Chapter 17 Drunken Shenanigans

No one's POV

It's currently the morning and Nhazul who had just woken up made his way to his kitchen to make some orange juice and proceeded to walk outside to his balcony to get some fresh air. As he was sipping his drink, he would hear Chizuru's voice.

Chizuru: Oh, morning.

Nhazul: Morning...

Nhazul said still yawning, sipping his drink again when Chizuru spoke up again.

Chizuru: Thanks for yesterday. My birthday.

Nhazul: Don't mention it.

Chizuru: How did you even know?

Nhazul: The app notified me. And I was out, so I figured I get you something.

Chizuru: I see... Well, they were really good. I plan on trying the tea later tonight. Though placing it directly on my balcony feels like crossing boundaries.

Nhazul: ...-_-... Ah, so I guess walking into my apartment to get into your locked one is fair game.

Hearing this, Chizuru looked at Nhazul annoyed.

Chizuru: Will you be quiet and let me finish? I was going to say, I'll let it slide as gift from a neighbor.

Nhazul would just roll his eyes, as Chizuru spoke up again.

Chizuru: Regarding what happened with Ruka, I'll believe you.

Nhazul: Hmm?

Chizuru: You said nothing happened between you two. I'll believe you.

Nhazul: Again with this? Even if something happened, why would you care?

Hearing this, Chizuru would blush a bit before huffing and walking back into her apartment, ignoring Nhazul, annoying him.

Nhazul: Don't freaking Ignore me!

Currently within the computer lab within the collage, Nhazul, Zane and Sai were all working on their different projects, when they all heard a group of perverted students going on about wanting to have sex with pretty girls, making Sai sigh.

Sai: I swear, is sex all these guys talk about...?

Nhazul: They're perverted idiots... What do you expect...?

Zane: Anyway, you free later, Nhazul?

Nhazul: Yeah, why?

Zane: Sai's been wanting to go out drinking and we're both free tonight. He's also gotten pretty close to some group lately.

Nhazul: Some group? Who?

Sai: Heh, you'll just have to come with and find out.

Hearing this, Nhazul just rolled his eyes.

Nhazul: Sure, I'm down.

Sai: Awesome. That makes six.

Zane: See you there at 5:00.

Nhazul: Yeah.

(Timeskip)

It's later in the day after classes, Nhazul, Zane sand Sai all made their way to the restaurant and upon making their way to their area, Yoko greets them.

Yoko: Oh, hey, Sai. Over here.

Sai: Yo, Yoko

Yoko: The girls are all here.

Upon seeing Yoko, Nhazul would raise a brow.

Nhazul's thoughts: Huh? Where have I seen her before?

As the three walk in, he sees that the group is girls from their school, and that one of them is Chizuru, shocking him and along with her.

Chizuru: ...O-O...!!!

Nhazul's thoughts: ...-_-... You're kidding...

As Nhazul freezes for a moment, the others wonder what's going on with Zane speaking up.

Zane: You good?

Nhazul: Oh, I'm fine. It's just took me a second to realize they were at the beach with us...

Yoko: Hey, you remember us!

Yuki: I'm Yuki.

As Zane sat down, he looked over towards Sai.

Zane: So, how do you two know each other?

Sai: Oh, well after the beach day, we started talking now and then at college.

Yoko: And we were drinking tonight, so I invited him.

Hearing this, Zane would chuckle and smirk at them.

Zane: Oh, yeah. Like this is the first time you've both met up.

Soon, Sai and Yoko would blush a bit, making Zane laugh.

Zane: Your face says it all.

Sai: Oh shut up!

As Nhazul would sit down next, he would soon sigh.

Nhazul's thoughts: I swear, this is getting annoying at this point...

After everyone got situated, they order drinks, the girls reveal that Chizuru just turned 20 last week and can now legally drink. As they start to drink, the boys notice that Chizuru is a bit more quiet.

Yoko: No, really. She's so shy! A real stick in the mud, too!

Yuki: Yeah, yeah.

Yoko: She'd never drink it up with boys unless she was tricked into it.

Chizuru: H-Hey...

Yoko: And there've never been any signs of blooming romance...

Zane: Really?

Nhazul's thoughts: ...-_-... She's technically has over 100 boyfriends...

Without warning, a now drunk Yoko would begin jiggling Chizuru's boobs, surprising the boys, as she pushed Yoko away embarrassed.

Chizuru: Hey! You're drunk, Yoko!

Yoko: What's the big deal? Doesn't cost you anything, you know.

As both Zane and Sai both pretended to not see anything, Nhazul would just roll his eyes, before noticing Chizuru glaring at him.

Nhazul's thoughts: ...-_-... Why am I being glared at like I'm the one who told her to do that...?

Yuki: But Chizuru said she had plans last Christmas.

Chizuru: I-I was just meeting my grandma.

Yoko: Huh? It wasn't a boy?!

Nhazul's thoughts: Technically it was...

Hearing Chizuru's name, Sai looked up surprised.

Sai: "Chizuru"? That's the name of Nhazul's girlfrie-

Nhazul: Hey, Sai. Get your luck purified?

Sai: Huh? My luck?

Nhazul: Yep. Did you go? I really hope you did. You did go, didn't you? To get your luck purified.

Sai would soon just look at Nhazul a little creeped out.

Sai: Way to kill the convo, dude... How many times are you gonna ask? And where did that even come from?

Nhazul: I still didn't hear an answer.

Sai: Yes! I went, two years ago! Jeez!

Despite Nhazul's efforts to change to subject, it sadly failed when Yoko spoke up.

Yoko: What? You have a girlfriend?

Yuki: What's she like?

Sai then starts explaining how gorgeous she is, making compliment after compliment and stating she is the ideal girlfriend.

Sai: Though, I'm pretty surprised Nhazul started going out with her. Man used to be a complete woman hater. The looks he would give them sometimes, it's like he was abusing him then with his eyes alone.

Hearing this, Nhazul just looked at Sai irritated.

Nhazul: Don't make me sound like a fucking woman abuser, you ass!

Yoko: Huh... Girls like that exist, huh?

Yuki: I'm so envious.

Nhazul: ...-_-... Thanks...

Yuki states that their Chizuru is complete opposite of Nhazul's girlfriend, but if she gets her glasses off, she is quite cute.

In that moment she removes Chizuru's glasses and both Chizuru and Nhazul starts to worry she will be recognized, but as everyone is too drunk already, they don't recognize her.

Nhazul's thoughts: They're drunk already? I guess this is a blessing in disguise... But at the same time, this can get worse pretty quickly...

Sai: Oh! Let's play Bamboo Shoot!

Everyone: Yeah!

Nhazul's thoughts: Fuck!

As Nhazul and Chizuru reluctantly play the bamboo shoot drinking game with the others, Chizuru and Yuki end up loosing and have are forced to gulp their drinks.

Seeing her drinking it, Nhazul can immediately tell she's doing it to not ruin the mood.

Nhazul's thoughts: Crap... I get she doesn't want to ruin the mood, but this is her first time drinking and she may not know her limit... If this keeps up, she'll get drunk and may reveal her identity...

Soon Nhazul would just sigh annoyed, which Chizuru noticed.

Nhazul's thoughts: ...-_-... This is going to suck...

As the next round starts, Nhazul makes a mistake on purpose to lose, being forced to chug his beer. Nhazul proceeds to make more mistakes, loosing several times in a row and making everyone laugh at him at how he keeps losing, however Chizuru would just look at him, knowing the true reason.

Chizuru: ...

After the restaurant, everyone decides to call it a night and go home. On the way home, Nhazul feels extremely sick and struggles to even walk.

Nhazul's thoughts: Shit... I went way over... I can't even see straight...

Suddenly, Nhazul felt a tug on his shoulder, looking over to see Chizuru, who had knelt down to him.

Nhazul: Huh...?

Chizuru: Come on. Up you go.

As Chizuru helps Nhazul up and to his apartment. Upon arriving, Chizuru then unlocks the door for him and Nhazul barely walks in, before laying on the ground, making Chizuru sigh.

Chizuru: Sheesh. I'll leave your key here.

Nhazul: Thanks...

As Nhazul starts to feel even more sick, he goes to throw up at the toilet, making Chizuru sigh, walking in to check on him.

Chizuru: Hey, are you okay?

Nhazul: Yeah... Peachy...I'll be fine...

Chizuru: You know I can't leave you like this. You drank way too much.

Nhazul: ...-_-... Gee, I wonder what gave that away...

Chizuru just looked at Nhazul annoyed.

Chizuru: It amazes me that you can still be a smart ass while throwing up.

Nhazul: I'm a man of many talents...

Chizuru would just roll her eyes, before speaking up.

Chizuru: The drinking game stuff. That was on purpose, right?

Nhazul: And...?

Chizuru: I'm actually surprised the rest of them didn't catch on.

Nhazul: Well, it's the same reason why they didn't recognize you without your horrible disguise... They were too drunk to pay it any mind...

Chizuru: I get that... But who did you do that?

Nhazul: That's a game for people who's already used to drinking... It was your first time, so didn't know how well you held it. But seems I didn't have to worry much... You seem fine...

Chizuru: Who knows. I can't tell.

Soon, Nhazul began to throw up again. Sighing, Chizuru walked over and knelt down, rubbing his back, as Nhazul keeps throwing up. Once finished, Nhazul tries to stand up, but falls over Chizuru and falls asleep, making her blush and sigh once again.

Chizuru: Sheesh... No booze for you for awhile...
