Chapter 548
Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David)
Chapter 548
Everyone looked up and saw Hell in a white suit walking over slowly.
His long blond hair was tied into a low ponytail at the back of his head. A few strands of hair hung down
from his forehead, covering his exquisite and deep
eyes.
Under the light, her amber pupils reflected a faint honey color, melancholic and cold.
Hell then pulled a chair over and sat down. He sighed softly. âThere arenât many people who dare to
cause trouble here.ââ
His tone was indifferent, but it carried a chilling deterrence.
Dale swallowed nervously and smiled awkwardly. âSo itâs Mr., Mr. Diekensâ¦â
No one knew the background of this man in front of them and what business his ancestors were in, but
it was known to all that as long as someone wanted something and could afford the corresponding
reward, he would be able to satisfy it.
As a result, people respected and feared him.
After all, the man was handsome, but he could be as cruel and vicious as he could when it came to
dealing with others.
âDid you just say someone cheated?â Hell asked.
Dale was stunned for a moment and quickly replied, âItâs her!â
Following the direction of his finger, Hellâs gaze naturally fell on Rachel.
Rachel suddenly met Hellâs gaze and held her breath.
The manâs amber eyes were deep and unfathomable. His gaze was sharp, making people feel as if
they had been seen through.
Rachel lowered her eyes and adjusted her breathing slightly. She looked up again and met his gaze
fearlessly. âMr. Diekens, right? Coincidentally, I have a business to discuss with you alone.â
âOh?â Hell raised his eyebrows slightly, his exquisite face looking even prettier. âBut it doesnât seem
appropriate to discuss business at this juncture. Why donât⦠we make a bet?â
Rachel looked up at him and frowned imperceptibly. She did not understand what the man in front of
her was up to.

âHow do you want to bet?â
Hell looked at her. His eyes suddenly became deep and unfathomable that Rachel
felt she had been seen through.
After a moment, he said casually, âIf you win, I can satisfy one of your requests.â
As soon as his voice died away, everyone around gasped.
Rumor had it that Mr. Diekens was very generous. With such a promise, wouldnât it be equivalent for
Rachel to make a fortune?
Rachelâs expression remained unchanged. She asked the waiter beside him for a c***ktail and asked,
âWhat if I lose?â
Hearing this, Hell raised his eyes and stared at her deeply.
It was like a ferocious beast staring at its prey, showing its determination to get it.
After a long while, he smirked. âIf so, youâll come with me tonight.â
In an instant, the atmosphere in the casino turned stiff.
Even though Rachel tried her best not to lose her composure, there was still a trace of shock in her
eyes.
She had not expected Hell to make such a request.
It should not be just a joke because the man exuded a cold and domineering aura. Every word was
powerful and carried an unquestionable aura.
Rachelâs eyes darkened and she said in an icy tone, âMr. Diekens, are you so sure that Iâll lose?â
âIâm confident I wonât lose,â Hell said.
His tone was calm, but his words were filled with arrogance.
Rachel said, narrowing her eyes, âI wonder what Mr. Diekens wants to play?â
âLetâs bet on luck.â
A minute later, the dealer stood in front of the table and dealt the cards methodically.
Rachel took a sip of the c***ktail and pried open a corner of the card. After seeing the number on the
card, she still remained calm.
