Chapter 252 - Capital First High School

Lu Huaiyu chose a barbecue restaurant.

They both sat facing each other inside the small private room.

Lu Huaiyu cut a thick slab of black beef into small pieces and patiently put it on the grill.

The aroma of grilled meat gradually filled the air.

Ning Li held her cup and took a sip of buckwheat tea.

Lu Huaiyu glanced at her and saw her relaxed eyes.

He could not help but laugh. “Are you that happy?”

Ning Li’s eyes curved as she nodded.

“Mhmm. Thanks, Second Brother.”

Her eyes were extremely beautiful with thick and long eyelashes that curled up naturally.

The light reflected off her eyes like the moonlight spilling onto a lake, bright and radiant.

Lu Huaiyu raised an eyebrow.

“Capital First High? The plum blossoms in the garden are quite nice. You can check it out when you have the time.”

Only then did Ning Li remember that Capital First High School was also Lu Huaiyu’s alma mater.

However, he had only attended high school there for a year or so before he had gotten into Xijing University.

“Okay.” Ning Li responded.

The two weeks of training were completely closed off, so Ning Li would only be able to go around inside the school campus.

“By the way, the training is pretty strict on phone usage. It looks like we will only be allowed to use our phones for a while at night, so I guess I won’t be able to reply to your messages during that time.”
