Chapter 1095:

As she turned to leave, Mitchel stopped her. âHow long until the blood tests are finished after I take them?â
The doctor paused, puzzled as to why they needed to test the blood they had just drawn. She explained, âIt will take at least forty minutes, and if there are a lot of people, it can take up to ninety minutes or more.â
âIn that case, forget it,â Mitchel declared firmly.
This reminder started Erick and Stefan awake. The guy had been hinting that Raegan might inject a medical worker with a virus.
In that case, untested blood should never be used. No one was willing to risk Raegan's life!
The doctor was perplexed. âBut even if we were to transport the blood bags by helicopter, it would take more than four hours. Besides, the wind and snow tonight are too strong to fly. It may not arrive until tomorrow. The patient cannot wait that long.â
Erick was worried. His blood type didn't match Raegan's, nor Stefan's.
Mitchel said, âUse mine.â
The doctor asked, "Are you blood type B?"
Mitchel replied: âI am of the Rhnull blood type.â
The doctor was shocked. It was a special kind of golden blood. Anyone could receive his blood, and it would match perfectly.
Erick raised his eyebrows. It made sense that Mitchel's blood type wasn't on public record. If enemies knew about such a rare blood type, it could cause trouble. Casually revealing it could lead to lethal consequences.
âButâ¦â The doctor hesitated. âThe amount of blood you can donate alone is not sufficient for the patient's needs. Given her current rate of bleeding, we would need the equivalent of five donors to ensure she has enough.â
Mitchel grew impatient. He rolled up his sleeves, stepped forward and declared: âThen keep mining until we have enough!â
The doctor hesitated.
Erick also felt anxious. Extracting the equivalent of five donations from a single person did not seem safe. Wouldn't it almost exhaust Mitchel?
"What are you waiting for?" Mitchel ignored his concerns and threatened the doctor: "If anything happens to him, I won't let the surgeons get away with it!"
The doctor started in fright, stuttering.
Erick suggested, "Let's start with a little blood now and I'll take care of the rest." He couldn't bear the thought of Raegan suffering.
When Mitchel walked in, he found Raegan on the delivery bed, her hair drenched in sweat. He sat down beside her, grabbed her hand, and motioned to the doctor, âDraw blood here.â
While the transfusion was starting, the doctor tried several methods to stop Raegan's bleeding, but none were effective.
Mitchel had given Raegan 802 ml of blood for the first time, but it didn't help much.
The doctor estimated that Raegan had lost over 2500 ml of blood and was continuing to lose more.
In context, a normal adult had about 4000 ml of blood, and such a loss without timely replacement was usually fatal.
