His Omega of Domination
second chance...
day 01
***
"Ivan!"
Ivan's eyes flew open, only to make eye contact with his mother. Except she looked mad at him, her arms folded at his predicament.
Except he already realized that his second chance has come into action. Things were different and he felt different. Even the way his mother was looking at him was different from before. She actually looked angry with him.
"What...what's going on?"
"First you break off the engagement, you end up pregnant with Jeremiah's child, you still refuse to marry, you had your chance to fix things and you made them even worse, Jeremiah - who once loved you to death now hates you, and now you're keeping Luka away from his father?" She sneers in disgust as Ivan's eyes widen. "When you have a child, you no longer have the right to continue to act like one. Go and take care of-!"
Ivan got up so fast, rushing down the hall. He had no idea where Luka was...but somehow, he knew exactly where to go.
When he opened the doors, he saw Luka being held by Jeremiah's mother. Except when she looked at him he was startled by the irritation that took over her features.
"Now you want to show up?"
"Of...of course, why wouldn't I?" Ivan came towards her and tried to take Luka, just for Jeremiah's mother to step back. "What are you doing?"
"What are you doing? You never cared to take care of him before, now you do?"
Ivan found himself even more irritated. Now he was realizing how this was going to play out.
The Luna made him even worse in this 'second chance' scenario. In this one, he didn't even take care of his child and kept Jeremiah from him?
Was this playing off of when they had sex in the gym closet? When he thought about it, he saw the memory clearly. Even though it's not how it happened before.
In his new memory, they both went all the way and Jeremiah knotted him. He could see that once he did, Ivan began to hurl insults and hateful things at him right there. While Jeremiah tried to calm him down and kept apologizing, Ivan heard himself saying things he had never said before.
They got engaged...but Jeremiah was the one who called things off. He could see in his memory that he was always going to marry him...but he said things - except he didn't hear or know what.
That was the only part hidden from him. What did he do or say for Jeremiah to actually...end the marriage outright?
"I do...I always did." Ivan finally speaks despite her eye roll. "I can do it. Can you please let me have my-."
"Now you want to treat me with respect?"
"I always have, I respect you and Jeremiah's father-."
"Shut your mouth."
He sighed, unable to see the memory of why they seemed to hate him now. Except his mother was now less timid and more headstrong.
"Here, have him. You are the one who birthed him, let's see how long you last." She came towards him, Ivan taking Luka into his arms easily.
When he looked down at him, he saw the exact same baby that he saw in his first life. The Luka he cherished and wanted nothing but good things for. His beauty...his cuteness, how tiny he was.
He found his eyes watering, smiling as he found himself thankful.
"Thank you..." He breathed to the Luna quietly. Holding him closely, Jeremiah's mother had never seen such a side of him.
Except she didn't intervene, just standing there as Ivan got emotional in just staring at Luka. Before, Ivan could barely look at Luka because he reminded him of Jeremiah - at least, that's what she thought.
Unaware of the different person before herself.
"Has...?" Ivan faltered, looking back at Jeremiah's mother as she narrowed her eyes at him. "Has Jeremiah seen Luka yet?"
Just from his question, he had no idea how much he just offended her. Because in this reality, Ivan was keeping Jeremiah from seeing him. The last time he saw Luka was in the hospital, but after that, nothing.
"There's always more and more that you do that makes me dislike you more and more. You have no shame." She shoved her way past him, Ivan just continuing to stand there.
He didn't realize how much the Luna had pinned everyone against him. How in the reality he was born in, everyone cared and loved him despite how he was.
Because he was blessed for things to be that way.
When in reality without the blessing, things would've turned out like this.
Ivan looked down at Luka, smiling at the one person Jeremiah and him created. His heart swelling with the same love he had for him the first time he ever saw him. He felt like, right now, that he was seeing Luka for the first time once again.
His lips tighten together at just simply being able to have Luka still. Except he remembered when he held him like this once...but Jeremiah was close beside him.
Being so cautious...so sweet...
Ivan groaned at the pain of not having Jeremiah with him, his head lowering to Luka's. Suppressing his cries because he knew he didn't deserve to cry, he brought this upon himself.
Now...he had to earn not just his forgiveness, but a confession of his love for him once again.
Besides Jeremiah hating him, it seemed like they all did.
Ivan laid Luka back into his crib, rushing out. Right when he did he bumped into his father. In barely making eye contact his father pushed right past him.
He had to stop himself from being angry at that because this wasn't his actual reality. This was something entirely different. Something to be earned...
When he went downstairs he saw Jeremiah's father by himself. In his memory there was nothing clear and finite for him that would show he did anything to him. With that in mind, he allowed himself to approach him.
Once he went around the couch to look at him, he watched Jeremiah's father look at him with displeasure.
That's how he knew there was a problem with him too.
"I...I wanted to ask you something."
"Ask me something? What more can you ask of us? You asked us to piss off, you asked us to cease to exist, you asked us to keep our son away from you and his child-."
"No...not that. That wasn't..." Ivan lost his voice, his hand going over his mouth as his father frowned at him stopping.
Ivan could feel himself losing his voice just from trying to say that wasn't him. Swallowing the lump in his throat, he gripped his throat awkwardly.
"I want...to speak to him."
Instantly, Jeremiah's father bursted out laughing. Ivan didn't react as he only got louder and louder in his laughing.
He heard his parents walk down the stairs, becoming more irritated when Jeremiah's mother was with them too. Now he was one against four as they looked only at him.
"You are seriously asking me to speak with my son? When he wanted to speak to you before, you denied and denied - and once you did, you said nothing but vile things. Why would I let you speak to him?" He raised his eyebrow, causing Ivan to look off.
"Because he's the father of my child, that's why." Ivan just said calmly, but before Jeremiah's father could snap back, he scoffed. "I am here, right now, clearly trying to fix things. And you are standing in my way of doing that. You two know where he is, you're his parents. So, if I'm trying to fix the shit I created, why are you stopping me? Isn't this what you were hoping for-."
"There it is." Jeremiah's mother sneered, Ivan looking at her in confusion. He wasn't used to hearing her sound so upset and sharp. "He's not doing it for himself or for Jeremiah's sake, he's doing it for us."
"I am not." Ivan found himself raising his voice.
He had to steady his breathing as he knew he couldn't speak the way he once did. They all...were clearly done with him.
"I'm doing this for him and me-."
"That's what you told him on the day you got pregnant-."
"I told him what?" Ivan interrupted his mother harshly.
"That you want to do it with him for you and him. When in reality, it was you being influenced by your Heat you selfish child. You mask your love for him with such hatred, jealousy, and domination. You disgust me, I can't believe you're an Omega." His mother hissed.
Ivan had to cover his mouth because he found this all hilarious. This whole reality was just stacked against him.
The Luna did this to him, but he also asked for the second chance. He knew Jeremiah would feel some kind of way, but not everyone.
"I can't either, but I am; there's nothing I can do about it now-."
"That's what Jeremiah tried to tell you about him being an Alpha; but you refused to listen." Ivan heard his own father speak now.
He could tell that look of disappointment in his eyes for him. It wasn't clear for him...what he did to disappointment him, but he wanted to say it was because he was an Omega. Except in the other reality, that didn't seem to be the case.
Was his father still preparing to become the new leader in this reality?
"I...I am realizing that now." Ivan mutters, but he saw his own dad shake his head. "What? It's too late now?"
"It's too late."
"It's never too late to fix things-."
"You...embarrassed me and made me look like a fool by not enforcing your engagement. You disobeyed me, made a mockery of me, and made me look weak. Then Jeremiah had to call it off entirely because you are so...insufferable. My position is in jeopardy because of you, and now you want to fix things? What is there to fix?" His father reminds him in frustration, but he didn't have malice within his voice like everyone else did.
Ivan was at a loss for words for that.
Because he would never go against his father's wishes. Despite how much he hated the idea of marrying Jeremiah, he would've did it.
Not to mention...he never had a problem with marrying him to begin with.
Jeremiah was a good man...a good Alpha even.
And he took him for granted, one hundred percent. He even took for granted his natural reality.
Now he felt like he was in Hell.
"There's lots that can be fixed, I want to try. I know I've...done a lot of stupid shit, but I'm here wanting to fix things. I'm actively telling you to all of your faces, I want to fix things. But you're the ones who don't seem to have faith in me."
"We don't, we lost all faith in you Ivan." His own mother states.
He found himself taken aback by that, clearing his throat as he closed his eyes tightly. Standing here and trying to convince people that weren't Jeremiah irritated him, they weren't who he wanted to spend his time on.
"You know what...? I don't care, I'm not trying to fix things with you guys - I'm more concerned about Jeremiah! And you all are wasting my time with this nonsense when there's someone more important I should be speaking to!" He snaps, turning away as he shook his head angrily. "If you guys won't tell me where he is, I'll find him myself."
"Good luck."
He flinched at hearing them all say that at the same time. When he looked back at them, he saw the same look within all of their eyes.
They didn't take him seriously.
"F-Fine!" He exclaimed in frustration.
Running out of his house, he now stood outside and had no idea what to do. He didn't want to turn back around because he knew how stupid he'd look.
Then there was Luka...but he was sleeping, so he wasn't too worried.
Except in standing there, he allowed himself to follow a direction he's never taken. However the case may be, it felt all too familiar.
Walking past certain spaces and buildings, recognizing certain stops. All of it was familiar, but he had never gone this way before. All of these new memories and experiences weren't actually his. Yet at the same time, they were.
Such new memories took him to a place he still had never been, but it felt familiar. And in him standing here, he began to smell a familiar scent.
A scent that remained uncontrolled and innocently so.
He rushed behind a building as he let the scent get closer. And as he did and the sun set faster, that's when he knew.
"Jeremiah!"
Ivan saw him, he knew that silhouette anywhere.
Except he saw it falter and fall still. He rushed towards it and when he rounded the corner, he saw him.
Jeremiah's eyes settled on him and Ivan felt immense happiness in just being able to see him. Until his eyes lowered upon the male who had his arm linked with his.
His blue eyes narrowing at him, hiding behind Jeremiah slightly.
"What is he doing here?"
Ivan looked back at Jeremiah, but there was nothing to read from his expression. His expression was too calm and he almost wondered if he even knew who he was.
"Jeremiah, I want to speak with you," Ivan pushed through, grinning at him as he began to reach for his arm, "just for a-."
Until he saw Jeremiah shove away by his shoulder. His body stumbling back more harshly than it ever has. He looked up at Jeremiah in shock to him shoving him, but then he saw the look in his eyes.
The look of complete and utter resentment and disdain.
That soft...and loving look that Jeremiah once had for him was nowhere to be seen. Just the way that he touched him right now...in his reality, Jeremiah had never harmed or pushed him. He was always so gentle...so kind in all of his actions towards him.
But now?
"Why...are you here? Did you follow me?" Jeremiah questioned him deeply, glaring at him as he looked around. "If you're seen here you will only disappoint your father more-."
"Don't be too surprised," the male spoke up, and when Ivan fully saw his face he suddenly knew his name - the face filling his memory when it never did before, "He never cared about how his actions affected others, just himself. This isn't new either."
Ivan watched Tate walk around Jeremiah as he stood between him and Ivan. His eyes scanning Ivan up and down, smiling.
"You look good considering you just had a baby," Tate mocks, causing Ivan to glare at him, "it's weird. As a new parent, shouldn't you be at home taking care of your child instead of trying to start drama somewhere else? Haven't you already caused Jeremiah enough pain?"
The longer Ivan looked at Tate, the more his memory began to be filled with new memories. Memories of Tate being nothing but an admirer to Jeremiah. An Omega who wanted Jeremiah, but never could have him because he was dedicated to always being with Ivan.
Except now...he clearly got what he wanted.
"Yes, I have, that's why I'm here."
"You're here...at a sleazy club?"
Ivan found himself gasping as he looked. His eyes widening at the sight of the bright lights that made it abundantly clear.
He didn't care as he looked back at Jeremiah only. Seeing him still glaring at him, only to look away.
"I don't care what you think, I don't." Jeremiah chuckles as Tate went back to holding onto his arm cozily. "You just...followed me and are trying to fuck with me, like you always have-."
"Not this time!"
"Oh? What about next time?" Jeremiah questioned sharply as Ivan shook his head. "I'm not doing this with you Ivan! Just piss off and be an eyesore somewhere else. Wherever you appear, things come to shit; so just leave."
Just when they both turned, Ivan grabbed Jeremiah's arm. Seeing him turn and look down at him in complete anger, Ivan felt his own heart hurting.
"I'm here...to fix things. I know you want to see our child, right? I know you miss me, so don't pretend like you don't. Come with me so we can fix things, please-!"
Jeremiah yanked his arm from Ivan so harshly that his bottom hit the ground. Looking up at Jeremiah, he saw Tate snickering at his predicament.
"We...have nothing to fix. I asked to see our child, many times, you're the one who went out of their way to keep him from me. I don't miss this...I don't miss you. What is there to miss? Your constant negativity, abuse, hatred, nonsense? No...I don't miss you, I don't need to pretend for that." Jeremiah glared into his eyes without hesitation.
Ivan still sat here, watching them both walk inside.
Not once did Jeremiah look back at him...easily walking inside.
His hands began to shake as Jeremiah had never spoken like that to him before. Had never pushed him or put him in this predicament.
It left him feeling sick and disgusted the longer he sat there.
"Why...are you doing this to me?" He breathed painfully, speaking to the Luna entirely. "This is too much. The Jeremiah I knew would-."
"This is the 'Jeremiah' you knew."
"It is not!" Ivan slammed his hand on the ground, shaking his head violently. "It is not at all! I-!"
"You were blessed with the parts of Jeremiah better suited for your happiness. He still has those qualities, but you ruined them-."
"You ruined them in this reality, not me!"
Ivan got up hurriedly as he saw people begin to look at him like he was crazy. Shaking his head as he gripped his hair at the roots, hearing the Luna speak to him in his head.
"You still can't take accountability. What do you not understand? If it was not for my blessing and the blessing your parents asked of me for you, this is what your life would've been. I just took away your blessing, that's all." She explains, angering Ivan even more. "If it's too much for you, I can easily bring you back-."
"Shut up." He sneered, stopping himself mid-step.
Looking back at the club, he didn't know what kind of club it was...because in his memory, there was no such thing for him going in. He had no idea what was in there...but he could easily guess.
Especially with the Omega beside him...he came off with the same vibe as him, dominating.
It almost made him sick to think that...Tate might've been his Omega of domination-.
"It's because he is."
He felt...so much anger, but it wasn't towards Jeremiah. It was towards himself because how could he have let things get this far?
To the point that Jeremiah would even...?
"What are you going to do?"
Ivan stared at the place, knowing he couldn't just leave. He didn't have that luxury. He didn't waste his first day getting nowhere but insulted and shit on all day.
His first day had to be worth something.
And he knew how to make it be so.
