike the Cristal, the Rosé can be replaced."

"You suck." Jisoo grumbled. They used to sneak down to the cellar a lot to steal the good wines from her mom, but only the ones they had duplicates of. Of course Jennie would remember that one was down there still.

Jennie led Lisa back to her seat and started wiping at her face to get the flour off. Her heart skipped because Lisa just kept grinning at her dopily and it was so cute.

"That's what you get for locking me up for your own weekend entertainment." Jennie said, moving away from Lisa for a second to flip the meat so it wouldn't burn. "Want some? I used your rare Hanwoo Beef from the freezer." Jennie teased her again as she grilled the meat in front of her in the portable grill and popped a piece in her mouth. "Mmm. Yeah, this is definitely rare beef."

Jisoo rolled her eyes. "Of course you did." She opened her mouth as Jennie fed her a piece. "I hate that you're such a good cook. I can't even be annoyed with you. What did you even season this with?" Jisoo asked.

"Not telling you." Jennie said as she popped another cooked piece in her mouth, raising her eyebrow before she took a sip of her wine, smirking tauntingly afterwards.

Jennie it seemed was in a playful mood right now and Lisa really liked it. Her heart kept skipping every three beats or so. Especially when Jennie kneeled in front of her again and fussed over her, shaking the flour out of her jersey.

Jennie was right, it was a good thing she had eventually put a shirt on. Jennie was leaving goosebumps behind as she traced her collarbones with the rag. Thankfully, Jisoo had aimed for Jennie so it mostly hit her face so Jennie wasn't going much lower than that.

Maybe not so thankfully, because Lisa kind of wanted her to.

She felt Jennie's fingers in her hair as she shook the flour out, giggling and Lisa stifled a moan at the feeling of them digging in and almost massaging her scalp.

Lisa almost begged Jisoo to throw flour at her again when Jennie moved away. "There, all done." She scrunched her nose up cutely, "You might still have some in your hair though. Thank you for saving me."

Lisa shrugged in response, smiling wide, not trusting herself not to say anything too revealing right now. Especially in front of Jisoo who would no doubt tease her relentlessly because Lisa wanted to say something cheesy like I'll always be there to save you if you let me or something along those lines.

Jisoo rolled her eyes at them. "Save me some of that meat and I'll let you out of here before your test on Monday."

"I've already seasoned all of it because I knew you'd come down here. It's over there. Take it and Rosie can grill it for you. There's some side dishes in those containers too." Jennie added as she finished grilling some of the meat to perfection and put it on Lisa's plate.

Lisa happily dug in. "Thanks baby brat." Lisa didn't realize she moaned as soon as she tasted it. "Damn that's so tender."

Jennie absolutely noticed it and her thoughts went to that inappropriate place again. Especially after spending a solid minute wiping flour off of Lisa and trying her hardest to keep her eyes in appropriate places. She was unsuccessful though. The sides of Lisa's jersey were low-cut and sometimes when she shifted she got a peek of the sides of her breasts and her abs again and Jennie definitely snuck a few glances. Thankfully Lisa's eyes had been closed so she didn't get caught.

Jisoo grabbed all the extra stuff and started walking out of the kitchen. She changed her mind about halfway, going back for the Cristal bottle.

Jennie giggled at her again.

"Don't trust you." Jisoo said narrowing her eyes at them as she tucked it under her arm.

Neither Lisa nor Jennie made a move to follow her out and try to escape the bunker this time, both too busy and content at the table eating the food Jennie cooked and drinking good wine.

They could have easily escaped this time considering Jisoo was carrying so much stuff and it took her a solid thirty seconds before they even heard the door click shut again.

"So how much do you think that hanwoo set that you cooked cost?" Lisa asked Jennie.

"Probably about $500."

Lisa took a sip of her wine. "Am I worth three thousand five hundred dollars now that there's three thousand dollar wine and five hundred dollar beef inside of me?" Lisa pondered thoughtfully as she swirled her wine glass.

Jennie laughed. "You're worth way more than three thousand dollars."

"How much more?" Lisa asked a little eagerly.

"Hmm, I don't know, I'd give you at least another hundred thousand more for saving me from a flour shower."

"Don't forget. I also saved you from Kai at that first gala." Lisa pointed out. "What do I get for that?"

"Oh you definitely get a million more dollars for that. Especially since I was super rude to you afterwards." Jennie giggled. "But I'm splitting that with you because technically I saved you from the airhead too."

"Now I'm thinking I might try to write all of my good deeds so you can tell me how much I'm worth. Maybe I'll be a billionaire." Lisa grinned.

"Well there was you always carrying my books for me and helping me with my charity event countless times and calming me down every time I freaked out and then saving me from my sperm donor like a thousand times. Even yesterday during my panic attack you helped. I think you might be a bit of a saint at this point, the number is getting a little big." Jennie said with a warm shy smile that made Lisa's heart swell again.

"Would you say I'm priceless?" Lisa winked and was proud to elicit a giggle.

"Yeah, a priceless idiot." Jennie joked back as she grabbed a piece of meat and rolled it for Lisa inside some lettuce, dipped it in a sauce she made and fed her. Lisa took a bite and got the tips of Jennie's fingers with her lips and Jennie tried not to shiver. Again, very unsuccessfully.

"You seriously are such an amazing cook. I missed your food." Lisa said honestly. "I tried lots of different things while I was traveling, it was all great. I won't lie. Especially in the poorer parts since they usually raise their own crops and animals, they just know how to make do and make good food but they had nothing on you."

Jennie blushed. "Stop, I'm not that good."

"You so are. Twenty out of ten." Lisa said firmly with a cute nod if you were to ask Jennie.

Jennie fed her another bite of beef with a different side dish before feeding herself.

"Fifty out of ten!" Lisa amended after that bite, making a fist and hitting the table to prove her point.

Jennie giggled and shook her head.

"I think next time for our BFF What's Best Food Tour we should have three categories. Jennie's Homemade food vs. Expensive food vs. Cheap food. We haven't done it this year yet. Your food would so win." Lisa continued. "I would actually win a bet for once." Lisa said seriously as she refilled Jennie's wine glass for her before it got too low.

Jennie tried to still her heart at how easily they fell into each other. How domestic it was. How attentive they were to each other because while Jennie kept feeding Lisa, Lisa kept refilling Jennie's plate or her wine glass or getting up to refill the side dishes for them when they ran out, not letting Jennie move from her seat.

"Idiot." Jennie said fondly. "You're going to make me cook three different meals for all of you? I'd never leave the kitchen."

Jennie took a sip of her wine.

"I would totally help."

"And make me have to babysit you so you don't burn anything or hurt yourself? That's just more work for me." Jennie teased.

"Fair point. The food is definitely not safe with me. I'll hand you stuff and Chaengie can help then."

Jennie rolled her eyes.

"You're hopeless." Jennie taunted, unable to keep the smile off her face.

"I know." Lisa said seriously.

Lisa poured them each another glass of wine.

"Seriously though, thanks for cooking baby brat. I would probably have starved in here without you."

"There was plenty of triangle Kimbap in the fridge for you to eat." Jennie teased. "I know you're awful in the kitchen but you can unwrap products without any damage."

"You never know." Lisa said darkly, "I'd probably spontaneously combust the stove just walking next to it to get to the fridge."

Jennie giggled again at how serious she sounded.

"Anyway I guess I'm just trying to say I'm just glad I'm stuck with you down here. I'd hate to be down here alone. Not only would I probably be starving, I'd also be bored out of my mind and would have most definitely not gotten any work done. I don't know why you're so good at keeping me on track and focused."

Jennie tried not to blush. "Me too. I'm glad I'm stuck with you too." Jennie took a sip of wine to hide her smitten smile because those words almost erased the it physically hurts to see her. For a moment she could forget she hurt Lisa so much to elicit that kind of reaction from her.
