Chapter 734
Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David)
Chapter 734
The moment Rachel met her eyes and sensed her hostility, she vaguely guessed something.
Suddenly, Rachelâs red lips curled into a bright smile. âWhy donât we play the simplest game of dice?â
âAre you sure?â Georgia couldnât hide the joy in her eyes.
Then Thomas said, âThatâs Georgiaâs game. She has never lost in this game since she was young. Itâs
definitely not good for you to play this with her.â
Hearing this, Rachel raised her eyebrows slightly, and a meaningful smile flashed across her eyes.
Never lost since she was young?
Coincidentally, Rachel had never lost at this game before either.
Seeing that Rachel was silent, Georgia was afraid that she would regret it. She quickly said, âThomas,
this is Miss Greyâs first time coming to our Aureliana as a guest. Shouldnât we show our hospitality?
Since she has decided to roll the dice, weâre happy to cooperateâ¦â
As she spoke, Landonâs eyes under his glasses were filled with warning as he looked at her.
As her elder brother, how could he not know what Georgia was thinking?
He thought that he had already made his words clear enough. He had no idea what was wrong with her
today. She actually dared to set Rachel up.
Landon was not worried that his sister would defeat Rachel, but he was worried that Georgia would
regret it in the end.
Ever since he met Rachel, no one who targeted Rachel had benefited.
He was worried that his own sister would suffer.
âItâs just a game.â Sensing Landonâs warning gaze, Georgia seemed to be speaking to him. âItâs rare for
everyone to gather here together. I donât know when weâll meet again, but we can still play a game
before parting. Whether we win or lose, itâs just for fun. Besides, Miss Grey doesnât look like a sore
loser.â
When Rachel heard this, she gave her a cold and subtle smile.
Originally, Rachel was just going with the flow. However, when she saw how Georgia was afraid that
she would regret it, Rachel could not help but feel intrigued.
âIâd like that.â
Georgia heaved a sigh of relief when she heard Rachel say yes.
She took a deep breath and tried to suppress the excitement in her heart.
Georgia had been playing at the gambling table with the elders of her family since she was young. To
her, the dice were even more obedient than her dog.
Between the drinking game and the dice, Rachel chose the latter. Georgia felt like even God was on
her side.
Thinking of this, Georgia lowered her eyes to hide the coldness in them.
Even though she tried her best to suppress her excitement, Jimmy and Landon still noticed the subtle
expression on her face.
They wondered if they should call Georgia overconfident or stupid,
Had she never heard that there was always someone better than her?
As she was thinking, Thomas looked at Rachel and could not help but ask, âHave you really thought it
through?â
Hearing this, Rachel looked up at him. âIs there anything wrong?â
Seeing her ignorant look, Thomas really couldnât bear to see her being kept in the dark.
Just as he was about to tell her all the games Georgia had won since she was young, Georgia spoke
first, âThomas, Miss Grey agreed to play this game. I think she has a chance of winning. Besides, weâre
just having fun. Why do you have to persuade Miss Crey out of this like that?â
Fine, it was his fault for talking too much.
Thomas couldnât say anything more when it came to this.
He took a puff of his cigarette and crushed it in the mud on the lawn. âTell me, whatâs the punishment if
one of you loses?â
He only hoped that Georgia would be considerate enough and give some points to Rachel later so that
the situation would not be too embarrassing.
Georgia pondered for a moment. âHow about truth or dare? The winner asks the loser a question. If he
refuses to answer, heâll drink three glasses. How about that?â
Hearing this, Thomas secretly heaved a sigh of relief. âIâm fine with that.â
He looked up at Jimmy and Landon and they didnât have any problems with that either.
âWhat about Blackhawk?â Thomas looked at Blackhawk who was sitting cross-legged beside Rachel.
âAre you interested in playing this game?â
Hearing this, Blackhawk looked at Rachel. âIâll play if she wants to.â
He knew what Twelve was capable of. He had also been taught a lesson by her before, so he would
not lose too badly.
However, when Georgia heard this, she automatically misinterpreted his words.
Especially when she saw Blackhawk looking at Rachel, a hint of mockery flashed in the depths of
Georgiaâs eyes.
These two were definitely not just friends!
âMiss Grey?â Georgia raised her eyes and looked at her. The smile on her lips revealed a hint of
provocation.
âThen letâs play.â Rachel smiled. âMaybe my luck is better than Miss Walkerâs, right?â
Her nonchalant gaze was filled with mockery. It was as if she had seen through Georgiaâs thoughts.
Georgiaâs heart skipped a beat, and she was suddenly speechless.
She calmed herself down a little. âThen letâs begin.â
A few minutes later, Billy and Yann brought in a table and prepared the dice cup and three dice.
The seven of them sat around the table and threw the dice into the dice cup, shaking it casually.
The dice made a crisp sound when they hit the dice cup.
Compared to the others, Georgia was in a good mood. She shook the dice cup in her hand with
confidence.
A few seconds later, she placed the dice cup on the table and looked around confidently.
However, she noticed that Rachel only shook it a few times like she was new to this and had never
played this game before.
Georgia lowered her eyes to hide the mocking smile in her eyes.
Could it be that Rachel was really dumb? Did she only rely on luck to play dice?!
âWhoâs going to open first?â Georgia looked around and pretended to be polite.
Seeing that everyone was looking at each other, she said again, âSince none of you are saying
anything, Iâll open it first.â
With that, she opened the dice cup.
Thomasâs expression turned gloomy when he saw that all three dice had sixes facing up. âThree sixes.
No wonder youâre smiling so happily.â
âThomas, if I let you win, Iâm afraid you guys wonât be able to enjoy yourselves, right?â Georgia pouted
at him. âOpen it and take a look.â
Thomas opened the dice cup. One was five points, two were four points, a total of thirteen points.
He opened it counterclockwise, followed by Landon and Jimmy. Fourteen and eleven oâclock,
respectively.
Following closely behind was the Blackhawk.
He opened up a bottle of beer with one hand and opened the dice cup. Everyone focused their eyes on
his dice and saw that it was 17 points.
This number was only inferior to Georgiaâs 18 points. At the very least, she could avoid the punishment
of Truth or Dare.
âDavid, itâs your turn.â Georgia looked at David and Rachel with a smile.
David glanced at Rachel. The two of them smiled and opened the dice cup in front of them at the same
time.
