Chapter 36

Fake Dating... or is it real?

A/N

😅 You already know what I accidentally did again so I'm not even gonna say it.

Anyways here's the first part of the double update.

Carry on Turtle Rabbits, Baby Brat Mandus, Chipmunks, and Limarios.

_______________

"Limario." Jisoo said in greeting.

"Oh. Hey." Lisa said, pacing the room. "Do you know where Rosie is? Is she still helping Jennie? I kind of need her because if she's not back by the time the others come back I'm gonna end up getting wasted for my own wedding."

"She'll be here in a minute." Jisoo said, raising an eyebrow in question. "And how could you possibly get wasted, the wedding is like in an hour and a half? I've drank with you and you're surprisingly not a lightweight and I don't see you drinking right now anyway."

"Bambam, Jackson and Jessi are going to get me drunk at this rate because their solution for every time I panic from the nerves is to give me a shot and let me tell you, it's bad, I'm so nervous I've basically had to take one every two minutes." Lisa said, pacing harder as she continued talking and rambling.

"I guess I should thank Jimin for having the sense of shaking his head at them when they tried to give me shots of Henessy and being the voice of reason. He made them switch to champagne so that's what they've been giving me but still.

I'm so nervous that at this rate I'll finish the whole bottle of the ridiculously expensive Crystal bottle Kai gifted me. I'm pretty sure it's the same one you used to own. How'd he know about that anyway?"

"I thought you were done with all the Crystal's in the world?" Jisoo teased her.

After that night it became a running joke and they all started mispronouncing Cristal on purpose after Jennie told them about Lisa's little drunk pouty rant in their room on the day Jisoo proposed to Rosie when Jennie declared she wouldn't be sleeping with Lisa in her room that night.

They'd either point to the bottle and call it Crystal or Al depending on what gender they thought a specific bottle was.

"You forget your little bestie third wheeled with us and watched the Jenlisa reality t.v show with us for a bit too. He was there when Jennie threatened to open it and I went down there. He watched you get that flour shower from me while you protected her and I'm sure he noticed how you looked like Jennie hung up the stars for you when she cleaned you up so he asked what year that specific bottle was.

He asked me when he found out you were proposing and hunted that bottle down for you guys.

You really do need to treat that boy better, and you know that's saying a lot coming from me of all people. The things that kid has done for you. I bet he didn't even tell you he bought five bottles of the same year for tonight too and found ten bottles of the same year of the Rosé Dom Perignon you guys drank that night just to surprise you guys.

Which costs a fortune by the way. Especially because he had to have bought the Cristal and probably some of the Dom's from collectors who don't part with their treasures so easily so the price was probably even higher than normal.

That wasn't even the hard part either, the hard part would have been finding who owned the few Cristal's left in the world from that year because they were all probably owned by private collectors and it would have taken a lot of work even for a rich person, considering he's not even in that part of the rich world like that.

He was a brat but not the stuffy kind of brat that acted refined so my mom had to help him with her connections.

And I bet he didn't tell you he did it because he thought it would bring you good luck since those were the ones from the night you finally reconciled with Jennie.

But don't tell him I told you because it'll ruin his surprise and mostly because I still need him to be afraid of me and he can't start thinking I'm nice. So act appropriately when he brings them out for you and do not bring me into this."

"Don't worry, I don't know fancy alcohol like you do but I had a suspicion that he might have done that when he showed me the bottle. He was way too excited and he knows I don't know fancy people stuff like that or generally care about expensive things so I had a feeling it went deeper than him just being excited about gifting me a boujee bottle.

I was definitely going to thank him later when I surprised him at the reception and named him our honorary best man. I was going to let him make a toast for us too because I know he's just going to flip and look like an excited Golden Retriever so I thought I would thank him for everything he's done for us in the last twenty four hours.

I didn't realize he bought more than that one bottle though. I can't imagine how much he would have spent. I know he's flithy rich again now that he got his full inheritance back and then some now that his father is in jail and his mother didn't want to keep most of Kim's assets and gifted them to him but still. He's spent more on our wedding than we have."

"That's for sure." Jisoo said snorting. "How are you going to make it up to him? Not for the money he spent on you obviously, but for the thoughtfulness." Jisoo asked, pouring herself a glass of the champagne and smirking internally.

She did end up having that particular bottle at her wedding after all. She was going to have to snag one of the bottles for a little toast with Chaeyoung in private considering she had planned on doing that on their wedding day anyway which was part of the reason she was vouching for Kai right now because it felt like serendipity and Kai was the reason for it.

"I was going to wait for his birthday to tell him but I guess my timeline just moved up. I put him in my will to get the studio a few months back but then after everything he did for us today I kind of thought it was appropriate to go even farther than that.

He brought our people to us for our wedding and the make up artists and the outfits and went way above the simple favor that I asked of him. He deserves more praise.

He's loyal to a fault and I thought it was only right that he co-owned the studio with me now. It's not like he doesn't deserve it anyway even if he hadn't done all that stuff. I couldn't have kept it afloat without him.

He's done most of the administrative and sales stuff since I went back to school and it thrived under him. I probably would have had to shut it down for a semester and lost the momentum without him.

I don't have the mind or the patience for that side of it anyway and apparently he does despite him saying he's not smart with numbers like Jennie is because clearly that's not the case.

I asked Chaengie to ask Alice if she could do that so he'll be part owner as soon as she gets his signature. We'll be partners and split the profits fifty fifty instead of him just getting commission for his sales and the bonuses from his own work and the manager salary.

Not that he'll care. I know he'll care more about the massive plaque I ordered this morning that the Parks are picking up on the way from the airport for me that has both our names on it as owners of the studio.

And the fact I'm going to let him have the big office I used to use since I'm going to be in your building most of the time anyway. Jungkook and his guys are doing me a solid and moving his stuff for me in there as we speak and putting mine in his old office but that part I'll let him find out on his own.

He's probably going to cry when he see's the boujee nameplate I ordered for his door too."

"Aww, you do have a heart." Jisoo said mockingly. "But please don't tell him any of that when I'm there. I can't take the kind of affection he's going to give you when you tell him. It's too much, I can't deal with that many feelings." Jisoo said making a face of disgust.

"You have a heart too. And since I have to suffer you will also be suffering with me considering you're the one that told me all of this. You could have waited until after the wedding. I was just going to surprise him in private but now I gotta do it at the reception and I will be making sure to have you witness it." Lisa smirked.

"That's evil. You're annoying. Here I was coming to give you part of your wedding gift like the generous person I am. I should walk out right now." Jisoo said narrowing her eyes at Lisa. "But since I'm always the bigger person I guess I'll give it to you anyway."

"Bigger person? Yeah right." Lisa teased her. "If you're the bigger person then suddenly I'm straight."

"You're right. I'm vindictive. I'm only doing this because this is a present for Jendeukie too." Jisoo bantered back.

It wasn't really, because Jennie wouldn't really care about it too much, but she knew Lisa would love to be the bearer of good news and Jennie would be happier at the fact Lisa would be so excited to tell her than what the news actually was.

After their little conversation just now, Jisoo internally giggled at how alike Kai and Jennie were when it came to Lisa. She was going to have to tease Jennie about it later to make her baby cousin grumpy at the fact she was just like Kai in that regard.

The important thing for them wasn't the material gifts, what was important was getting her praise and approval in Kai's case, and in Jennie's case, being the reason for Lisa being happy even if it was just Lisa being happy to get to deliver good news to her.

Jisoo would never admit it out loud, especially not to Lisa but she wasn't that much different from them either.

Because not so deep down she was happy she was getting to be the one to tell their youngest family member something she's wanted to say to her for a long time but hadn't been able to just yet. Now that everything was finally completely resolved she knew Lisa would actually truly believe the words that came out of Jisoo's mouth.

She was going to finally get to tell her annoying little sister that she loved so much, because that's what she was even before but especially now that she married Chaeyoung, that she was the entire reason Jennie found a way to fight and escape her nightmare.

That she was the reason she escaped a soulless life under her father and despite giving everything up Jennie was still going to receive everything she had earned way more than her parents who had just been born with it. Lisa was the first one she was going to reveal her little surprise to. Even Chaeyoung didn't know yet.

"You said you were the reason Jennie lost her inheritance but in reality, you're the reason she just got it back. Alice sued them for everything they had once Uncle Kim went to trial again and lost on the new charges too.

She sued them both on Jennie's behalf and Jennie's getting her entire trust back and then some.

It's safe to say they're both going to die in jail considering how many years they've been sentenced for, it's not like they're in their twenties anymore so the judge decided to reserve only a hundred thousand to the both of them if they happened to reduce their sentence and got out on good behavior at some point so they'd have a cushion but that's unlikely. If they die in there that money's getting donated to charity.

I kind of loved the judge because she even told them she'd give them a chance to redeem themselves from hell or whatever they believed in and taunted them by telling them they'd get to pick the charity of their choice when they died in blue collar jail because she sure as hell wasn't sending them to the boujee ones they usually send powerful rich people to.

That's not even the best part Limario. She also said, very sarcastically and with perfect delivery I may add, which I will proudly quote, 'I'm going to stop you while you're ahead and advise you on that point before you come to me and suggest your charities because no, the boys club international, the trust fund baby organization, the gold digger real housewives of Seoul donation fund, and the nepo baby charity fund for overprivileged rightfully convicted fraud criminals do not count as a charity.'

I swear to god Lisa, that woman was my hero. I almost signed up for law school after the trial just so I could sit up there and fairly pass judgement so sarcastically on shitty people just like her eventually.

Maybe I'll go if chipmunk ever decides she wants to ever stop touring and just wants to produce music for other artists and do her own gigs just in Seoul but that probably won't happen until I'm at least like forty five because you know she's going to blow up.

She'll be selling out arenas by next year and I refuse to miss any of her shows and knowing Rosie she'll probably only take a year and a half break, if that, before going on another tour.

Anyway, I've never admired someone for their clap backs so much that they'd make me actually want to pursue their career. That woman is a god.

That judge roasted them so hard I felt like I was at a funeral. May your ego rest in peace uncle Kim, president of the failed boys club and the woman I will now always refer to as the fake housewife of Seoul from now on because we both know she didn't do shit, not even pretend shit. At least those 'real' housewives hire their maids and the people to throw their parties personally and take the credit for it. She didn't even do that.

I really don't know how that woman didn't get disbarred sooner either. I don't think she's ever even gone to court.

I'll fill you in on the trial later and all the comments the judge made but anyway my point was about what Jendeukie got out of it from that badass judge.

She now owns all of her father and the fake housewife's assets and accounts. Which is what the woman gets for lying about being her real mother and going along with signing her birth certificate. The judge took it into consideration and Alice made this insanely good argument to her.

Something about her needing to take responsibility and since she was now in jail that the responsibility to Jennie would have to be financial. That she needed to pay out emotional damages and some law jargon about how she assumed responsibility for Jennie the day she claimed her illegally and I don't know what else.

I zoned out a bit during the technical parts but I guess she said that despite not being blood related the case could be made that she technically adopted her the day she chose to write her name as her mother on a birth certificate that was by all counts officially issued.

She kind of backed her up into a corner because it was either she continue admitting to the birth certificate fraud for malignant purposes or drop a few years of her sentence on that count and plead that she'd only done it because she wanted Jennie since she couldn't have kids and reduce that part of her sentence a bit.

I honestly think it was like a landmark case or something because there wasn't really any precedent for it but Alice was so good and she completely destroyed the other guy's objections and his defense and the judge ended up siding with Alice.

So Jennie is entitled to claims to her wealth like she could with a biological or adoptive mother and now she owns all her shit!

She also has complete control of my dear uncle's charity now and you know that's going to be her favorite part because he tried stealing hers away from her. Karma's a bitch.

She'll probably find a way to turn it around and make it incredibly successful and I fully expect you to go with me to taunt my uncle in jail when she makes that happen.

She has control of all of the money that her fake mother stole from her father's charity too. The money in the account I used to trick her with so that they could trace the Cayman's account is already back in the charity she now owns.

She's getting the Cayman's money too since they tied it to that shitty excuse of a lawyer and even worse excuse for a mother because she immediately gave it up in exchange for a reduced sentence.

That money could have never seen the light of day, that's why the Cayman's and Swiss Banks are the go to for the one percenters that commit finance fraud. Idiot. They literally only shaved off three years and it won't make a dent in how long she has to be in there and if she managed to get out, she literally gave up millions of dollars for three measly years.

Anyway, Jennie will get all of it. At least what was left over because they used some of it to pay out his charity employees and the victims of his wife's fraud first so they won't be releasing it very soon.

I figured you should be the one to tell Jennie all of this because you gave her a reason to fight him when my hands were too tied to be able to truly help her. The best I could do was physically remove her from them but you helped sever the cord completely.

If it wasn't for you, it would have taken her years. Not to mention my paranoid uncle would have probably suspected my mom had told her about Scarlett eventually and all of it would go out the window anyway.

So it might have never happened and if it did Scarlett would be known as a serial killer right now because once she'd get accused no one would bother to check on her exoneration.

Thank you Limario. Seriously, you saved me from having to see my baby cousin have to suffer under her shitty father or have to suffer from the fact most of Korea would assume her sweet mother was a child killer and the abuse she would get from that would probably be way worse than what she was living even a year ago and I couldn't bear that.

You saved me and her and Rosie by extension too because you know she'd cry for the both of us because she's too empathetic."

Lisa didn't know what to say. She was on the verge of crying again for several reasons. For one, Jennie was finally getting what she rightfully deserved. She was going to do more for the world with that money than her parents ever could. Lisa knew it.

Secondly, Jisoo was paying her a compliment and actually sincerely thanking her and that in itself was sob inducing because Lisa could tell she meant it. She meant what she said and really thought that Lisa had actually helped save Jennie, Rosie, and even her.

And third, Lisa couldn't speak because she really shouldn't say anything. She knew Jisoo and the best thing Lisa could do to thank her was will the emotional tears down and nod to her in acknowledgement because she knew Jisoo would be embarrassed after going out of her way to say all of that.

So Lisa did just that, she gave her a small nod and a meaningful look passed between them and Lisa knew her thanks had been received.

She could see the slight relief in Jisoo's stance and Lisa giggled because she could tell Jisoo thought Lisa might betray her and get all sappy with her after this. Lisa was sappy after all.

She wasn't afraid to cry or be affectionate. She just didn't do that with Jisoo. Lisa had always thought Jisoo had too much to deal with already than to have to take care of Lisa's crying too.

She knew Jisoo was protective and refused to show sadness around them because since she was the oldest, she felt it was her job to be the strong one.

Lisa had always thought her job as the youngest was to not worry the unnie so much so she tried to rein it in around Jisoo when it came to their one on one dynamics. So naturally the way they showed their affection was through teasing and jokes and pranks and their 'fights.'

Lisa annoyed Jisoo on purpose all the time for that reason and she knew Jisoo teased her for the same reason too.

Lisa sent her a smirk and she knew they were back to their normal sibling bickering teasing ways now that the heavy shit was over.

"Oh, one more thing. Almost forgot. I had Alice put the yacht in your name since Jendeukie gets seasick anyway so she won't want it." Jisoo said matter of factly, showing her the certificate of ownership. "Welcome to the not so snobby elite, at least I hope. I don't know, you might let it get to your head now that you own a yacht and become entitled like the rest of them."

"You did not!" Lisa said incredulously. "I can't own a yacht. I don't even know how to sail! And this is Jennie's, not mine. Take it back. Right now." Lisa said, handing the certificate back.

"Dude, obviously there's a boat captain on the payroll idiot. You don't have to know how to sail because they do it for you. Amateur. If you're going to be in this world you're going to have to stop thinking like a poor person." Jisoo said shaking her head in faux disappointment and trying not to smirk.

"But, now that you mention it. Speaking of what isn't yours. I'm going to need you to sign this prenuptial agreement in case you fuck it up with Jendeukie and she divorces you.

I don't need you getting greedy and taking half of her stuff in retaliation after she's gone through hell and back to get it. Especially now that she just tripled her wealth. Sign the prenup saying you won't sue for her shit."

Lisa didn't hesitate and snatched the paper out of Jisoo's hand and the pen Jisoo was holding and signed it immediately and handed it back to a smirking Jisoo.

"Idiot. Think things through Limario." Jisoo said cackling, grabbing the paper from her and ripping it up, all to Lisa's confusion which only made Jisoo laugh harder. Jisoo had just been trying to bait her after all and Lisa still couldn't see her endgame. "You signed that with no hesitation."

"Of course I did!" Lisa said indignantly, feeling offended that Jisoo would really think she wouldn't sign a prenup for Jennie. "I don't want her stuff. I'm marrying her for her, not for how rich she is or how rich she will be or could be or I guess now is!"

"I know that you dumbass, but now I get to tell Jendeukie you thought you're gonna fuck up so bad that she's going to divorce you." Jisoo teased her, dropping her trump card. "Now she's going to know your whole speech about 'in every life after this' is a lie because you already expect to separate in this one."

Lisa paled.

"Wait Jisoo. Wait wait wait. That wasn't it. I wasn't even thinking about that. Don't you dare Jisoo! I only signed it so she knew I'd never want to take her money! Not cus I thought we'd actually get a divorce!"

Jisoo cackled deviously.

"I'm pretty sure I know exactly where Jendeukie's mind is going to go. Jealous Jennie is going to immediately emerge and assume you're going to get bored of her and start flirting with other girls at some point."

"Jisoo unnie pleaseeee." Lisa begged her. She really didn't need Jennie to know about this and jump to that conclusion. She knew Jisoo would just instigate it and with just one insinuation from her Lisa was going to get an earful from Jennie. And no kisses for a month.

"Unnie please don't do this to me. She's going to freak out and you know I wasn't even thinking about that. As if I'd ever willingly divorce her, you know I wouldn't do anything to make her want to divorce me either! I love her too much for that. Don't tell her. I'll do anything!"

Jisoo put the ripped up prenuptial agreement in her pocket and smirked at the fact Lisa kept eyeing her warily. She finally stopped her little charade and gave Lisa a break after that.

"Don't worry. This won't see the light of day. I promise. I was just messing with you. Also, you finally gave me the respect I deserve and called me unnie for once so I guess I'll throw you a bone and never speak of this again. Well, at least not in front of Jendeuk." Jisoo extended her hand for their sacred truce handshake and Lisa smiled in relief as she returned it.

"Jendeukie knows you're not after her money and so do I and even if the world went to shit and the impossible happened and you two actually managed to get a divorce, no one has any doubt you wouldn't ask for a penny.

Honestly I think you'd be too depressed to function and you'd probably act like you wanted half just so you could see her in the settlement meetings and keep asking for more and not settle just to drag them out until you finally declined so this is my gift to you in case that impossibility happened. You're welcome." Jisoo said smirking.

"That's actually a really good idea. I'm glad you ripped that up now." Lisa said seriously.

She'd jump off a cliff if she never got to see Jennie again if they really ever got a divorce. They would have had to enter the twilight zone for that to happen but if it did Lisa would absolutely be going through with that plan.

"Anyway, you know that to Jennie what's hers is yours, even if you weren't getting married. This is your future too. All of what she rightfully owns now is yours as well.

Congratulations Limario, you'll soon be one of us now and not just because you're marrying Jennie. You'd be entering the world you hated so much by your own success anyway.

You'll be part of the rich, privileged one percent and I'm happy you're joining us because that just added one less shitty person taking the place of two really shitty ones that belong to a powerful club of entitled people and you'll help us turn the tide.

Between Chaeyoung, Jennie, yours and my success with all the things we're doing and the resources we inherited, all of our assets are in the billions and can only grow from there if we play it smart.

I've started a conglomerate, and this isn't really the time to discuss all of that in detail but I will be proposing a merger of all of our businesses to you guys. If we joined all of our businesses between us like I hope you'll agree to doing, we're about to become chaebols.

Which means we'd have as much power as the rest of them and since none of us are shitty we'd actually be able to stomp the shitty too big to fail conglomerates just like we did with Jennie's parents and actually do good with the too much money we'll have.

We'd all have the same amount of equal power over how to redistribute our resources with the conglomerate of course but we'd all have total control of our individual stuff.

We'd all be heading our own respective companies and continue running them as we see fit. You with your studio, Rosie and the independent recording company she's starting, Jennie and her charity and anything we come up with after that.

I just wanted the four of us to be under the same brand, the same name while we take over the world with it. While you and Jennie save it with its resources and my chipmunk helps make it a little more beautiful with her music and you with your art."

"What are you gonna do?" Lisa said teasingly.

"Just like with Jennie's charity, I will also be taking the position as Chief Bullshit Officer of Blackpink Group."

"Blackpink?"

"It's the name I registered the conglomerate under." Jisoo shrugged. "It's unconventional and me and you are literally the most unconventional people I know because we give zero fucks yet we're still successful despite not subscribing to the same philosophy as the people in those stuffy parties as you like to call them.

And you know Jendeukie's favorite color is black and my chipmunk's is pink so I thought fuck it, why not honor our girls with it."

"I kind of love it. I'm also a little surprised you didn't say you're the one taking over the world for us since you probably already invested so much in this and with all of your real estate stuff you probably own half of Seoul now.

Who are you and what did you do to Kim Jisoo because the Jisoo I know would not miss a chance to praise herself and rightfully brag even if it is annoying sometimes." Lisa said a little suspiciously.

"Honestly? I only went into real estate to take care of my people. I saw an opportunity and I ended up being good at it so I did it for long enough that we could be all set and I could be in a good enough place to take care of you guys, my family.

Now that I can I'm done with dealing with that side of the business personally. I hired this woman named Lee Jieun to take over as CEO for that part of our subsidiaries.

Jieun is perfect for the job. She looks just as innocent as Jennie when she's not rolling her eyes at everybody and she gets into her baby mode as you like to call it, but she's also just as cut throat as Jennie is when she needs to be and it just works for her. Not to mention she's even blunter than me which is baffling. I trust her with it. She's even better than me at it.

Everyone underestimates her so it's incredibly easy for her to make great deals. She's the reason we basically stole that skyscraper our offices are in. We paid for what the building was worth but not its potential earnings, which is what we should have paid because we only had it for two months before I earned back what I paid for it.

It was practically stealing. I don't even think they made a very big profit selling it to me, they just paid back the cost of building it and its taxes and what the utilities were costing them when they held it since half the building was empty still and they weren't earning income.

I'm planning on exploring my interests now that my family is handled so I started a gaming company just for fun. I didn't mean to but I had so much fun with my dad's gift that I'm gonna stick with it. Games are what I'm best at anyways." Jisoo shrugged. "Guess what I named it?"

"Limario Sucks Interactive Entertainment?" Lisa said teasingly.

"Damn. Missed opportunities. Should have gone with that. No worries though. I can get into owning the porn industry too at some point and name the company Limario Sucks Interactive Entertainment. Don't worry, I'll make sure to hire directors that will actually make porn for the female gaze. I'm only branding that on the hetero films though." Jisoo said with her usual smirk.

"Please don't do that. At least credit me for the lesbian ones." Lisa said immediately.

"Lesbians don't suck though." Jisoo said smirking harder.

"They suck titties!" Lisa said indignantly.

Then she rolled her eyes at herself because she realized Jisoo had just been baiting her again and if she kept going Jennie was going to find out Lisa had said she wanted her nickname on a lesbian porn company. She needed to cut her losses now. "What'd you name your stupid gaming company?" Lisa asked defeatedly, accepting that she lost that round.

"Turtle Rabbit Games." Jisoo said with a self satisfied grin. "All of the games we develop that are food related will of course be under the Chipmunk Collection, but that's a whole other conversation."

"You're really doing it already aren't you?" Lisa asked, looking incredibly impressed. Her friends and her fiancée were all so damn talented.

"Oh yeah. I didn't mean for it to become a whole thing, it just kind of happened. I was just trying to get someone to make a game as a birthday present for my dad but I really think I found my true calling.

I pitch them ideas. My people will code them and make them pretty and design the game how I want it and I get to spend my work day playing the games they develop for me and then getting to be the ultimate game C.B.O.

It's like a dream come true. Honestly, I don't know why I didn't think of doing this sooner. Playing games and messing with my employees for fun all day long, it really is my true calling.

I hired this genius baby hacker named Ryujin, she coded the game I wanted her to do for my dad in like a month which is really unheard of because it was insanely good and it was very in depth and she mostly did the coding work all on her own.

This other girl Yeji composed the music for the game because I wanted it to be authentic, I think she used to be a pianist but was over the classical stuff so she took the offer and really liked it so she's staying on. She's really good too.

I also just hired an artist named Yuna that helped Ryujin with the graphics on my dad's game, she drew all the character renderings for this new game I thought of and she's seriously amazing."

"Who knew you were such a feminist." Lisa teased her. "An all girl gaming company. Good thing Chaengie's not the jealous type."

"I am a feminist, but really I only hired girls cus I hate men. It's time someone discriminated against them for once." Jisoo said nonchalantly.

"Don't let anyone hear you say that before your company gets sued. If anyone can win a discrimination case it's men." Lisa said seriously. "As much as I appreciate your cause."

"My dad's in tech so he can consult for me on hardware. I'll have one man at least."

"So nepotism?" Lisa teased her. "Not much better."

"I'm surprised you know such a big word Limario." Jisoo teased her back. "Not to worry though, when I interviewed the men for the jobs I just mentioned I had a girlfriend and that I was the CEO of the company and that I regularly donated to the Korean Feminist Association for Gamers, which is not a thing by the way, at least not yet because I'll end up making it a thing now that I think about it. Anyways most of them went running after that.

Especially because I'd have either Ryujin, Yeji, or Yuna walk into the room and pretend to hand me some contracts or figures and have them show the boys how smart they were in their position as they talked to me about what was supposedly in the reports they just handed me.

They're all very attractive and know what they're doing so the nerdy mostly misogynistic boys that think they're better than women just because they're smart stuttered their way through the rest of the interviews after that.

Because only the misogynistic ones made it to the end thinking they were probably going to take over for me eventually when they got hired but once they saw an attractive young woman show that they knew just as much and usually even more than them it threw them off their game and they left on their own feeling unsettled."

"You set them up." Lisa said giggling, wishing she had been there to see it. She didn't even have to declare she was impressed and she wasn't even shocked because that was exactly something Jisoo would do and she had no trouble believing Jisoo put them all in their place because it's what Jisoo did.

"They set themselves up. I gave them a fair chance and interviewed every applicant. Besides, even if I hadn't been playing fair, Alice is going to head Blackpink's official litigation team. She took the offer and you know she's a badass lawyer.

She's only lost like two cases in her career and that was solely because the idiot cops broke chain of custody or something at some point and didn't tell her, chipmunk explained it, and her evidence was inadmissible so she had nothing to go on after that and no time to prepare another defense."

"Yeah, I remember that. She was pissed. Chaengie and me spent hours on several buses and trains getting to Jeju since we couldn't get a flight because we were too broke for one in order to surprise her and get her drunk the weekend after she lost her first case ever. She was not happy her perfect record was ruined because the cops lied. I'm pretty sure she got one of them fired."

"She did, she found out he was dirty and that this hadn't been the first time he did something like that. Anyway, my point is I could probably start a security firm as a front to hire assassins or thugs to beat people up for my clients and we'd still get off squeaky clean and make it seem like it's just a private security firm that does nothing illegal with her on our side. She's that good.

Seriously. She even ended up overturning those cases she lost on appeal anyway so I guess technically she's never truly lost."

"Oh my god can we do the assassin security firm idea? Can you make me CEO of that company? I'm really good at recruiting and you have a no bullshit radar, we could totally find people that wouldn't talk."

"I know you're not afraid to punch people but I didn't think you'd get excited over assassins Limario, I'm a little impressed."

Lisa shrugged.

"The baby brat and I binge watched Couple of Mirrors the other day, that assassin chick, Yan Wei, was so cool. I kind of got sold on killing after that.

Plus, we'd only take like real cases you know. Like vigilante cases where our people would give a beating to all the sadistic financial people that ruin lives and basically terrorize the innocent to death with their imposed unfair debts or they would would kill true murderers or rapists for our clients.

You know, the real shitty people that got away with it so they need to be brought to justice some other way because those type of people always do it again and lets be real, our justice system sucks most of the time. The bad guys usually walk away scot free and the innocents pay.

Imagine if something like that existed. Jennie's dad would have taken a beating and then maybe he would have been put in his place a long time ago."

"Suddenly I'm actually considering this." Jisoo deadpanned seriously.

"Dude, consider it! I already have prospects. Jungkook could do the security side for the front. He's actually very good. He knows a lot of fighting styles and he's not temperamental so he'd be perfect for the security side of it. He'd be a great bodyguard.

There's this other guy named Yoongi that I talked to when I got booked once when I got arrested my first time and he looks like he's asleep half the time but that man would shank you and you wouldn't even see it coming or know it was him because of that. He'd only do it if you crossed him though. He has integrity. Violent integrity, but it's still integrity.

And there's this guy at my boxing gym I go to who I train with sometimes when he deigns to give us little people attention. Park Saeroyi. He's cool, he's just really serious and disillusioned with life so he doesn't trust anyone.

He's really good, he would have been a pro boxer, his life was all set but then he got arrested for beating up this dude, his sister's boyfriend, and putting him in a coma because he found out he put her in the hospital after he hit her and he lost everything.

He lost his incredibly promising career before it even started. He was supposed to be one of the greats according to everyone.

I talked to him and he eventually opened up to me and said that despite it making him lose the dream he worked so hard for he would still do it again. I bet he'd be our first employee right along with Yoongi if I can find out if he's out of prison yet for the other side of the business. The sketchy side."

"Why haven't you told me this before! I need to meet this guy." Jisoo said indignantly. "The Yoongi guy too. Maybe I wouldn't have teased you so much for being cheesy all the time if I had known you actually know interesting people. I'm going to the boxing gym with you next time and it's obviously not to go box."

"So you're down?" Lisa asked, sporting the smirk she always had when she and Jisoo were scheming together.

Jisoo didn't answer immediately and Lisa knew that meant her answer was practically a yes but that she just didn't want to vocalize it because she couldn't lie to Chaeyoung to save her life so she was trying to figure out a way to say yes without incriminating herself.

"A security firm wouldn't be too bad. We'd make bank offering bodyguards to rich people." Jisoo said noncommittally. "It's a good idea."

"Yes!" Lisa fist pumped the air, knowing Jisoo had just nonchalantly cosigned it. "We should name the company Black since the conglomerate is Blackpink. It sounds cool anyway for a security firm."

"Pink would be better, who'd suspect a group of assassins or people that taught bad people a lesson for a company named Pink?" Jisoo said, forgetting to pretend she was just supposed to be talking about security.

"That could be the gimmick Limario, we could say our company is called Pink because our people protect you so well there's nothing but sunshine and rainbows in your life. There's no way the authorities would think to look closer behind the hidden veil and see what they'd truly be doing for our clients."

"You're an evil genius." Lisa said in awe right as the door abruptly opened and both Jisoo and Lisa clamped their mouths shut, jumping a bit as they saw who it was.

"What are you two scheming about now?" Rosie asked, narrowing her eyes at them immediately because she caught what Lisa had just said and she noticed their body language and that was very much a them teaming up to do something less than wholesome considering they both looked incredibly guilty.

They were both very much unflinching unless they got caught doing something they weren't supposed to be doing. It was their tell when they were together.

Jennie and Chaeyoung tended to be more jumpy over everything but Jisoo and Lisa tended to only be jumpy when they felt guilty and the fact all Chaeyoung did was open the door and they both jumped told her everything.

Jisoo panicked as soon as Chaeyoung said that so she did damage control the best way she knew how, by riling Lisa up.

"I kidnapped your cat! He didn't run away that time, I was playing a prank on you!" Jisoo blurted out to Lisa to distract her wife because she knew that look and that was twice today she'd got caught by her so she instigated Lisa because she knew everything would escalate once she admitted that.

"You did WHAT?!" Lisa shouted immediately.

"On Jennie's birthday. Leo didn't run away. I stole him from your dorm to piss you off as a birthday present to Jennie." Jisoo confessed, and the ensuing chaos that inevitably started after that confession escalated quickly and only made Chaeyoung roll her eyes at them.

Lisa chased Jisoo, randomly grabbing a lipstick Chungha had left behind and kept yelling for Jisoo to stop so she could draw on her "stupid treacherous face."

She threw whatever was within reach of her towards Jisoo as they ran around the room and Jisoo got several throw pillows, blankets, a pencil, blank paper that clearly did nothing but make the room even more of a mess to the head from Lisa.

She almost got a plushie to the head too but Lisa grabbed it, almost threw it and then realized she couldn't throw her 'nini bear' plushie and disrespect her like that, it was too sacred to her so she set it down and chased Jisoo again and finally caught up to her.

Chaeyoung shouted for Lisa to stop before she ruined her make up because now Jisoo and Lisa were wrestling over the lipstick trying to get each other.

"Kim Jisoo are you really going to make your baby cousin wait for Lisa to fix herself if you get her with that and ruin her wedding. They'd have to do it tomorrow at this rate! And you," Chaeyoung said, turning to Lisa as she walked over to them. "Are you seriously fighting with her right now. It's your wedding day Lisa! Get it together and bicker over that another day!"

That snapped Lisa out of it. Lisa stopped fighting with Jisoo once she registered that Chaeyoung had basically just called out the fact that if they kept it up she might ruin her own wedding. She might ruin it for Jennie so she immediately dropped the lipstick.

In the end, the entire ordeal had gone in Jisoo and Lisa's favor because it had made Chaeyoung forget to ask what she had just walked into, she knew that clearly they had been up to something.

Lisa complimenting Jisoo and calling her an evil genius was enough to rouse suspicion. They usually only paid each other compliments when they were up to something together.

And when they were up to something together it always meant trouble. She and Jennie always had to keep their eyes on them on the rare occasions when they weren't being children and fighting because those two together were menaces.

Yet they had somehow managed to successfully distract her with their little fight and she forgot how the whole thing even started for the time being.

Jisoo walked to Chaeyoung and kissed her on the lips.

"I love you baby. Sorry. Gotta go. I need to go to Jendukie. I'm being an awful maid of honor right now." Jisoo said hastily because now it was twice that she was caught red handed. She couldn't be in the same room as Rosie or she'd get something out of her. She needed to be there for Jennie anyway.

She hoped that Rosie would just forget to ask what all her shenanigans today had been about. There was the wedding, the reception, and hopefully them celebrating their own secret wedding tonight intimately. Jisoo was planning on a very special wedding night tonight so she thought she might have finally won a round for once and Rosie wouldn't press.

__________

Kai took his flower boy job very, very seriously so he had spent most of the time while the rest of the wedding party and the brides got ready gathering flower petals.

He made sure to ask the monks if it was wrong to do that, they were on a mountain after all, so he couldn't really go to a flower shop and make it back for the wedding in time so he picked from their garden with their blessing. All they asked was that if he picked their flowers he would pay it forward in some way for taking a living thing.

Kai promised them that he'd plant a flower garden for his mother since he was taking them and they let him take as much as he wanted.

Felix helped him and once they had enough flower petals they got to work doing the other thing Kai wanted to do, making a bouquet for Jennie.

Kai nervously knocked on Jennie's door holding a bouquet of mostly lotus flowers once they were done.

Jisoo opened it and raised an eyebrow at him.

"Do you—uh—do you think I could talk to Jennie for a minute?"

Jisoo couldn't help the smirk that came because Kai looked like he wanted to jump off the mountain but was forcing himself to stay put.

"Jendeukie my bat is in the closet in case you need to use it on someone." Jisoo turned and shouted.

"What?" Was the confused reply coming from Jennie in the other room.

"God she has a bat?" Kai asked nervously. "Maybe I shouldn't do this." He muttered to himself.

"I'm kidding dude. You won't be taking a bat to the face, at least not today. Come grab me when you're done because Jendeukie can't be left alone for more than thirty seconds until the wedding starts or she'll cry and ruin her makeup before Lisa sees her and then she'll be grumpy and torch my bed for being a bad maid of honor."

"Got it."

Jisoo walked out of the room and Kai nervously walked in.

"Chu, Chu! Where are you?!" Jennie said, panicking when she didn't hear a response. "Did you seriously just leave me alone again you jerk?! You had a good excuse before but not anymore! You know I'm panicking right now!"

Jennie came out looking frantic and paused when she saw a nervous looking Kai holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Hey." Kai said, shifting in his spot. "Um. Sorry. Jisoo will be right back, I'll fetch her for you right after this I promise. I just wanted to give you this? I made it myself. Well, Felix helped because he's got a good eye for pretty things."

Jennie raised an unimpressed eyebrow at him for his last statement.

"Not me! I didn't mean I was the pretty thing. I meant, like other stuff. That's not what I meant. It's just, since I get to be the flower boy—thanks for that by the way.

I know you forgave me for everything already but it's an honor to be in your wedding. I can't believe I get to get included, especially after everything I did to hurt you. It honestly means a lot. Sorry. I'm rambling, I think bestie is rubbing off on me." Kai joked nervously.

"Anyway, besides me wanting to thank you for letting me be a part of it I wanted to give you this. I know you. Despite us not being close for the longest time, not since high school, I still know you.

I know that the main reason you're marrying Lisa today is because you love Lisa so much that you wanted to honor her traditions. I know you wanted it to be in Thailand, for her. I know it wasn't just because you're an incredibly impatient person. I know that's not the whole reason you wanted it to be today.

I know you so it wouldn't have been hard to guess you would do this anyway, but thanks to Bambam I also know that you went to him as soon as Jisoo told you Lisa might propose and you asked him about Lisa's beliefs.

I know you asked him what a Thai Buddhist wedding would be like for her and he told you about how usually a monk or someone in the Buddhist tradition helps find an auspicious date for the couple to get married on and I know he went with you to talk to someone about you and Lisa and today just so happens to be the date they gave you.

I only know that part because he couldn't help laughing at the fact that Lisa just happened to propose to you yesterday so he told me about it. About how unlikely the odds were that she would propose right before, right on time for you guys to be able to marry on that auspicious day.

We both agreed that you guys truly are soulmates, once we were done being baffled at the timing. It was clear to the both of us that none of that was a coincidence. It must have happened that way for a reason.

I know you went to find the date to get married on if she ever asked because the symbolism matters to you because it matters to her.

So I made sure to make a meaningful bouquet for you to hold. The lotus flower is the most significant flower in Buddhism apparently. They said it was because the lotus flower thrives in spite of its surroundings and that's what Buddha encourages all sentient beings to be like.

I didn't know that. I learned that today. I just happened to ask the monks about why they planted those flowers because it was clear it was their favorite since they had so many and one of them told me about it and I thought, well, that's always been you hasn't it. You're just like a lotus flower.

You had to deal with your father, with being apart from Lisa, with my bullshit and an almost engagement with me that literally almost broke you but you still pushed through, with the fact your mother never showed she loved you and now we know why, with the fact you were robbed of a true mother because of a stupid disease and yet you still thrived despite all of that, despite the fact you've gone through more crap than most people have in a lifetime.

You're a lotus flower Jennie. So I thought I'd make you a bouquet of lotus flowers for your wedding. Because that's who you are and that's what yours and Lisa's relationship is too.

You guys thrive despite all of the bullshit you've had to go through to be together and I thought maybe you and Lisa would appreciate the symbolism. It's yours, if you want it?" Kai said, holding the bouquet out tentatively. "I don't know if it's pretty enough for you but like I said Felix has an eye for these things and I think he was totally right about the tan and purple colors of the flowers complimenting your dress and—"

Jennie ignored the bouquet. She cut Kai off because for the first time in years she willingly hugged him just because she wanted to and not because she was forced to and not because she pitied him.

She truly just wanted to hug him for everything he had done for them because it was clear he was attentive to even the smallest detail for their wedding because he cared for the both of them and not just because he wanted to apologize for being shitty for so many years.

"You're really back." Jennie whispered as Kai returned the hug. "The little king I used to know that used to be my best friend is actually back." Jennie said, using Kai's mom's old nickname for him.

"I'm sorry it took me so long." Kai said in apology, hugging Jennie tighter. "Can we be best friends again?"

"No. Jisoo's my best friend." Jennie said with a teasing smile as she pulled away from the hug.

She only did it because Lisa did this with him all the time and she had always hated the fact she thought their dynamic was really cute because she resented Kai back then but now she wanted to play too.

"She's your cousin, she can't be your best friend." Kai complained. "She's family."

"Wifey is my best friend then." Jennie said, trying to hold back the giggles because of the immediate affronted look Kai gave her.

"Ugh! Why is it always Rosie?!" Kai said indignantly, throwing his hands up in frustration. "It's not like I could ever beat her, she's too nice! She's like a literal angel. How am I supposed to compete with that!"

Jennie couldn't help the giggles after that. They took over and she almost started crying she was laughing so hard because Kai kept pouting and looking like a toddler who just got grounded from their favorite toy. Jennie finally put him out of his misery once she calmed down enough.

"You'll have to work for it, but you can be my best friend again. I'll steal you away from Lisa." Jennie told him.

"What about Jisoo and Rosie?" Kai asked warily, feeling like it was a trick.

"It's like you said, they're family." Jennie shrugged simply. "They don't need that title because they mean so much more to me than just a mere best friend."

"I really don't know how you managed to make me really happy and then crush my soul all within seconds." Kai deadpanned with a straight face. "You and Lisa really have a gift for that."

Jennie sucked her lips in to keep from laughing again, suddenly realizing what she just said and how that sounded but she couldn't help it. She let it out and they both started cackling.

"I'm so sorry. I really was trying to make it a sweet moment and give you validation but I guess I just made it worse didn't I?" Jennie said through her laughter once she caught her breath enough to talk.

"Yeah, you fucked that up, now I feel even worse." Kai said, laughing too. "Great, now I'm just a mere best friend. I just can't get a win can I? I'm just as bad as Lisa trying to win a bet." Kai joked and it only made Jennie giggle harder.

They continued laughing about the whole situation and Kai finally felt a heavy weight lift off his shoulders.

He suddenly got flashbacks to a tiny Jennie giggling with him in his tree house after doing a reading session. Jennie would bring books to try to teach him how to read and his mother would bring them ice cream and cookies at some point and Jennie would always forget the lesson when that happened and immediately attack the ice cream and finish the tub all by herself.

It never failed. Then she'd look at him guiltily and ask if he wanted some when there was literally nothing left and they'd fall into a fit of giggles because Jennie was so ice cream obsessed she inevitably would never fail to forget to share.

"I love you Jennie." Kai admitted to her, getting serious for a moment because he felt like it needed to be said. "You saved me just as much as Lisa did and I don't think you understand how happy I am that you two found each other.

I know this is making it about me right now but it makes me feel like the universe is forgiving me for everything I did to you and all the mistakes I made with both of you since you're both getting your happily ever after now. I don't know how to thank you guys for letting me in and giving me another chance. I love you both."

"Make sure to make Lisa the flower girl at your future wedding with Felix for my own entertainment, and you have to make me the best man since we're best friends again." Jennie said with a smile.

Kai hadn't seen that smile directed at him in a long, long time and in that moment he knew Jennie was saying I love you too to him, in her own way.

"I don't know if I'd get lucky enough to marry Felix eventually," Kai said through a blush, once he got over the fact Jennie had actually truly accepted him again, that she hadn't just forgiven him but basically admitted to him that she wanted to be in his life too.

"Oh trust me, he will. Rosie knows everything." Jennie said to him.

"What do you mean?"

"She's like, tapped into the universe. She called me and Lisa getting together. They tried to set us up back then because Rosie thought we were perfect for each other and it took way too many years for us to get here but she was right.

She's called you and Felix too so I have no doubt you'll end up married."

"Okay but you and Lisa were obvious." Kai pointed out, blushing again at the thought of marrying Felix.

"She's also called Seulgi and Irene and said they'll end up married and she was right about that too because I guess with all the proposals going around lately I guess Seulgi started thinking about it and I overheard her talking to Lisa about the fact she didn't believe in marriage until Irene but that she'd be afraid to propose to her when the time came since Irene's first marriage didn't end well and she didn't want to get rejected.

She even called Jessi and Jackson. I didn't even know they were dating until today but Rosie casually mentioned at the party that they would probably end up dating if they talked to each other so I really shouldn't be surprised." Jennie retorted and Kai really had no comeback for that.

"Stupid mind reader." Kai and Jennie both said in unison, imitating Lisa and they both started cackling again.

Kind of a resolution filler chapter but I hope you still enjoyed it.

Might have accidentally convinced myself to do a spinoff of Lisoo's PinkCorp shenanigans while hiding it from their wives, what do we think? 💀

Anyway I'm halfway through editing the next chapter so hopefully I'll have it out by the time you read this!
