Chapter 309 Thank you for the offer, but I have some errands to run after I leave the mountain, I wonât be able to visit Fletcher Estate this time: 1 hope you understand.â Eliza politely declined.
Grant looked a little disappointed but quickly perked up. âNo problem at all! Please, Your Grace, attend to your other matters, Just tell me where I can find you later.â
Seeing Grantâs insistence. Eliza sighed. âIâm going to Prince Regentâs estate now,â she said. âIf youâd like, you could come with me.â
The Prince Regentâs estate?â Grant froze, a headache building behind his eyes. The thought of Nolan filled him with unease; his cold. commanding presence could unnerve anyone, Grant reluctantly agreed to deliver the gift heâd carefully prepared. âAlright then, to the Prince Regentâs estate it isâ
Elizaâs carriage eventually arrived at the Prince Regentâs estate, its grandeur immediately giving Grant pause. Flustered, he told Eliza. Tll retrieve the gift first, Your Grace. Please proceed without me.â
He didnât wait for an answer, spinning on his heel and running as if he expected the gates to swing open with Nolan in pursuit.
Just as the carriage neared the gates, a tall figure emerged. Nolanâs imposing presence was undeniable as his sharp gaze settled on Elizaâs carriage, as if he had been expecting her.
Nolan purposefully stepped forward when the carriage stopped, ignoring Reneeâs assistance. Instead, he reached out and firmly took Elizaâs hand Renee was puzzled. Eliza was startled when Nolan suddenly grabbed her hand. She instinctively tried to pull away, but his grip was firm, leaving her flustered.
âWhy are you waiting? Come in. Lawrence is expecting you,â Nolan said.
Eliza thought, How could ! keep the renowned Sage ge of Medicine waiting? She quickly disembarked from the carriage.
Guided by Nolan, they reached the reception hall of the Prince Regentâs estate, where Lawrence awaited them. Lawrence bowed. âMy greetings. Your Grace.â
âPlease, Lord Larson, thereâs no need to stand on ceremony. Have a sent.â Eliza g gestured for him to sit down and then sat beside Nolan.
Once everyone had settled in, Eliza didnât waste any time. âLord Larson,â she began directly, âdo you know why Iâm here today?â
Lawrence nodded towards Nolan, âAs Prince Nolan mentioned, my needle technique is quite ordinary, but Iâm happy to share what I know with Your Grace.â
âThanks for being willing to teach me, Lord Larson.â
Eliza gestured for Renee to come forward. Renee approached the table and carefully placed a gift before Eliza and Lawrence.
âJust a small token of my appreciation, Eliza said âI hope you like them, Lord Larson.â
Lawrence railed an eyebrow, a little surprised. Elizaâs thoughtfulness impressed him; sheâd even brought gifts to their lesson.
Seeing the abundance, including a sizable wooden box and many wellâchosen gifts, all meaningful and sincere, Lawrence smiled and said. âSince itâs Your Graceâs thoughtful gesture, Iâd be honored to accept.â
He planned to open it later to see what was inside, but with a bright smile, Eliza suggested, âThis box contains a medicinal herb, Lord Larson Perhaps you should open it now and see if it suits your needs?â
Lawrenceâs eyes in up with excitement when he heard it was a medicinal herb. He remembered how Nolan had helped Eliza before and been rewarded twice.
Both times, the were scarce, and the herbs were valuable. Lawrence felt a surge of anticipation. The wooden box clicked open, revealing enormous shroom, each the size of a washbasin.
Lawrener was so astonished that his jaw almost dropped. âMy goodness!â he exclaimed, incredulous.
Lawrence thought. Am I dreaming? Such a gigantic shroom! It must be scarce! It looked as if the Scarce Shroom had just been dug up! How can she call this magnificent treasure a modest gift?
Chapter 309 Lawrence stared in disbelief. Your Grace, you are too generous! Are you sure you want to give such a Scarce Shroom to me?â
Lord Larson, this was specially prepared for you. Your needle techniques are invaluable, far more so than this small gift. Itâs an honor to be your student. Eliza replied warmly.
Lawrence Larson was filled with awe and gratitude as he listened. He deeply breathed and said sincerely, âPlease donât worry, Your Grace. Iâll teach you.
Lawrence thought. She deserves in âIâll be counting on you then, Lord Larson, Eliza nodded politely. As she reached for her cup, her hand grazed a wooden box on the table, drawing Lawrenceâs attention to its faint sound.
Lawrenceâs curiosity was piqued. âYour Grace,â he began, âis this another gift youâve prepared?â
Elizaâs face clouded with thought. That reminds me,â she said. âThis was meant for Prince Nolan, but I havenât given it to him yet because Iâm not sure itâs authenticâ
Elizaâs words immediately piqued Lawrence Larsonâs interest, even causing Nolan to raise an eyebrow in surprise.
Not sure about a gift you received? Let me have a look! Iâm quite good at deciphering these things â Iâve seen it it all Lawrence declared Confidently, thumping his chest with pride.
Nolan shot Lawrence a look sharp enough to cut glass. âIf itâs meant for me. shouldnât I look at it firs{â
Lawrence laughed nervously. âWeâre not sure if itâs real yet, so it canât hurt to let me see it first.â
Ignoring him, Nolan turned to Eliza, his voice softening. âReal or not, the thought behind it matters. Eliza could bring him joy with any gifi, no matter what it was, Eliza raised an eyebrow, teasing with a smile, âWhy donât we all examine it together? Lord Larson might be surprised by what we find âWhat?â Lawrenceâs eyes widened in disbelief. âYour Grace,â he exclaimed, his expertise challenged. âThe more you insist on more curious I become!
that.
the Please, Prince Nolan, open it! Show me whatâs insider Nolan took the wooden box, glanced at Eliza, and slowly opened it. Inside lay a single, mysterious flower. âWhat kind of flower is this?â he asked Lawrence stared at the flower, astounded. âIâve never seen a flower like this beforeâ
