Chapter 733
Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David)
Chapter 733
The look on Rachelâs face immediately turned cold. She turned around and quickly walked out to check
what just happened. But there was no one in the corridor except for the broken pieces of china on the
floor.
She slowly raised her eyes and stared at the other side of the corridor.
âWhatâs wrong?â In the video, Mary noticed the coldness on Rachelâs face and could not help but worry.
âWhat happened?â
âEverything is alright.â The expression on Rachelâs face softened a little. She pursed her lips and
explained, âMaybe a servant passed by accidentally knocked over a vase.â
She continued chatting with Mary until she heard footsteps behind her.
âI gotta go now. Weâll talk more about it when I go back to Seaxas.â
âOkay.â
After hanging up the video call, Rachel looked at the man walking over.
Blackhawk walked over with one hand in his pocket and pouted at her. âWanna go out for a walk?â
Rachel nodded and walked side by side with Blackhawk to the back garden. âHave you found out what
I asked you to search?â
Ever since Vulture showed her a photo of Sophia, Rachel started investigating.
She did not know if the other party was worried that she would find any clues. After the photo was
leaked, the other party quickly withdrew their request for an investigation, so much so that the direction
of her investigation was suddenly cut off.
Blackhawk took a piece of gum from his pocket and flicked it right into his mouth.
âThe other party exposed their IP address for a few seconds. Although it was only a few seconds, with
Lone Wolfâs technical skills, itâs enough for him to locate and track them down.â Blackhawk looked at
Rachel. He knew that she was anxious, but this kind of thing could not be done so fast.
They didnât even know what the other partyâs intentions were.
He raised his hand and grabbed Rachelâs skinny shoulder. âLetâs wait a little longer. Itâll come out soon.â
Rachel lowered her head and kicked the pebbles in front of her feet. âI hope I can get the results as
soon as possible.â
There were too many things troubling her when she came to Aureliana this time. She desperately
hoped to get an answer.
As she was thinking, she heard the voices of a few people talking behind her.
âhel looked in the direction of the voice and saw David walking at the front.
The man was wearing a black shirt and a pair of black suit pants. He had one hand in his pocket and
his footsteps were slow and casual, but his overwhelming aura was captive enough to attract
everyoneâs attention.
David sensed something and looked up.
Then they suddenly locked eyes.
He took out his hand from his pocket and opened his palm to Rachel.
Rachel couldnât help but smile when she saw him do that with no words being said. Without any
hesitation, she walked- towards David.
She had completely forgotten about Blackhawk, who was standing beside her.
Blackhawk watched as she leaned forward, her eyes rolling so hard that they almost reached the back
of her head. âLove over friendship!â
And she said that they were best mates who had gone through hell together.
Phew!
It was all bullshit when it came to that man!
When Rachel walked to Davidâs side, he instantly held her hand.
Georgia, who was following behind, had a subtle look on her face,
The conversation between Rachel and Mary was still echoing in her head.
Seeing how Jimmy defended Kachel, she thought that this woman was extraordinary. It turned out that
Rachel had been married before.
She was already married, but she still shamelessly seduced David.
How could such a person be worthy of being with David and becoming the Jones familyâs mistress?
Georgiaâs eyes narrowed as she watched David and Rachel holding hands. A ruthless and cold glint
flickered in her eyes. There must be nothing more satisfying in this world than revealing Rachelâs true
self in front of them, right?
Although tonightâs farewell banquet was called a banquet, it was just a gathering of some good friends
chatting and having a drink together.
The few of them sat around the bonfire, drinking and chatting. There was a lamb roasting on the rack.
The fragrance of the roasted meat filled the air, building up the cozy atmosphere.
âI donât usually show this craft to other people.â Jimmy rolled up his sleeves and cut the meat into thin
and even pieces. âRachel, try it and see how it tastes.â
Rachel took the plate and tasted a slice of the meat. The taste was just right and the seasoning didnât
cover the deliciousness of the mutton at all. âGood.â
âI thought you didnât like this.â Blackhawk looked at Rachel with a bottle of beer in his hand.
In the past, Rachel could not stand the smell of mutton. She could not even tolerate the smell of it, let
alone eat it.
Rachel put down the plate in her hand and said calmly, âI can barely eat a slice or two.â
Blackhawk frowned slightly and put down the beer in his hand. He casually took the plate in front of
Rachel and said with a serious expression, âDonât eat it if you donât it. Since when did you suffer for
others?â
Back then, they had treated Twelve like a treasure and could not bear to see her suffer even the
slightest grievance. Knowing that she did not like the smell of mutton, they stopped eating mutton for
more than a year for Twelve.
Now, Twelve forced herself to eat it for the sake of other people.
How could Blackhawk tolerate this?
Blackhawk didnât think much when he said that but someone overthought it. Moreover, Georgia already
didnât like Rachel to begin with.
At this moment, seeing that Blackhawk was so indulgent towards Rachel, Georgia picked up her beer
and took a sip. She looked at Rachel with disdain and mockery.
She was such a vixen.
Vulture from the Red Flame Army favored her, and now it was Blackhawk. Perhaps everyone in the
Red Flame Army had slept with her.
Actually, now that Georgia thought about it, she assumed that a woman with such good looks must
have nothing to offer but being the social butterfly if she only hung out with a bunch of men.
As Georgia thought of this, a crazy thought crossed her mind.
Under the influence of alcohol, Georgia couldnât give a damn about staying calm anymore.
Her mind was filled with thoughts of tearing apart Rachelâs fake mask so that David could see her true
colors!
Georgia chugged the beer in the can and threw it on the table.
The crisp sound instantly attracted everyoneâs attention.
She cleared her throat. âLetâs not just sit around. How about we play some games?â
âWhat game do you want to play?â Jimmy was quite bored right now. Hearing her words, he
immediately perked up. âTell me, do you want to drink or roll the dice?â
Upon hearing this, Georgia smiled faintly. âWe used to play that all the time and itâll be a bummer if we
play that again.â
It sounded like she was trying to show off.
âMiss Grey, speaking of which, this is your first time visiting Aureliana. Why donât you come up with a
game to play?â Georgia looked at Rachel.
Rachel looked her in the eye and vaguely sensed a hint of provocation.
