Chapter 1309

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 1309:

? ? ? ? ?

Nicole's eyes were shining with anticipation. Turning to Deniz, she declared, “As long as you help me get what I need, I promise you a clean escape from this mess, and we will both benefit immensely.”

Deniz scoffed. “Are you kidding me? Do you really think you have the means to do this?”

His skepticism was palpable. He found it hard to believe that Nicole, seemingly so fragile and insignificant, could be his ticket out of this mess and into riches.

Unfazed, Nicole said, “I assure you that the suburban project will be yours.”

“The suburban project?” Deniz repeated, surprised. It was a lucrative venture. Securing it meant a secure future. But…

“It's a Schultz Group company. How on earth can you insure it?” Deniz doubted Jarrod would be willing to part with it, especially for Nicole, a woman Deniz considered old-fashioned. Furthermore, Jarrod's main goal was always to maximize his profits.

Nicole challenged: “Deniz, are you willing to bet with me and see for yourself?”

Deniz examined Nicole's face. Despite her tattered appearance, her eyes shone with unwavering confidence. Maybe she was more than she seemed.

On impulse, Deniz nodded and said, “Okay, let’s make that bet.”

Winning could transform his life. Even if Nicole was cheating on him, he had nothing to lose.

Deniz looked at Nicole coldly and warned her, “Keep your word. “I’ll trust you for now, but if I detect the slightest hint of deception, you’re a dead man!”

Unfazed, Nicole simply replied, “I’ll be here.”

“You’ve got guts, Miss Lawrence,” Deniz commented sarcastically.

"By the way, I remember that Mr. Schultz took your son away from you," he added nonchalantly.

Deniz chuckled grimly, his face lined with sinister lines. “I hope your wish to reunite with your son comes true soon.”

His words served to remind Nicole that her life, although insignificant to her, still had value as leverage through her son.

That child was his weak point.

Nicole's fingers clenched tightly, pain throbbing in her heart, threatening to draw blood. Everyone knew that a child was a mother's weak point, and exploiting that vulnerability was unfailingly effective.

Livid, Nicole felt that such despicable people, who committed such vile acts, definitely deserved the punishment of the law!

Raising the corner of her lips subtly, careful not to let Deniz see her tension, Nicole said, “Deniz, don't worry. The person plotting against you is also on my hit list. “We’re in this together.”

Deniz grunted and muttered, “I hope so,” and slammed the door behind her as she left.

Nicole's body swayed slightly before collapsing onto the couch.

Such a narrow victory in the midst of dealing with Deniz. He had finally managed to turn that menacing figure into his ally.

Nicole's father had once advised her that before she was strong enough to face a problem alone, it was wise to turn potential threats into temporary allies. This alliance could bring her unforeseen benefits.
