She snorted and turned to leave.

Richard smiled and tried to smooth things over. “Bertha doesn’t mean anything else. She only feels

sorry for you. After all, you know how innocent she is.”

After the two left, only Olivia and Louis were left in the dressing room.

Olivia facepalmed herself and smiled sweetly at Louis.

Her smile broke Louis’s heart. He held Olivia’s hand and said, “Olivia, don’t worry. I will never let you

down in this life.”

“Of course, I know that.” Olivia stood on tiptoe and kissed him on the lips.

Coincidentally, Olivia’s phone rang at this moment. When she saw it was Marina calling, her eyes

“I didn’t expect you to come today.” Louis looked at Rachel in front of him, and a hint of joy crept into

He scanned Rachel from head to toe. He felt that Rachel was even more eye-catching today than

Rachel’s lips curled into a mocking smile. “Why can’t I come?”

running over from afar.

She quickly ran to Rachel and glanced at Louis. Instantly, disgust washed over her face as if she had

seen unsightly trash.

He frowned slightly. “Aren’t you here for me?”

Rachel sneered. “Mr. Smith, you think too highly of yourself.”

“Rachel?” Mrs. Smith’s voice came from behind.

When she saw Rachel appear, she instantly rushed to her in her high heels as if she was facing a great

enemy. “Why are you here? What are you trying to do? I’m warning you, today is Louis and Olivia’s

engagement party. You’d better behave yourself, or the Smith family will never let you off!”

Rachel did not care about Mrs. Smith’s warning at all. She raised her eyes and glanced at Louis

indifferently before saying, “Congratulations, your wish finally came true.”

Rachel was too lazy to talk further to Louis. She followed Mary to the outdoor lawn at the back of the

hotel.

Louis stood rooted to the ground as he watched the two leave. He vaguely heard Mary say, “Yulia is

really unlucky. She chose such an unlucky day.”

“You are right,” Rachel said lightly.

The two of them walked to the fountain and happened to meet a man in a white shirt.

When the man saw Rachel and Mary, he could not hide the joy on his face. “I was wondering why it

was shining so brightly here. So it’s because of you two beauties.”

“What are you doing here?” Rachel looked at the man in front of her.

Hanson approached them and naturally wrapped his arm around Rachel’s shoulder. “Of course, I’m

here to earn money to support you.”

“Speak properly. Don’t be so touchy.” Rachel coldly glanced at his arm.

“We haven’t seen each other for so long, and you’re still so strict.” Hanson pursed his lips and leaned

closer to Rachel. “It’s been quite some time since we met. Don’t you miss me at all? My arms have

always been open for you.”
