(S3 Finale) Chapter 33 Looking Forward

No one's POV

It's been a few days since Nhazul would begin to start leaving the house once again due to Ruka's help. Currently within the train station, he was  leaning on the wall looking at his phone, when he would soon hear someone walking up to him. Looking to left, he would see Sumi.

Nhazul: Hey...

As Sumi would go to wave,

she would accidentally step on a rock and trip. Seeing this, Nhazul would kneel down and offer her a hand.

Nhazul: You alright..?

Accepting his hand, Nhazul would help Sumi up,

as she would just giggle, he would just look at her.

Nhazul's thoughts: I haven't seen her since...

Quickly stopping himself from continuing his thought, Nhazul would simply sigh.

Nhazul's thoughts: She's been blowing up my phone, for the last few days asking to meet up. I wonder what she wants to do.

While in his thoughts, Sumi would gain a determined look before she takes the initiative, grabbing Nhazul's arm and dragging him to Shinjuku station, confusing him.

Nhazul's thoughts: Shinjuku? Why the big city all of a sudden?

As Sumi would continue to drag Nhazul, the two would pass through a ticket gate. After looking at the different listings,

Sumi would look towards Nhazul and held up a finger.

Nhazul: Track 1?

Looking at the listings, Nhazul would see that Track 1 was heading towards Fujisawa.

Nhazul's thoughts: Fujisawa?

Nhazul: You want to go to the beach?

Sumi, who didn't lose her determined look would simply nod at Nhazul, confusing him once again.

Nhazul: Why the beach? Isn't that a little out of left field...?

Sumi wouldn't respond to Nhazul, simply grabbing his arm again and dragging him to the train and boarding it. While the two would get seated and ride the train, Nhazul's mimd would begin to drift to Leo, making him look down saddened.

Nhazul: ...

Sumi: Hmph!

Nhazul: Hmm?

Looking over, Nhazul would see Sumi holding her hands up with her index fingers pointing. Seeing this, Nhazul would recognize what she was doing.

Nhazul: Ah, Match Game...

As the two would play the game together, they would play until they reached the beach. However, once they had arrived, Sumi was disappointed at the fact that no one was there.

Nhazul: I mean, it is the middle of September... It's not surprising no one would be here...

Sumi: ...;-;...

Nhazul's thoughts: Was she actually thinking of changing?

Looking back off at the sea, Nhazul would simply stare at it, once again gaining a saddened look, his mind drifting to Leo. Noticing this, Sumi would quickly act and pull on Nhazul's sleeve to gain his attention.

Nhazul: Hmm..?

Looking over, Nhazul would see Sumi pointing towards the observation tower.

Nhazul: The observation tower? You want to go there?

Quickly nodding, Sumi would begin to walk towards it with Nhazul close behind her. After making their way there and reaching the top, Sumi would lead him to the binoculars. Using them, Nhazul would be able to see further off the horizon and have a better view from when he was on the beach.

Nhazul: Wow, the view from here pretty.

Stepping back to allow Sumi to see, she would attempt to look out them, however she wasn't tall enough and had trouble seeing. Seeing this, Nhazul would grab Sumi's legs and lift her up, much to her embarrassment. However, that would quickly fade as she would see the beautiful view.

After setting her down, the two would see 2 people shout out of the top of the tower. Seeing this, Sumi would build up her courage and decides to shout too, however her shout ends up being very quiet, saddening her.

Sumi: ...

Seeing this, Nhazul would simply sigh before shouting himself.

Nhazul: YOOOOO-HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Seeing this, Sumi would look at Nhazul surprised, before he gave her a small smile.

Nhazul: I gave it a shot for you. That felt pretty good, actually.

Hearing this, Sumi would return Nhazul's smile with one of her own. Afterwards the two eat a local beach café, and once they had finished, Sumi then drags Nhazul to the sea shore once again. As the two would sit together in the sand together, Sumi would eventually take off her socks and shoes, before walking into the water and playing in it.

Nhazul's thoughts: Just playing in the water?

Soon after, Sumi would look back towards Nhazul and motion him to join her.

Nhazul's thoughts: I guess I'm being summoned...

Taking off his shoes and socks, Nhazul would go and join Sumi, where the two play in the water for a while, with Nhazul genuinely enjoying himself and having fun with her. Upon seeing this, Sumi would look at Nhazul and smile happily at him. Afterwards Sumi would begin writing in the sand with a stick, gaining his attention.

Sumi: "Let the ocean waves wash your worries away ".

Seeing this, Nhazul would look at Sumi surprised.

Nhazul: Huh?

Soon, Sumi would begin to write once again.

Sumi: "I'm not very useful, so I at least wanted you to have some fun to forget your pain, at least for a little while and have some fun."

Nhazul: ...

Nhazul's thoughts: I see... So that's why she did all this... She was worried about me and wanted to have fun...

Sumi: You... You've always helped me... Even when I was a lost cause... You helped me slowly break from my shell... I want to repay your kindness, anyway I could...

Upon hearing this, Nhazul would look at Sumi surprised, before looking at her with small, but genuine happy smile.

Nhazul: "I'm not useful"? That's ridiculous. I had fun today. Thank you for worrying about me.

Sumi: Yup.

As Nhazul would look towards Sumi, once again Leo's final words would play in his head.

(Flashback)

Leo: Please, big bro... Promise me... You won't go back to how you used to be... That'll you'll truly find love again...

(Present)

Nhazul: ....

(Timeskip)

It now been a full on week since the death of Leo, and with the help of Ruka and Sumi, Nhazul has begun to recover from his grief. However despite this, he is far from back to normal. Having returned to his apartment, Sai and Zane would come over and hang out with him, just to be there with him, which he would most definitely appreciate.

Currently, within his apartment, Nhazul would lay down in his bed, looking at his closet, contemplating whether if he should return to school or not.

Nhazul: ....

As Nhazul would continue to contemplate, he would simply sigh, before he would hear the sound of his doorbell.

Nhazul: Hmm?

Getting out of his bed, Nhazul would walk this door and open it to see Chizuru standing at his door, surprising him.

Chizuru: Oh, you answered quicker than I expected.

Nhazul: What are you doing here? I thought you went to class.

Chizuru: No, I took off.

Hearing this, Nhazul would look at Chizuru confused.

Nhazul: Huh? Why?

Chizuru: Because there's someone I want you to meet.

Nhazul: Meet someone? Who?

Chizuru: You'll see once we get there. Go and get dressed.

Rolling his eyes, Nhazul would simply comply to Chizuru, not in the mood for an argument. After a few minutes, Nhazul would walk out dressed.

Chizuru: Good. Now follow me.

As both Nhazul and Chizuru would leave their apartment together, the two would proceed to make their way to the train station and boarding the train and sitting together. As they did, Nhazul would constantly hear guys and even women talking about them respectively, thinking the other was lucky to be with someone so attractive, making him again roll his eyes, before looking over towards her.

Nhazul: So, mind telling me where we're going now?

Chizuru: Like I said, you'll see when we get there.

Nhazul: Are you just going to keep saying that?

Chizuru: I don't know, are you going to keep asking that?

Nhazul: ...-_-...

After riding the train for around an hour, both Nhazul and Chizuru would arrive at their stop, walk of the train and out the station. After a few more minutes of walking, the two would arrive at a cemetery, confusing Nhazul, as Chizuru would lead him to a specific grave.

Nhazul: Who... Who is this...?

Chizuru: It's been awhile, Grandpa.

Upon hearing this, Nhazul would look at Chizuru surprised, as she would continue to talk.

Chizuru: I'm sorry. I haven't been around to see you in awhile. I've been looking after grandma in the hospital. She wasn't doing to well, but she seems to have bounced back.

Nhazul would just continue to look at Chizuru speak to her grandfather, not wanting to interrupt her, however what she said next surprised him even more.

Chizuru: You're watching up in Heaven, so you must already know the truth. That I'm working as a Rental Girlfriend, and my "boyfriend" isn't really my boyfriend. But even so, he's someone very important to me, so I wanted you to meet him personally. Grandma has taken a real liking to him, and I'm sure you would've as well.

Nhazul: ...

Chizuru: He can be a headache at times, especially his smart mouth. But he's been my support when it comes to my dream. When I thought I wasn't good enough, he pushed me forward. When I was afraid grandma wouldn't see me on the big screen, he made a movie and let me star in it. Despite his attitude, despite everything he does that gets under my skin, he's truly an amazing person. A person who recently lost someone very important to him. He's been in the same pain I was in when we lost you... So like he's been for me, I want to be his support as well.

As Chizuru would finish speaking, she would look back towards Nhazul, seeing him tearing up.

Nhazul: Why...? Why did you bring me here...?

Chizuru: Why? Because I trust you the most.

Nhazul: Huh?

Chizuru: Out of all my friends. From Umi, Yuko, Yuki, everyone, I've never brought them to see my grandpa. You're the first.

Hearing this, Nhazul would look at Chizuru even more surprised, as she continues to speak.

Chizuru: I brought you here because I wanted to show you that I'm in it for the long haul with you.

Chizuru would then turn to face Nhazul.

Chizuru: So if you ever just feel like crying, need someone to talk to or simply someone to keep you company, I want to be that for you. I want to keep giving you the support you've consistently gave me.

Upon hearing this, Nhazul would simply look at Chizuru surprised, as once again would he think back to Leo's dying words and wish.

(Flashback)

Leo: Please, big bro... Promise me... You won't go back to how you used to be... That'll you'll truly find love again...

(Present)

Soon, Nhazul would simply wipe his eyes, before giving Chizuru a smile.

Nhazul: Thanks... That... That means a lot to me...

Chizuru would simply smile back at Nhazul.

Chizuru: Of course. So let's keep looking forward. For both Grandpa and Leo's sake.

Nhazul: Yeah.

(Timeskip)

The next day, after getting some food, Nhazul would begin making his way back to his apartment. As he did, his mind would begin to wander, thinking back to his encounters with Chizuru, Ruka and Sumi and everything they've done done for him over the past week.

(Flashback)

Ruka: You didn't take advantage of me, Nhazul... If I didn't want that to happen, I would've made it clear.

Nhazul: Then why...?

Ruka: Because I wanted to take away your pain, even if for a little while.

Hearing this, Nhazul would simply look at Ruka surprised, as she continued to smile.

Nhazul: ....

Ruka: I lost my virginity to the person who I love. I don't and will never regret that, so please don't ever think you took advantage of me.

(Flashback)

Sumi: "Let the ocean waves wash your worries away ".

Seeing this, Nhazul would look at Sumi surprised.

Nhazul: Huh?

Soon, Sumi would begin to write once again.

Sumi: "I'm not very useful, so I at least wanted you to have some fun to forget your pain, at least for a little while and have some fun."

Nhazul: ...

Nhazul's thoughts: I see... So that's why she did all this... She was worried about me and wanted to have fun...

Chizuru would then turn to face Nhazul.

(Present)

Nhazul: ....

Nhazul's thoughts: Do you really think I can do it, Leo...?

(Flashback)

Boy: Hey... Are you sure we should be doing this? Don't you have a boyfriend?

Mami: Oh, I'm done with him. I was only using him to buy me whatever I wanted. I couldn't care less about him.

(Present)

Nhazul's thoughts: Do you really think I can move forward again...?

???: MASTER!!!!!

Nhazul: Hmm?

Being brought out from his thoughts, Nhazul would look up and see Mini running towards him.

Nhazul: Mini? What is it?

Mini: I've been looking for you! We need to go!

Hearing this, Nhazul simply raised a brow confused.

Nhazul: Go? Go where?

Mini: No time! Go now!

Mini said as she would suddenly put a blindfold on his face and grab his hand, pulling him.

Nhazul: Hey, wait! Where are we going?!

Mini: You'll see once we get there, Master!

Nhazul's thoughts: ...-_-... Why is everyone saying that....?

As Nhazul would reluctantly go along with Mini, she would lead him to a station and after 30 minutes, the two would arrive at their destination.

Mini: There! Now, remove your blindfold, Master!

Sighing, Nhazul would simply remove his blindfold, being immediately met by a completely packed Theater, full of people, including Chizuru, Sumi, Ruka, his parents, Sayori, completely shocking him.

Nhazul: W-What is all of this...?

Ruka: It's your surprise, silly.

Nhazul: Surprise?

Chizuru: It was all Mini's idea. After she had found out what happened, she arranged for a reviewing at a later date, and the organizers of the Film Festival were more than happy to help out.

Hearing this, Nhazul would look back at Mini, surprised as she simply smiled.

Mini: I had to help out my Master in some way and this was the best way! And we were able to add in something special for you.

Nhazul: Huh?

Ruka: You'll see, just watch.

As Nhazul continued to look confused, he would sit down with Ruka, and as the lights went out and the film began, there was a brief black screen, before a picture of Leo and Nhazul together would fade in, with the caption "In loving Memory of Leo Hatake. An irreplaceable member of the Film crew". Upon seeing this, Nhazul's eyes widened as without warning tears began streaming down his face.

Nhazul: Thank you... Thank you all so much...

As the Movie would play, everyone would watch it, along with Chizuru watching with her grandmother, her dream finally being fulfilled. Once it was over, both Nhazul and Chizuru would stand up and gets applauded after the credits roll. Along with this, Nhazul would be approached by the organizer of the Film Festival, being given two awards. "Best In Show", and "1st Place", having won the Film Festival. As the applauds would get even louder, Nhazul would look towards Ruka, Chizuru and Sumi who were all smiling, happy for him.

Nhazul's thoughts: I don't know, Leo... I don't know if I'm going to be able to move forward....

Catching more so Ruka and Chizuru by surprise, than Sumi, Nhazul would give them a truly genuine and pure smile.

Nhazul's thoughts: But I'm more than willing to try.

(A/N) Alrighty, here's the current stopping point for Lucky 4. This is a story I've wanted to do for awhile and couldn't do after having needed to rework my original concept, given how it still had a certain main character. But in the end, I decided to write him out as the main character and have it be Nhazul which was for the best. I plan on coming back to this once or if Season 4 comes out. Hopefully, because I rather not have to go through the Manga if I don't need to... But that being said, I hope you enjoyed this for what it was and I'll see you in Season 4..... Hopefully.....

Currently, walking down the street, Zane was making his way to his destination and upon entering, he would be met by the person who had asked him to meet them there.

Zane: Alright, I'm here. What did you want, Mami?

Mami: ....

Mami, the person who asked Zane to meet up wouldn't say anything, looking down at her drink with an uncharacteristically saddened look on her face, before speaking up.

Mami: How's Nhazul doing?

Zane would simply sigh, before pulling out his chair and sitting.

Zane: He's doing better. A lot better than before, but he's not going to be the same for awh-

Finally processing what Mami had said, Zane would look at her shocked.

Zane: Did you say, "Nhazul"...?

Mami wouldn't say anything for a few moments, before speaking up again.

Mami: I need your help...

Zane: My help? With what?

Mami: I want to talk to Nhazul.... No... I need to...

Hearing this, Zane would look at Mami confused, especially given her uncharacteristically passive demeanor.

Zane: Talk to Nhazul?

Mami: I... I don't know how to approach him now... Especially after what happened to Leo... I don't want to hurt him anymore than he already is...

Zane would simply narrow his eyes.

Zane: And when have you ever cared about not hurting him...

Upon hearing this, Mami would remain silent, thinking back to what Zane had said to her before.

(Flashback)

Zane: Don't act like you're innocent in any of this. Just because I don't bring up old drama, doesn't mean I forgot about it. You're the reason why he's like this. So stop toying with someone you cheated on.

Mami didn't say anything, looking away.

Mami: You talk like you know the full story...

Zane: I know enough.

Mami: ...

(Present)

Mami: You told me before that you knew enough of what happened... I want to tell him...

Zane: What?

Mami would look up at Zane with a serious and determined look.

Mami: I want to tell Nhazul the truth.... I want to tell him why I cheated on him...
