Chapter 326
Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David)
Chapter 326 Could David Be Impotent?!
After an hour of standing in the cold shower, David finally understood what it meant to be asking for
trouble.
When he walked out of the bathroom and saw Rachel sleeping soundly on the bed, he could not help
but smile. âWhat a heartless little thing.â
As he said that, he looked at Rachel with a doting and indulgent gaze.
After changing his clothes, he laid back on the bed and carefully held Rachel in his arms. He bent his
head down slightly and planted a gentle kiss between her eyebrows.
He looked pious as if he wanted to pour all his gentleness into the light kiss. Despite making no
substantial progress, being able to hug her to sleep was already a big step forward for David.
Meanwhile, the servant stood in front of Old Mrs. Jones and described every detail to her.
âSo the two of them didnât get into a fight over it?â
âNo,â The servant said, âI followed your instructions and stood by the door for a while. I only left when I
realized that the two of them were not arguing.â Old Mrs. Jones couldnât help but smile happily at the
news. âThose two are in love, but theyâre too shy to make a move. They needed my help. Now that the
two of them are official, I can relax and wait for them to give birth to my greatâgrandson.â
Rosie didnât know whether to laugh or cry. âOld Mrs. Jones, isnât this a little too risky?â
âWhatâs risky about that?â Old Mrs. Jones said seriously, âI know David best. He said that he has to be
responsible for the girl and respect her wishes. Thatâs just an excuse for his own cowardice! Besides,
isnât it popular for young people to try having sex before getting married? Iâm doing this for RaeâRae!â
Rosie could not help but sigh silently. It was clear to her that Old Mrs. Jones was only doing this to
have a grandson.
Old Mrs. Jones looked at the clock and stood up. âCome on. Letâs go and take a look!â
âWhere are we going?â Rosie looked at her in a daze. She clearly was not able to catch up with Old
Mrs. Jonesâs train of thought.
Old Mrs. Jones glared at her angrily. âWhere do you think it is?â
Then, she grabbed Rosieâs arm and strode out of the house, heading straight for Davidâs courtyard.
âOld Mrs. Jones, arenât you afraid that Mr. David will be angry?â Rosie asked worriedly.
Old Mrs. Jones said confidently, âWhat are you afraid of? He will only thank me after today!â
Rosie was speechless.
â
The two of them stood at Davidâs door and pressed their ears so hard to the door, wishing that they
could press themselves into the door.
Even so, they still didnât hear anything.
âThat shouldnât be the case,â Confused, Old Mrs. Jones muttered to herself. âThe doctor said that my
hearing is very good. Why canât I hear anything now?â
Rosie, who was standing at the side, looked at Old Mrs. Jones and saw that she was sweating
profusely in frustration. She fought to suppress the smile on her face and said calmly, âOld Mrs. Jones,
could it be that Mr. David and Miss Grey are already asleep?â
âThatâs even more unlikely.â Old Mrs. Jones glanced at the wristwatch on her wrist and tapped her right
index finger on the dial. âIâve been keeping the time for them. It hasnât even been an hour!â
Rosie was speechless.
âHow hard must it be for this old lady to care about such things?â
However, no matter how hard they listened, they did not hear anything from inside the room.
Could it be that David really was impotent?!
