With the arrival of Uncle Tom, dinner had officially begun.

Although it was Aunt Eleanor’s birthday party, the people who attended were all biological relatives. It

The person who spoke was the youngest daughter of the Page family, Katy, who was two years

younger than Rachel.

for many years.

Charles‘ brows furrowed slightly, his eyes cold. “Today is Aunt’s birthday. Behave yourself!”

“Charles, why are you always on her side? Don’t forget that I’m your biological sister!”

Katy deliberately emphasized the word “biological“.

While reminding Charles, she also seemed to be reminding Eleanor of this

fact.

In terms of blood relations, Katy was Eleanor’s niece. However, her aunt had

always doted on Rachel. In fact, the entire Page family favored Rachel, knowingly or unknowingly.

Katy felt that Rachel had stolen the love and attention from the family that should have belonged to her.

embarrassment.

Noticing the atmosphere, Charles quickly stood up to apologize. “Aunt Eleanor, Katy is young and

doesn’t know any better. Please don’t take it to heart.”

After áll, Katy was her niece. Eleanor couldn’t embarrass her.

After everything had been cleared off the table, Eleanor gestured for the servants to serve the desserts

that had been prepared.

Everyone sat along the sofa to chat. Eleanor mentioned the charity auction dinner that Mr. Zane’s wife

was organizing.

“I heard that Mr. Zane booked a cruise ship for this charity auction. When the time comes, we’ll

probably have to spend the night aboard. Why don’t you come with me, Rae–Rae? We, mother and

daughter, can take care of each

other.”

When Katy heard this, she could not help but frown.

Mother and daughter?

How are Rachel and Aunt considered mother and daughter?

A hint of disappointment appeared in her eyes. “Aunt, what about me? You can’t play favorites.”
