Chapter 331

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

? ? ? ? ?

Elin replied in a calm tone: "Maybe it's because you were so tense?"

Glancing at Elin, Raegan asked, "When you and Dayton were together, did he ever get rough when you kissed?"

Elin shook her head and replied, "We never had sex."

Dayton, on the surface, seemed like a respectable man, but under that facade he was anything but.

At first, his aggression towards Elin began by hitting her after consuming alcohol. Over time, his attacks became more frequent and were not limited only to his drunken states.

During her two years of marriage, Elin lived in a constant state of fear. Dayton had threatened to kill his mother if she ever spoke out about his abusive behavior.

This prolonged abuse caused Elin to become increasingly shy and, tragically, she began to see it as normal.

If Raegan hadn't stumbled upon the truth and asked Erick for help to intervene, Elin might have remained in that distressing marriage indefinitely.

Elin remembered the last moments of their separation, when Dayton hugged her, cried, and said, "You know I love you, Elin. Really".

Those words terrified Elin so much that she fainted right there. The mere thought of Dayton's statement gave him chills.

Eyes wide with shock, Raegan asked in disbelief, “So, Elin, you're still a virgin?”

Elin shook her head and said, “Not exactly.”

Although Elin had done it before, her memories of that first experience were far from pleasant.

They were both inexperienced and young at the time, which made the encounter more awkward than beautiful. That was her only experience of physical intimacy with a man.

Elin vividly remembered Erick's indifference as he approached her bed.

He always exuded coldness and arrogance, like a king ruling his kingdom. She had always assumed it would go on like this forever.

However, it was only after seeing how Erick valued Raegan and Janey that Elin realized the transformative power of genuine care.

Erick's facial expressions changed noticeably when he was with them.

Elin thought that she simply didn't deserve so much affection and care from him. But now, those days were part of his past.

On the third day, Mitchel sent his men to invite Raegan to his office for a meeting.

Believing that Mitchel had finally agreed to the divorce, Raegan put the necessary documents in her bag and headed to the company with Matteo.

Arriving at the office, Raegan found Mitchel engrossed in paperwork. He was dressed in a white shirt that accentuated his strong physique. He seemed deeply focused on his work, which only enhanced his striking features.

Raegan admitted that she was momentarily captivated by his appearance.

While waiting on the couch, Matteo brought out a variety of soft drinks.

However, her interest in the food soon waned and she felt compelled to ask, "Mr. Dixon, when can we start?" It's getting late. “We should go to court soon, or the staff will leave for today.”

Mitchel raised his head. He seemed detached as he commented, “Why such a rush? Why not listen to my proposal first?

“What do you mean by that?” Raegan was so infuriated by Mitchel's words that she found herself momentarily speechless. She should have known that Mitchel wouldn't abandon her so easily. His suspicions were confirmed.

Mitchel got straight to the point. “If you agree to spend a month with me from now on, I will sign the divorce papers after the month we share and accompany you to the courthouse for the divorce proceedings.”

This struck Raegan as a manipulative tactic, one that made her tremble with rage. She replied vehemently: “Not even in your dreams! "I'd rather be with a dog than spend another moment with you!"

"Peaceful. I'm not going to ask you for anything. Just know that you can't hide from me all month long. You will have to be with me whenever you are free,” Mitchel said nonchalantly. What he really wanted was to spend more time with Raegan.

"That won't be possible!" Raegan shouted. I didn't want to spend any time with Mitchel.

«Well, if you insist on filing for divorce, which could take like two or even five years, go ahead. Forward. My legal team will never let me down. You can go now, if that's all. Mitchel returned to his work and ignored Raegan as if she weren't there.

Raegan was filled with unimaginable rage and resentment. «Are you really that bored, Mr. Dixon? I'll hire someone to be with you instead. What do you think? Whether it's five hundred thousand or five million, I don't care! "I will pay for it."

Mitchel glared at her. «I need you. "To no one else."

His piercing gaze reminded her of Raegan the other day, when he was on top of her. Her cheeks blushed furiously. «You are absolutely shameless! You're nothing more than a fucking bastard..."

“Don't forget that you are the one who is begging for a divorce,” Mitchel interrupted coldly.

Raegan's mouth closed. He cursed silently: "What a cunning and annoying man!"

Raegan began to consider his proposal. It was only for a month.

What would have happened if he had stood his ground? She would make him regret it to the point that he would be the one to ask her for a divorce.

With that in mind, Raegan stated, "Fine, but promise me you won't come to me unless I'm free."

"I give you my word."

“Well, bye then,” Raegan said as she stood up.

«Where do you think you are going? You will stay here with me.

Mitchel said, frowning. He put emphasis on "with me," which made Raegan's blood boil.

"I'm busy today."

«It's the weekend. Do you work on weekends?

“Uh… I have to take care of…” Raegan tried to find an excuse.

«I don't think our little agreement will work then. “We should forget it,” Mitchel cut her off.

Raegan's jaw dropped slightly. How dare he! Sigh. "Our agreement starts today then?"
