Chapter 493
Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David)
Chapter 493
Davidâs words were blatantly biased toward Rachel.
Anyone with discerning eyes could tell that it was not Rachel seducing David. It was clearly David was
willing.
However, Hannah was blinded by jealousy at that moment. How could she tell?
She could only hope she would expose Rachelâs true colors as soon as possible and let Mr. Jones
wake up sooner.
David raised his eyes and looked at Hannah expressionlessly.
His dark eyes were bottomless with a piercing sharpness.
Something in Hannahâs mind suddenly tensed up. Her eyes were filled with panic, as she clenched her
fists tightly.
âDo you want her to take off her clothes in public and give them to you?â The manâs voice was calm,
but his words were terrifyingly cold.
Hannah thought her words would arouse Davidâs suspicion of Rachel and cause him to despise
Rachel.
After all, the most annoying thing for men was that women played tricks on their backs.
However, it was as if David did not hear her at all.
Hannah met the manâs bottomless black eyes. Her heart felt like it was being gripped. She held her
breath and her body could not help but turn cold.
She suppressed the fear in her heart and stammered, explaining, âMy⦠my dress was ruined. To not
affect my upcoming schedule, I had no choice but to exchange my dress for Miss Grey. However, not
only did Miss Grey refuse to apologize, but she also refused to exchange the dresses. She even said
that I deliberately framed her and⦠even mocked me publicly for being rejected by you just nowâ¦â
David did not care about Hannahâs aggrieved look or whether her dress was ruined. âSo, you admit that
you forced her to take off her clothes in public, donât you?â
His tone was indifferent and slow, and every word he said made oneâs hair stand on end.
Everyone subconsciously held their breaths and tried their best to reduce their presence, afraid that the
fire would burn them.
Rachel looked up at the manâs side profile.
His sharp and handsome face seemed to have a layer of frost, and an imperceptible harshness hidden
beneath his eyes.
Rachel suddenly felt that perhaps the man with the indifferent posture and the domineering anger
between her eyebrows in front of her was who David was.
The gentleness in the past was because he had indulged her in every aspect.
She couldnât help but think about it. Ever since they met, he could lower himself and accommodate her
in every way.
At this moment, Old Mr. Shain rushed over after hearing the news. âMr. Jones, Iâm so sorry. Hannah
ruined your mood because of a little matter. Iâll get her to apologize to you now.â
As he spoke, he gave Hannah a look.
Hannah snorted angrily. âWhy should I apologize? It was Rachel who did the wrong thing. The matter
wouldnât have turned out like this if she hadnât ruined my dress! Rachel should be the one to
apologize.â
âYou!â Old Mr. Shain glared at her disappointedly.
He had investigated the matter thoroughly on his way here and found out it was all a trick played by
Hannah herself.
As long as she apologized nicely now, there was still a chance for the matter to turn around. However,
the idiot girl just wouldnât let it go!
Rachelâs lips curled into a cold smile. âMiss Shain, you really wonât give up until you are cornered,â said
she.
She paused and said unhurriedly, âTo ensure the safety and privacy of the surroundings, the Chamber
of Commerce is not only guarded by professional security personnel but is also equipped with high-
definition drone surveillance.â
Hannah had a bad feeling when she heard her.
