Fake Dating... or is it real?

As promised, Lisa picked Jennie up outside her classroom right before lunch.

"Okay stalker, how did you even know where I would be?" Jennie asked Lisa, unsure of how Lisa knew her class schedule.

Lisa ignored her, grabbing her bag to carry it for her again and then taking Jennie's hand as she led them to the entrance of the quad.

When it wasn't raining or snowing there were usually food trucks parked for the students to get food if they didn't want to go to the cafeteria. There were a lot of food trucks to choose from because most students much preferred the food trucks over the cafeteria food and the quad was usually flooded with students waiting for them.

"What do you want to eat?" Lisa asked Jennie.

Jennie shrugged. "Whatever you want is fine."

"Okay, how bout bulgogi?" Lisa suggested.

"No." Jennie answered without hesitation. Not feeling it.

"Okay, sushi?"

"I had sushi yesterday."

"Pizza?"

"I don't like pizza."

"Cheeseburger?"

"Are you trying to make me fat?" Jennie accused.

"Tteokbokki?"

Jennie hummed, thinking about it. Lisa looked on hopefully.

"No." Jennie finally decided.

Lisa huffed.

"Kimbap then?"

"That's practically sushi Lisa!"

"Mandu? Nevermind." Lisa added hastily. "That's like cannibalism since you are a mandu." Lisa muttered to herself, thinking of Jennie's dumpling cheeks. "Ramyun then?"

"You really are trying to make me fat, that's been your plan all along hasn't it?" Jennie said accusingly, with narrowed eyes at Lisa.

"Insufferable." Lisa mumbled under her breath. Did she not just say whatever Lisa wanted to eat was fine?

"I heard that." Jennie said, glaring.

"Fine, Kimchi pancake?"

"That sounds good, but it won't fill me up." Jennie said, pouting.

Lisa almost facepalmed.

"Do you like Thai food?"

"I don't know, I've never tried it."

Lisa nodded once and led Jennie to one of the food trucks, ordering a kimchi pancake before going to Bambam's food truck.

"Sup Bam."

"Oh look it's Lisa, my favorite non-paying customer is here." Bambam joked.

Lisa rolled her eyes and pulled out her wallet, handing him a bunch of bills.

"I forgot my wallet once. Let it go dude."

"Three times, and put that away. Those were on the house." Bambam ordered, ignoring the bills Lisa was handing to him.

Lisa put the money in the tip jar anyway. Her pride stung.

"You're so stubborn." Bambam noted. "Your usual then?"

"Yes, and an order of Chicken Satay, Pad Thai and Tom Yum Soup." Lisa ordered before looking at Jennie, "You like soup right?"

Jennie nodded.

"Did you get roped into feeding Rosie again?" Bambam asked, chuckling at the amount of food Lisa had ordered.

"No, she'll be there too but I'm feeding this baby brat and I don't know what she likes. She's a health freak so make sure to add lots of vegetables and lean meat and shit." Lisa added.

Jennie was about to protest towards Lisa for calling her a baby brat again but their order was called right at that second from the other food truck so she went to pick up the kimchi pancake for them.

Bambam whipped up their order quickly and handed it over to Lisa, smirking.

"You sure got over Suzy quick."

"Shut up." Lisa mumbled, she couldn't really argue with him. Not now that Jennie and her were technically supposed to be girlfriends. She couldn't risk exposing their fake relationship even if it was just with Bam.

"She's hot. Suzy was really hot too but I think Jennie is more your type. I think you like the innocent looking ones more."

"How did you even know that was Jennie?"

"Please Lis. You complain about her almost daily. You really think I wouldn't guess that the angry kitten, the ice queen, the baby brat, and Jennie wasn't the same person?"

Lisa was about to argue with him but Jennie was at her side a second later, handing Bambam her credit card to pay for the food.

Lisa snatched it away.

"What the hell Lis." Jennie said glaring at her again and trying to grab the card from her.

"I'm paying." Lisa said, lifting the card up in the air so Jennie couldn't reach it.

"You already paid for the kimchi."

"I'm paying for this too."

"No you're not."

"Yes I am."

"Lisa." Jennie said sternly.

"Jennie." Lisa echoed, mocking her.

Bambam interrupted them.

"It's on the house."

"Bam." Lisa tried to protest again.

"Please, you're holding up the line with your bickering. I'll make more money getting you two out of the way than letting you guys pay for the food you ordered." Bambam joked.

He hardly let Lisa pay for her food anyway, he considered her like a little sister and he was just glad she was over Suzy and dating again. He could tell she had been devastated for the last few months. The least he could do was treat his honorary little sister and her new girlfriend to some of his Thai food.

Lisa took her wallet out and put more money in the tip jar just as Jennie was doing the same since Bambam refused to take their money.

Bambam muttered under his breath as he watched them do it, "A match made in heaven, really."

"See you later Bam."

Lisa took Jennie's hand and led them to their usual picnic table. Jisoo and Chaeyoung were already there and they both unconsciously slowed down when they spotted them.

"You think we can really pull this off?" Lisa asked, unconsciously squeezing Jennie's hand a little harder.

"Nope." Jennie admitted.

Lisa tried to turn around so she could run away before they saw them but Jennie squeezed Lisa's hand too and pulled her back. Making Lisa face her.

"How am I supposed to have faith in you if you quit every time?" Jennie scolded her. "It's going to get way harder than this!"

"Did you just trick me?" Lisa asked her grumpily. "Were you testing me just now?"

"This is your last chance Lisa. Either you're in or you're out. I'm not dealing with your trust and commitment issues. You need to be sure you can really do this without quitting when it gets hard."

"I don't have commi—"

"In or out Lisa?" Jennie said sternly, cutting her off.

"In! I'm all in okay."

"I'm trusting you. Don't let me down because I will murder you in your sleep. Actually, I'd rather you be awake so you suffer more." Jennie said mockingly.

"Ah, there's the angry kitten I know. I thought you might have gotten abducted there for a second."

Jennie smacked her.

"Be serious!" Jennie scolded her again.

"You be serious! You can't keep hitting me, I'm supposed to be your girlfriend now!"

Jennie huffed. "Why! Why her of all people?" Jennie asked the sky pleadingly.

Lisa couldn't help the smile on her face. Exasperated Jennie always boosted her mood. Frustrated Jennie was like free serotonin for Lisa.

"Come on, girlfriend. Let's see if we can lie to our friends." Lisa finally said.

They both sat down at the picnic table. Lisa laid the food out and Chaeyoung immediately perked up.

"You went to Bambam's?" the blonde asked excitedly. She loved Bambam's food truck, he wasn't always parked at the quad during lunchtime because his food was super popular and he parked in other places sometimes so she hadn't had it in a while.

"I did, I'm guessing he sent extra helpings since he knew I'd be having lunch with you." Lisa said chuckling a bit as she noticed he had doubled her food order. She was going to have to tip him again for that.

Jisoo narrowed her eyes suspiciously because unlike Chaeyoung, who had been distracted by the food, Jisoo had noticed Jennie and Lisa had come together. Jennie was quietly helping Lisa open everything and Jisoo's curiosity peaked even higher because they had gone a full thirty seconds without arguing yet not to mention the fact they were currently helping each other.

"What are you two doing?" Jisoo asked them in a tone that left both of them feeling caught.

Jennie and Lisa both froze for a second.

"Getting ready to eat, obviously." Lisa said in response.

"But you're not arguing, and since when do you like Thai food Jendeuk?" Jisoo asked Jennie.

Jisoo knew there was no way they had both just coincidentally gone to the same food truck and happened to walk back together. Jennie hadn't ever touched Thai food in her life as far as Jisoo knew. Something was going on and Jisoo was going to find out what.

Chaeyoung finally snapped out of her food induced daze and looked up too, noticing there was something odd going on with their friends as well.

Jennie imperceptibly nodded towards Lisa and Lisa got the hint. This was it. If they couldn't fool their friends it was all over. Time to put on a show.

Lisa reached for Jennie's hand, interlacing their fingers together again and then setting their joined hands on the table so they could see it.

"The fuck?" Jisoo said bewildered, on full alert because she was so sure Jennie was about to punch Lisa in the face for daring to touch her. Jisoo had to fight the urge not to jump over the table and separate them before they got into a fight.

"Jennie and I are dating." Lisa blurted out. "She's my girlfriend now."

Chaeyoung and Jisoo's jaws both dropped in shock.

"Excuse me?" Jisoo asked incredulously, looking between the two, still waiting for Jennie to punch Lisa. She was so sure it was coming now that Lisa had claimed that.

Chaeyoung just looked at them curiously after she recovered, taking in the scene before her, reading her friends' body language.

Jennie and Lisa shifted nervously under their gaze.

Jisoo came to her senses seconds later and snorted, realizing a little belatedly what was probably happening.

"Oh god. I almost had a heart attack." Jisoo said laughing. "I really thought you would beat each other up at first."

Jennie and Lisa looked at each other, confused over Jisoo's reaction.

"What's going on?" Lisa whispered under her breath to Jennie as she watched Jisoo fall farther into a fit of laughter.

"No idea. Don't ask me what goes on in Jisoo's head. It's a mystery. I don't even think Rosie knows." Jennie murmured back, watching her cousin lose it too, she was cackling at this point.

Jisoo finally got it together enough to speak again. "Of course you two would only come together in order to try to prank us. I almost fell for it for a second. Girlfriend? Please." Jisoo said, laughing again.

"It's not a prank Chu. We're actually together. We made it official this morning." Jennie said, backing up Lisa.

"As if. You two hate each other. I don't even know how you can stand holding hands right now." Jisoo said, rolling her eyes and helping herself to a skewer of chicken that Lisa had brought from Bambam's food truck.

Chaeyoung tweaked her head, observing the two in front of her. Something seemed different between them but she couldn't quite put her finger on it yet.

Lisa started squirming in her seat because Chaeyoung was paying much closer attention to them now and she was the one they really needed to convince. Chaeyoung was hard to fool when it came to feelings. If the blonde accepted them then Jisoo eventually would too.

"You two look really cute together actually." Chaeyoung said, probing. "You just fit."

Chaeyoung smiled as she watched them both blush. Chaeyoung's eyes snapped to their joined hands and she watched as they squeezed each other's hand reassuringly. Something was definitely different between them, Chaeyoung thought. She smiled harder as she watched them almost lean into each other.

"Thanks." Lisa mumbled, avoiding her best friend's eyes.

Jennie couldn't trust herself to say anything so she chose to stay silent, squeezing Lisa's hand back.

"Chipmunk, you can't be serious, they're obviously lying." Jisoo intervened, still munching on her chicken.

Chaeyoung obviously knew they were lying about something. She just wasn't sure what it was they were lying about yet. The idea that Jennie and Lisa would start to date each other wasn't so far fetched to her though. She had always thought there was an attraction between the two. They fought way too much for there not to be. Chaeyoung had always assumed they fought because of all the pent up sexual tension they had between them. Not to mention the fact they were always so in tune with each other, even if they just passed it off as arguing.

They both pretended to hate each other but Chaeyoung knew they really cared for each other deep down. Their actions spoke volumes. Chaeyoung had found out that Lisa had deleted pictures from a kid's camera in order to spare Jennie from humiliation from Kai's cheating and Jennie often nonchalantly asked about Lisa when Chaeyoung went to visit them at Jisoo and Jennie's apartment and even though she insulted Lisa all the time when she asked about her, Chaeyoung knew Jennie was just trying to figure out if Lisa wasn't doing something stupid enough that would get herself in trouble or hurt.

"They've always liked each other babe." Chaeyoung ventured to tell Jisoo, fully believing her statement. She had analyzed the two's body language and their history enough to know it was true and the girls in front of her squirmed even more. Chaeyoung fought the urge to giggle, knowing what she said was right. "They just didn't know how to tell each other so they resorted to bullying one another. I guess they finally figured it out?" She finished, looking to the girls again.

"Please, I haven't even heard them say one nice thing to each other ever since they met. Not once. All they do is talk trash to one another. You really expect me to believe this whole time they've only been arguing because they've had a crush on each other? What is this, first grade?" Jisoo countered, grabbing another skewer of chicken.

Jisoo usually trusted her girlfriend with matters of the heart but this one was just way too far fetched. Jennie and Lisa couldn't go more than two seconds without insulting each other ever since that time Jennie had apparently cut Lisa off in a parking lot and Lisa said everything Jennie couldn't stand about being rich to her.

Jisoo vaguely started wondering if her girlfriend was in on this whole prank thing too. Maybe they were all trying to gang up on her and prank her to see if she would believe it. Jisoo shook her head, no way she was falling for it.

"Yes we have, we've totally said nice things. We've complimented each other before. I've called Jennie hot lots of times." Lisa intervened.

"Yeah, hot tempered." Jisoo deadpanned.

Lisa deflated, feeling caught again because she really did think Jennie had a temper and she didn't doubt she had said that to her cousin at least once before.

"I've said nice things about Lisa too. Like the fact that she smiles a lot. Remember? I told you it was nice that she's always super happy all the time." Jennie said, jumping in too, noticing how Lisa had given up on her argument.

"That wasn't a compliment Jendeuk, you said she smiles a lot because there's probably nothing going on in her little pea brain and that she's too dense to do anything else and that it must be nice to be that ignorant. That's literally a direct quote." Jisoo finished.

Jennie deflated too. She really had said that, verbatim. This was going to be harder than she thought. Lisa squeezed her hand to get her attention and Jennie looked at her. Lisa had a question in her eyes and Jennie was a little scared at what it might be because she was looking at Jennie a little too intensely right now.

Lisa didn't wait for an answer though. It was now or never. Jennie had asked if she was in or out. Lisa had promised to be all in even when it got hard and Lisa saw only one way to possibly convince their friends.

Lisa slowly leaned over and paused for a second, making sure to give Jennie enough time to move away if she didn't want Lisa to. Jennie stayed in place so Lisa pecked Jennie on the cheek, making sure to press her lips to her fully and leave them there for a little longer than might have been necessary. She pulled away and kissed Jennie on the cheek again, but this time she made sure to just barely kiss the corner of her mouth, capturing the edge of Jennie's lips.

Jennie's eyes widened. Her cheek and her lips were tingling despite the fact Lisa hadn't actually kissed her fully on the lips. She looked to Lisa, completely ignoring her friends' reaction. Jennie felt nervous all of a sudden.

Lisa's lips tingled from the kiss too, Jennie's skin was super soft. Those dumpling cheeks were just a little too kissable. She almost forgot why she had kissed Jennie in the first place until she heard Jisoo sputtering, almost choking on her food after witnessing it.

Jisoo actually spit her food out in reaction when she watched Lisa lean in for a second kiss and Jennie still hadn't slapped her over it. She rubbed her eyes to make sure she had seen that right.

"Is this the twilight zone? Am I hallucinating?" Jisoo asked her girlfriend frantically. "Did that just happen?"

Chaeyoung was just smiling softly at her friends in front of her. Whatever was going on, there was no denying the reaction Jennie had to Lisa's innocent kisses. Jennie was actually blushing and Lisa looked like she was fighting a blush herself. The chemistry was undeniable. Chaeyoung knew she had been right all along, her best friend was so into her girlfriend's cousin and Jennie liked Lisa too.

"I don't think you are." Chaeyoung answered Jisoo. "That definitely just happened."

"I can't do this right now. I need to go wash my eyes out. See you after class babe." Jisoo said, pecking Chaeyoung's lips quickly as she said goodbye. "You two, stop freaking me out. I have a test tomorrow that I need to study for. This is too much stress." Jisoo added as she walked away from their table in a daze.

"I don't know what's really going on here. I feel like you guys are definitely hiding something, but I really hope you really are working things out because I've always thought there was something there." Chaeyoung said before getting up and putting some leftovers in a plate to take to Jisoo because Chaeyoung didn't think she had eaten enough. "You have too much chemistry not to give yourselves a chance." She finished, intending to follow after Jisoo.

"I'll see you at the dorm tonight Lis." Chaeyoung said, squeezing Lisa's shoulder fondly. "Bye Jennie."

Jennie and Lisa were left sitting there, a little shell shocked after Chaeyoung left too. Neither of them really knew what to say because their friends reactions were simultaneously exactly and not exactly what they had expected.

Lisa finally broke the silence.

"Do you think they bought it?"

"Not yet? But that went better than I thought it would." Jennie managed to say. She was still a little out of it after the kisses.

"Right. I thought they would see right through us. Especially Rosie." Lisa agreed, feeling a little out of it herself.

"I guess she's not as perceptive as we thought?" Jennie offered.

"I guess so huh." Lisa said in a daze. "I can't believe she really thinks we have chemistry." Lisa tried to joke halfheartedly, feeling a little awkward for addressing what Chaeyoung had just said.

"Right." Jennie said as she laughed a little disconcertedly. "Maybe I should stop going to her for advice now that I know she isn't all knowing about feelings after all." Jennie added because the fact that Chaeyoung had actually thought Lisa and her liked each other was a little too unsettling. As if.

"Me too. Maybe I've had too much faith in her after all." Lisa said, forcing a chuckle.

"Maybe we're just really good actresses?" Jennie suggested.

"Right. That's probably it."

They ate the rest of their meal mostly in silence.

Lisa was painfully aware of Jennie sitting next to her. She almost got up and sat across from her but then that might be worse because they would probably accidentally make eye contact at some point and Lisa wasn't sure she could handle that at the moment so she stayed put.

Still, Lisa couldn't help but watch Jennie eat from the corner of her eye, trying to figure out if Jennie liked any of the Thai food she had picked out for her.

Lisa noticed Jennie seemed to keep eating helpings of everything so Lisa finally found her voice again.

"So I guess you do like Thai food after all?" Lisa asked Jennie tentatively.

Jennie hummed, "Yeah. It's really good." Jennie said as she ate another spoonful of the soup and ate some of the noodles from the Pad Thai afterwards.

Lisa smiled, feeling a little too self satisfied at having guessed Jennie's taste correctly for some reason.

Lisa dug in a little more vigorously into the food after that, placing a chicken skewer on Jennie's plate absentmindedly.

"Try this too." Lisa said.

Jennie was glad Lisa didn't look at her directly because she was sure she might be blushing again at the gesture.

Jennie shook it off. She was probably only flustered just because this was the longest time they had ever gone without arguing since they've met. It was just too new and weird so Jennie was flushed. That's all.

_______

They had their first test as a couple a few days later. Thankfully Lisa and Jennie had been able to avoid their roommates successfully because their friends had gone on their usual date night and Jisoo had a test coming up and Chaeyoung had a performance to prepare for so there had been no time for them to question Jennie and Lisa after their revelation of being each other's girlfriends during their lunch on Monday.

They had all been too busy all week so every time any of them got home they went straight to sleep, feeling a little too exhausted to be able to interact with each other.

Jennie texted Lisa on Wednesday.

Lisa had finally saved her number.

Baby Brat

We have to go shopping for Friday. I need to get your outfit.

You weren't actually serious about that were you?

Baby Brat

Of course I was. I'm always serious.

I'm not letting you buy my clothes!

Baby Brat

And I'm not letting you show up in sweats!

I own more clothes than sweats you know.

Baby Brat

Yeah, I'm well aware that your wardrobe consists of cargo pants, beanies, bucket hats, and oversized t-shirts. None of those are suitable for a charity event Lisa.

If I didn't know any better I'd think you're the one stalking me after all.

Baby Brat

Please. I just can't bear your awful fashion sense. It's hard not to notice it.

Sorry I'm not loaded like you and can't afford brand names.

Baby Brat

You're really starting to annoy me, it's not all about money you know. I don't care about brand names.

Says the rich girl. I don't think I've ever seen you in anything that isn't Chanel.

Baby Brat

As if you would know the difference.

Snob.

Baby Brat

Slob.

You're just mad I don't have to drop thousands of dollars on clothes like you do and still look hot

Baby Brat

I don't.

Yeah right.

Baby Brat

I'm serious. I don't look this good all the time because I spend my money on expensive clothes. I just have taste. Unlike you.

Right. I'm so sure. I bet you'd have a heart attack if I wore anything under a couple hundred dollars for each piece of clothing I wear for the charity thing.

Baby Brat

I can make you look as good as me in under a hundred dollars. I bet you wouldn't even know the difference between expensive brand names and what I buy you.

Prove it

Baby Brat

Fine.

Fine.

Baby Brat

I'll pick you up in twenty.

Lisa rolled her eyes. Great, now she had to go shopping with the bougiest girl in their school. She really should have thought twice about agreeing to their arrangement.

________

Lisa heard a honk outside of her dorm and the buzz of her phone at the same time.

Baby Brat

I said twenty minutes. Where are you?

Lisa resisted the urge to roll her eyes again. Did Jennie really expect her to be waiting outside for her? Lisa looked at the clock. She was a little impressed that Jennie had basically made it there in exactly twenty minutes on the dot.

Lisa walked down the stairs and opened the door to Jennie's Audi. She tried not to look too impressed as she looked at the interior, it was a beautiful car after all. Lisa liked cars and she'd never been in one that was so expensive before. The interior was just as beautiful as the outside.

Jennie had noticed Lisa's expression as soon as she walked out of her dorm. Jennie's windows were really tinted so Lisa couldn't tell that Jennie had watched her pause at the bottom of the stairs, catching Lisa admiring her car in awe.

Jennie had pretended to be busy with her phone as soon as Lisa reached to open the door so Lisa wouldn't know that Jennie had watched her.

Jennie put her phone down once Lisa was in the car and drove them to a vintage shop she had found her freshman year of college. Jennie liked shopping. She didn't care if the clothes were brand name or not, whether they cost a dollar or a thousand, though she refrained from dropping that much money on clothing if she could help it, despite being rich.

Jennie was just obsessed with being able to change her appearance, it was like she could be a different person every time she changed into an outfit so it had been one of her hobbies to find hole in the wall places to find her clothes.

She was immediately greeted by the owner as they walked in. She was close friends with him by now. They were the same age and Jennie was impressed at the fact he had worked his way up from selling clothes online to having a whole store of his own. He collected everything himself and Jennie loved his taste in fashion. They had bonded over it.

"Tae!" Jennie said giggling as she hugged him.

"You've been neglecting me." Taehyung scolded faux sternly.

"Sorry, school has been hectic."

"Or you went over to the dark side?" Taehyung teased.

"I would never. I'd choose you over any other brand any day."

"Except Chanel."

Jennie smiled sheepishly. "It's my only vice!"

"I know I know." Taehyung said, rolling his eyes playfully. "What are you here for, another one of your father's events?"

Jennie pouted. "Yeah, I can't believe I still have another year and a half before I can stop being forced to attend those stupid parties."

"As much as I hate you suffering at the hands of the snobby elite, I'm almost happy he makes you show up to every single one. You keep me in business all on your own." Taehyung said chuckling.

"It's not like I wouldn't come back! You still have to dress me for graduation and med school and if the non profit actually takes off I'll need a whole wardrobe so stop sending me bad luck with my father. I'll always come back here even if I don't have to go to those things anymore."

Taehyung raised his hands in surrender, smirking.

"Anyway, I'm not here for me this time. What do you have that might match the dress I bought from you last time. She's going to be my date." Jennie said, gesturing towards Lisa.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow in question.

"Don't ask." Jennie said sharply.

Taehyung knew about her forced relationship with Kai. Jennie always forced Kai to buy whatever he wanted first at whatever expensive store he went to so she could show Tae and he would find a way to make them match.

Jennie wasn't ashamed at the fact she always bought her dresses from Taehyung with her father's black card. He was much cheaper than the designer brands her father expected her to wear. Jennie always bought her clothes from Taehyung ever since she found his store. The first time she had come she had bought a fifty dollar dress and tipped Taehyung another thousand dollars because that's the amount her father had expected her to spend anyway and Jennie figured she should use the money for a good cause. Taehyung had tried to refuse it, figuring it was a mistake but Jennie ignored him.

She kept coming back, tipping him the same amount each time and eventually they sat down and Jennie explained her situation to him.

They had a standing deal now. Jennie always tipped him the same massive amount and Taehyung had begun donating to the non profit he had found out Jennie had created out of gratitude.

Jennie didn't realize who the anonymous donor was that kept donating huge amounts until she caught Tae donating his entire tip one day when she had come looking for an outfit for her father's birthday party.

She had scolded him and they got into an argument but eventually Jennie relented because Taehyung had given her this speech about how grateful he was to her and how she had been the one to have saved him from bankruptcy because his business wasn't doing very well until she showed up. She had given him the income to get back on his feet and his business was now thriving thanks to her and he was adamant that the least he could do was help Jennie with her non profit.

Lisa was absentmindedly listening to the whole conversation but didn't say, anything, instead she was roaming around the store curiously. She looked at the price tags, the clothes were nice so she fully expected them to be ridiculously overpriced but barring a few items that seemed to be vintage brand name, she realized she could actually afford most of the things in the store.

Lisa almost jumped when she felt Jennie next to her.

"Lisa likes comfy clothes so I'm thinking either a dress that isn't too tight or a suit but it has to accentuate her feminine features because Lisa likes to toe the line. Not really androgynous per say but she tends to give off masculine energy with her clothes so it has to be something that does both." Jennie told Taehyung.

Lisa was a little shocked Jennie knew her style so well.

Taehyung smirked as he eyed Lisa up and down. "I've got just the thing."

He brought out some tights that had vertical black stripes running down. They alternated between stripes and showing skin. He also had a black bodysuit in his hand and a beige fitted coat.

"That's perfect. Try it on Lis."

Lisa walked out donning it and Jennie had to admit no one but Lisa could have rocked that outfit so perfectly. She got up from the lounge chair and buttoned up the last two buttons on Lisa's coat, stepping back to admire the whole thing.

"I think all she needs is a black choker and some jewelry." Jennie said, raking her eyes down Lisa's body. "What do you think Lis? Is it comfy enough?"

Lisa nodded.

"Look in the mirror."

Lisa looked at the outfit and she had to admit it felt like she was dressed in thousand dollar clothing. She had looked at the tags earlier and knew they weren't brand name. It looked like Jennie had proven she could dress her up in non brand name clothing and still make it look expensive after all.

"Looks good doesn't it?" Jennie asked, smirking, knowing she had won.

"I look good in anything." Lisa tried to joke.

Jennie rolled her eyes.

"We'll take it Tae." Jennie said in response.

Taehyung nodded and Lisa went to go change. She fully intended on paying for the outfit but by the time she was out of the dressing room Jennie was already swiping her card.

"Jennie stop."

Jennie smirked. "Told you I could do it under a hundred dollars." Jennie said, showing Lisa the receipt smugly.

Lisa's mouth dropped as she saw how much she had spent. It was way below a hundred dollars. She shook her head as she came to her senses, bringing her wallet out, trying to pay Jennie back either way.

"Stop. It's part of the deal." Jennie said, shoving the wallet away.

Lisa wasn't having it so Jennie leaned in to whisper into Lisa's ear.

"Do you really want to breach your contract? It's in my purse, I can start with Tae and end with Suzy."

Lisa glared at Jennie.

"That's what I thought." Jennie said with a smirk.

Jennie went to hug Tae again. "Thank you darling, you never disappoint."

"Anytime. I have a new shipment soon so drop by next week. I bought some things from this girl in America, she didn't even know what she was holding."

"I'll bring your boy with me." Jennie said winking, knowing Taehyung wanted to see Jimin.

Taehyung blushed but ignored her.

"Nice to meet you Lisa."

"You too, thank you for this." Lisa said honestly as she grabbed the bags from him.

Jennie and Lisa walked to the car and Lisa barely caught the keys Jennie threw at her.

"You drive." Jennie demanded as she got into the passenger's seat.

"You're crazy if you think I'm driving your expensive car."

Jennie slammed the door in Lisa's face and locked it as soon as she was inside the car. Jennie's windows were tinted really dark but Lisa could just barely make out Jennie's smirk because she was so close to the window. Lisa unlocked the car with the remote on the keys but she heard a distinctive click right afterwards. Jennie had obviously locked it again.

Lisa unlocked it one more time and tried to open the passenger door but Jennie locked it before she could.

Lisa tried unlocking the door and opening it again. Jennie beat her to it, locking it quickly.

They did this, fighting over the door for a few more seconds before Lisa saw Jennie roll the window down a bit so Lisa could hear her.

"Just give up and fucking drive Lisa." Jennie said in a whiny tone, "I hate driving."

Jennie was lying. She often took long drives to clear her head. This car was the only expensive thing she actually appreciated because it drove really smooth and she had actually let her father spoil her for once, she let him splurge on a custom top of the line sound system when they ordered the car. Good sound was the only thing she had asked for in a car so the Audi was often Jennie's safe haven when she needed to get away from it all.

Yet for some reason, Jennie had wanted to give Lisa the opportunity to drive her car after she had seen the look of excitement on her face when Lisa had come out of the dorm and admired it so Jennie had no choice but to lie about hating to drive. She wasn't about to let Lisa know she was trying to do something nice for her for once.

Lisa had looked too in awe of it when she saw it and Jennie didn't really know why she was doing it but she figured it was the least she could do considering it wasn't really Jennie's car anyway. It might be under her name but she didn't buy it and it wasn't Lisa's fault she didn't have rich parents like Jennie did. Lisa deserved a test drive at the very least.

Lisa tried to unlock the door one last time to no avail so she had no choice but to walk over to the driver's side. She unlocked the door and Jennie finally let her in, not locking her out this time.

"I'm hungry." Jennie said to Lisa, pouting at her as soon as she was in the car.

Lisa gripped the wheel tightly, looking around at the car in awe again, not believing she was really about to get to drive it before answering Jennie.

"Do you want to go eat somewhere before we go home?"

Jennie nodded.

"Where?"

"Whatever you want is fine." Jennie said, still pouting.

Lisa averted her eyes because for some reason some part of her thought Jennie might actually look cute when she pouted. She must be going crazy.

"Gamjatang?" Lisa suggested, once she shook herself out of it. She didn't dare look at Jennie again though, just in case she was still pouting.

"I don't feel like spicy today."

"Bibimbap?"

"I don't think I want Korean."

"Subway?"

"What is this a k-drama?" Jennie retorted.

"Tacos?"

"They don't have real Mexican food here unless we drive for an hour to that taco truck on the outskirts of Seoul but I'm way too hungry for that."

"Pasta?"

"You're still trying to make me fat." Jennie deadpanned.

"Chinese? Hot pot?"

"I told you I didn't want spicy." Jennie said making a face at Lisa. "You never listen to me." Jennie pouted again.

Lisa sighed, looking away from her again. She slightly admitted to herself that maybe Jennie really was cute when she was pouting. What the hell was wrong with her lately?

"Breakfast for dinner then?"

Jennie perked up.

"Like what?" Jennie asked.

"Crepes?" Lisa asked with a lilt at the end.

"I like crepes." Jennie said thoughtfully.

Lisa finally relaxed, happy she guessed Jennie's mind sooner than she had the last time they were going to eat together.

Lisa started the car and she had to close her eyes as she heard the beautiful rumble of the engine before driving out of the parking lot and taking Jennie to Lisa's favorite breakfast restaurant.

Lisa almost facepalmed when Jennie looked at the menu and decided not to order the crepes after all, getting the French toast that was loaded with fruit and topped with ice cream instead.

"What happened to not getting fat?" Lisa mumbled under her breath.

"What was that?" Jennie asked with a glare.

"Nothing." Lisa answered nervously.

Lisa ordered the crepes.

Lisa would have rolled her eyes at Jennie if she wasn't so cute. Jennie finished the fruit and the ice cream and then kept shooting pouty looks at Lisa when she was done, not touching her French toast anymore.

Lisa finally gave in after a few minutes, unable to take the looks anymore. She felt like she was going crazy because she found Jennie too adorable. She shouldn't be finding Jennie adorable. She didn't get along with Jennie after all. This shouldn't be happening. The baby brat shouldn't be cute right now.

"You only ordered the French toast for the ice cream didn't you?" Lisa asked her knowingly.

Jennie averted her eyes.

"No." Jennie mumbled.

"You want my crepes don't you?" Lisa said smirking, ignoring her answer.

"No." Jennie said again, unconvincingly.

Lisa shook her head and switched their plates. Jennie squealed happily, digging in to the crepes immediately, completely disregarding the fact she had just said she hadn't wanted them to Lisa just a second ago.

Lisa watched her for a few seconds before she started cutting into Jennie's french toast. This woman was so difficult.

"You're impossible." Lisa said to Jennie, echoing her internal thoughts.

Jennie only smiled happily in response, cheeks puffed out as she stuffed her mouth with Lisa's crepes and Lisa felt a little weird as she watched her, a tumbling feeling in her stomach hitting her all of a sudden. She watched Jennie eat for a little too long before she finally shook herself out of it and started eating the French toast in front of her.

Lisa fought Jennie for the bill once they were done eating and Lisa actually won that time.

"You bought the clothes, let me pay for this please." Lisa begged.

Lisa didn't realize she only won because Jennie was too distracted as she watched the server walk up to them. She was looking at Lisa a little too hard in Jennie's opinion. Didn't she realize they were together? Fake together, but still, the audacity, Jennie thought.

Jennie was too lost in her thoughts, glaring at the server fiercely for so long that it gave Lisa enough time to sneak her card to the server before Jennie could, who had laid hers on the table and forgot to grab it in order to hand it to her.

The server came back to them after charging them and left Lisa's receipt and card on the table and Jennie immediately noticed the phone number written at the bottom of the receipt.

Jennie glared at Lisa.

"You're getting dangerously close to breaking our deal already and it hasn't even been a day." Jennie said menacingly.

"What did I do?" Lisa asked perplexed.

Jennie grabbed the receipt and shoved it into Lisa's mouth angrily before walking out of the restaurant and sliding into the passenger's seat of her own car, waiting for Lisa.

Lisa was so bewildered she froze for a second before she spit out the receipt and looked at it. She noticed the number at the bottom. She happened to lock eyes with the server who winked at her when she looked up and Lisa sighed heavily, ignoring the server and leaving the receipt behind.

She walked tentatively to Jennie's car. She had fully expected Jennie to have left her stranded but she saw that the car was on and Jennie was sitting in the passenger's seat waiting for her.

Lisa slid in to the driver's side and looked to Jennie who was avoiding her gaze and looking out the window.

Lisa didn't dare say anything, she put the car in drive and started driving to the university. She understood Jennie's anger. They might be fake dating but Jennie's pride was stung. Kai had cheated on her and humiliated her in front of the whole school. Lisa couldn't blame Jennie for being this way and almost acting jealous.

They drove in silence. Lisa finally parked in front of her dorm. Jennie made no move to get out of the car so she could drive home and Lisa just knew she was spaced out.

"Jennie?"

Jennie finally shook herself out of her daze, looking at Lisa blankly.

"I'm not him. I would never cheat on you." Lisa tried to reassure Jennie.

Jennie laughed derisively.

"We're not even dating for real. You think I actually believe that? He had everything to gain and he still fucked up. What makes you any different Lisa? All you get out of this is not being humiliated by your ex. There's nothing stopping you from flirting or getting with someone else while we do this." Jennie finished. It all sounded really condescending but Jennie actually meant her questions.

"I'm not him." Lisa said adamantly before taking the car out of park again and driving to Jennie's apartment.

"Where are you going?" Jennie asked.

"To drop you off."

"That makes no sense Lisa, go back to your dorm."

Lisa didn't listen, continuing to drive and parking in Jisoo and Jennie's apartment garage a few minutes later.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Lisa said, handing Jennie the keys.

"It's dark Lisa."

"I'm fine, I'll walk back. Its not far."

Jennie glared at her.

"You're so annoying." Jennie said exasperatedly as she reached into the console in front of her, grabbing something out of it. She shoved the pepper spray into Lisa's hands. "Text me when you get home you stupid idiot. If you don't text me within thirty minutes I'm calling the cops and telling them you broke into my house so they can arrest you." Jennie threatened before marching into her apartment in a huff.

Lisa smiled to herself. She got out of the car and locked it. She turned around, starting to walk away but she had to pause as she heard the door to Jennie's apartment open again. Lisa turned around and watched as Jennie marched down the steps and snatched the pepper spray Lisa had out of her hands. She pointed at a little lever.

"You have to unlock it first, you know that right?" Jennie asked Lisa.

Lisa smirked harder.

"I'm just saying. You're a little dense. Unlock it before pressing the button or its not going to work." Jennie said annoyed, shoving the pepper spray back into Lisa's hands before turning away. "Don't die."

"I won't." Lisa said with a smile on her face.

"What a shame." Jennie said before slamming the door.

Lisa smiled harder.

Jennie opened the door again.

"I'm serious, don't die. It's too much of a hassle. Rosie will cry for weeks." Jennie said before slamming the door on her again.

Lisa walked home, twisting the pepper spray in her hands, smiling goofily the whole way. She probably would have died if someone had attacked her because she paid no mind to her surroundings as she walked, too lost in her thoughts.

She opened the door to her dorm room, expecting Chaeyoung to be asleep already. She almost jumped when the blonde addressed her.

"I guess I believe you now." Her best friend said.

"Huh?" Lisa asked bewildered.

"That face you're sporting. You're smitten with her."

"Am not!" Lisa protested, almost blushing. "Smitten with who?" Lisa amended, feeling caught.

"Where have you been?" Chaeyoung asked, ignoring her and smirking.

Lisa averted her eyes.

"Shopping."

"With Jennie?"

"Yeah," Lisa mumbled. "We had to get something for the charity thing on Friday."

Chaeyoung smiled knowingly.

"It's nice to see you and your girlfriend finally spending some quality time together." Chaeyoung said teasingly. "I haven't seen you smile this hard in a while."

Lisa had no comeback for that.

"I have homework." Lisa said, moving to their shared desk.

"Oh you got it bad Lis." Chaeyoung said giggling.

"What do you mean!" Lisa said indignantly.

"You haven't ever willingly done homework unless you were failing something and I've known you since we were five years old."

"I am failing."

"I know for a fact you're not now that you've finished your prerequisites. All your classes are dance, photography and electives now, which you actually like. You might fail the written stuff every once in a while but not the whole class."

"I have an essay to write over the concept of one of my pictures." Lisa lied.

"You did that last week." Chaeyoung countered. "I had to force you to sit and do it remember?"

Lisa huffed.

"Fine. I forgot about having done it. I'm going to sleep." Lisa said, grabbing her sweats and changing.

Chaeyoung only smiled in triumph. She hadn't seen Lisa this flustered in a while. She was even more flustered than when Lisa had told her she was going to confess to Suzy for the first time in high school.

Chaeyoung knew there was something weird going on still, but one thing was for sure. Jennie and Lisa definitely liked each other.
