Chapter 361
Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David)
Chapter 361
However, Mary noticed that Rachelâs hands were empty.
Mary was about to get up and get a glass of wine for Rachel. She said, âJust a second.â
âMiss, would you like a glass of champagne?â At this moment, a uniformed waiter carrying a tray
appeared before Rachel. He respectfully handed the tray to Rachel. Mary did not doubt him. Thus,
Mary put down the empty glass and picked up another one.
When Mary was about to pass the glass to Rachel, the waiter took the lead and handed a glass to
Rachel.
Rachel looked at the glass before her and did not rush to take it. Instead, she meaningfully looked at
the waiter.
Rachelâs sharp gaze was like a knife as if nothing could escape her
eyes.
The waiterâs heart skipped a beat. He swallowed nervously and asked, âMiss, is anything wrong?â
After considering for a moment, Rachel reached out to take the glass and said calmly, âThank you.â
Standing in the corner, Jane was finally relaxed when she saw Rachel take the glass from the waiter.
Jane stared at Rachel, expecting Rachel to drink that glass of wine with drugs.
Jane shouted inside, âIt will be best if she drinks it all!â
Ever since Jane lost the competition with Rachel, Jane made up her mind to make Rachel pay for what
she had done.
Jane thought, âWithout David to back her up, Rachel will never be in the limelight.
âIf David abandons her, then Rachel will have nothing left!
âHowever, I want more than David to abandon Rachel. I want to make Rachel suffer so much that she
wants to die. I want to ruin her reputation and make her become a joke in Seaxas!â
Rachel held the glass and shook her wrist slightly. She was not in a hurry to drink
1. it.
Rachel was sensitive and noticed that a sinister and cold gaze in the corner was fixed on her.
Rachel raised her eyes and casually looked around. Then she saw Jane Smith
hiding behind the tall green plant.
Jane narrowed her eyes. Rachel realized an indistinct coldness in Janeâs eyes.
Jane sensed Rachelâs gaze. Thus, out of guilt, she subconsciously shrank into a dark corner.
Seeing this, Rachel sneered.
Rachel thought, âIt seems that someone will be so nervous if I donât drink this glass of wine.â
Mary watched Rachel play with the glass and vaguely sensed something. Mary frowned slightly and
became serious, asking, âIs there a problem with this glass?â
People from wealthy families had seen all kinds of methods. Drugging people secretly was one of the
most despicable methods.
It was also the method that Mary hated the most!
Rachel looked at Mary with a faint smile.
With that look, Mary instantly understood. When Mary was about to flare up, Rachel grabbed her hand
and said, âDonât alert the enemy.â
Mary asked, âWhatâs your plan?â Maryâs eyes flickered with excitement.
Rachel smirked and replied, âWeâll beat her at her own game.â
As she spoke, Rachel gently clinked her glass with Maryâs. Then, Rachel tilted her body slightly and
finished the wine.
Rachel put down the glass and smiled, âIâm a little tired. Iâll go back to my room and rest first.ââ
âNo problem,â replied Mary.
Then Rachel left the banquet hall and walked toward the guest room.
Rachel was walking slowly. It was like she did not feel well and could not walk at the usual speed.
Jane was stalking Rachel all the way. Seeing this, Jane thought her plan worked. Therefore, Jane
chased up to Rachel and said, âRachel Grey, do you feel hot all over now?â
