Chapter 1070

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

? ? ? ? ?

“Casey, I've come to take you home!” Every step Davey took left a constant trail of blood droplets across the restaurant.

Casey's complexion instantly drained of color, consumed by fear. She grabbed onto the owner's arm in a panic, pleading, "That's the person who kidnapped me. Please don't let him take me!"

The owner's previously friendly neighbor changed abruptly as she shook Casey. She murmured in an unknown dialect that Casey couldn't understand.

Despite not understanding the dialect, Casey sensed that the owner was conveying her unwillingness to help her.

Clearly frightened, the owner quickly snatched the phone out of Casey's hand and took refuge behind the counter.

With no other option, Casey asked the diners for help. Surrounded by more than thirty people in the restaurant, she refused to believe that not a single one would stand up for justice.

In a foreign language, Casey screamed: “Help me! Help me! This man is dangerous. He’s trying to capture me…”

Seeing Davey, the customers' eyes only revealed fear as they kept their heads down, focused on their meals, oblivious to the commotion.

Casey was completely baffled by the unfolding events. She grabbed onto the arm of a stranger and spoke quietly to make sure Davey couldn't hear her. "Please inform the Clifford family that I am Casey..."

The man trembled as if he encountered a plague, quickly pushing Casey away.

Casey remained naively unaware of the harsh reality of Aurora. She was in the lower-class neighborhood of Aurora, where Davey's bearing and the diamond brooch he wore on his chest clearly indicated his noble status.

Furthermore, the black license plate on his car, a symbol of arrogance, was an exclusive privilege of military officers.

military. How could these lower-class citizens dare to meddle in the affairs of Aurora's most influential nobility!

Casey was desperate! In the restaurant, more than thirty people were coldly watching the scene unfold.

He came to the conclusion that he could no longer rely on others, relying solely on his own strength. Grabbing a nearby chair, he quickly threw it at Davey and tried to dash past him as he dodged the flying furniture.

Unexpectedly, as she brushed past him, Davey quickly dodged the chair and grabbed her hair, pulling hard!

"Ah!" Casey's head collided sharply with the corner of the table, and blood began to flow uncontrollably.

Crouching down, Davey gently touched the blood on his forehead with his elongated fingers, then, strangely, proceeded to lick his blood-stained fingers.

“Casey, your constant disappointment weighs heavily on me,” Davey murmured softly and sweetly.

Witnessing his actions, Casey trembled uncontrollably. Suddenly, she lowered her head. “Ugh, ugh, ugh!” She couldn't suppress the urge to vomit.

Having not consumed anything this morning, all I could expel was stomach acid.

His stomach churned, however, as if it were engulfed in flames. Davey and the apathetic crowd added to his despair and disgust.

Davey didn't say another word, he effortlessly picked her up by the scruff of her neck like she was a little chicken, and carried her away.

Despite the blood staining her face, Casey desperately clung to a table leg, fiercely resisting attempts to drag her away.

Davey, his patience exhausted, grabbed one of her legs and pulled her out headfirst.

Casey's hands trailed across the ground, leaving a crimson trail behind them. She was determined not to let herself be captured again. She realized that returning this time would mean a permanent absence from the warmth of the sun's rays.
