Chapter 90
Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David)
The sky was gloomy and dark clouds were rolling. There were very few people on the streets. The
lively car racing track in the east of the city was a little out of place.
This track was one of the few racing venues in the country that was used to hold the FIA Formula 1
World Championship. It was only open to the public every year when there was a rally or a friendly
competition.
At this moment, three cars of different colors were roaring at the starting point of the track, as if they
were provoking each other.
As the referee waved the flag in his hand, the three cars instantly rushed out like wild horses.
Although it was said to be a simple match when they came, easy to arouse a manâs desire to win on
the track.

The competition became more and more intense. These three cars were almost evenly matched.
After five laps, the black Aventador driven by David successfully crossed the line, followed by Landon,
and the last was Jimmy.
After the three of them got out of the car, a few staff members immediately went forward to check on
the cars.
Jimmy took off his helmet and shook his messy hair. âFuck! Letâs compete again!â
Losing just like that made Jimmy very unconvinced.
Landon smiled. âItâs useless no matter how many rounds we compete in.â
âLandon, you are so boring. I was holding back just now. If you have the gut, compete with me again.â
Jimmy looked at Landonâs back away and quickly chased after him.
Landon raised his hand, pulled open the collar of his protective suit, and said casually, âItâs so boring to
bully noobs.â
Jimmy was so angry that he raised his middle finger at Landonâs back. When Jimmy turned around, he
realized that David was holding the helmet in one hand and thinking about something. âDavid, what are
you looking at?â
âDidnât it say it would rain tonight?â
âWhat?â Jimmy was stunned for a moment and then looked up at the sky. âWho knows? Maybe it wonât
rain.â
As soon as Jimmy finished speaking, David left directly.
Jimmy and Landon came out of the changing room and saw David standing in front of the floorâtoâ
ceiling windows with one hand in his pocket and staring at the sky not far away.
âDo you think David has something on his mind? Otherwise, why would he be so looking forward to a
rainy day?â
Landon followed Jimmyâs gaze and looked over. A playful smile flashed across Landonâs eyes.
âPerhaps he was dumped?â
âWhat kind of huge joke is that?â Jimmy quickly waved his hand. âHeâs not even in love. How can he be
dumped?â
Besides, with Davidâs rich financial resources, as long as he just stood there, thousands of hundreds of
women would volunteer to approach him. As far as Jimmy was concerned, it was totally impossible for
David to be dumped.
Landon did not say anything, but there was a faint meaningful smile on his lips.
As the two of them were discussing, they suddenly heard David say lightly, âItâs raining.â
It was just a simple sentence, but it made Jimmy and Landon sensitively feel Davidâs contentment.
The two of them looked at each other with a flash of mockery in their eyes.
David was too strange today. There must be something fishy going
1. on.
âDidnât you find anything fishy when you went to Sandalwood Hills?â Landon asked lightly.
Jimmy thought for a moment. âWhat can there be? Thereâs nothing!â
Landon clicked his tongue and sighed from the bottom of his heart. âHow stupid.â
Seeing Jimmyâs unconvinced expression, Landon continued, âSince Sandalwood Hills was built, when
has he ever taken the initiative to go back?â
âAre you saying that David is hiding a woman in Sandalwood Hills?â Jimmy instantly understood, and
his eyes flickered with
excitement. âOh my god! Looks like I have to go to Sandalwood Hills again tonight.â
Landon patted Jimmyâs shoulder heavily and said meaningfully, âFeel free to go ahead. Iâll go visit your
grave next year.â
Jimmy couldnât help but roll his eyes.
