Chapter 400
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook
? ? ? ? ?
As for Lauren, she did remember every word Mitchel had said that night.
However, from her first meeting with Mitchel, Lauren found herself deeply attracted to him. She was not only captivated by his attractive and charming face. He was captivated by his cold, noble and mysterious temperament.
In the field of business, Mitchel was determined, like a God who judges all living beings. His dual nature deeply attracted Lauren.
Since then, Mitchel had become Lauren's entire world, overshadowing any attraction she might have felt for others. Lauren firmly believed that Mitchel was the one most deserving of her love.
However, at that moment, that enigmatic Mitchel was bowing to Raegan, someone Lauren despised.
Mitchel's eyes and movements said he had surrendered to Raegan, a statement that completely broke Lauren.
Lauren couldn't accept it. A mixture of defiance and reluctance twisted his pale face as he burst into a vehement roar: "You treat this woman like a treasure, but do you know what kind of life she has led abroad for the last five years?" She may have been with countless men. "He's no better than me."
Lauren tried to discredit Raegan, the rival she had fought for so many years but had not been able to beat. If she was going to fall, she was determined to drag Raegan down with her. She would never allow her opponent to enjoy an easy life.
Scoffing, Lauren added a bitter touch: âBy the way, he has a son.
"I doubt the child even knows who the father is."
By this time, Lauren was already falling into a state of unconsciousness, clarity escaping her. All the vicious words hidden in his heart poured out at once.
With a manic laugh, Lauren continued, "Maybe that kid is a mix of a lot of men she slept with."
Lauren was interrupted by a loud bang.
A transparent object was thrown towards Lauren, barely missing her face before colliding with the wall behind her. The glass shattered.
Lauren shivered in fear. The sound of breaking glass had calmed her down a bit.
With an icy look, Mitchel said word by word: "Do you have a dead wish?"
Mitchel's murderous look on Lauren was unmistakable. Under his gaze, Lauren instinctively shivered.
Lauren was drenched from head to toe in cold sweat, her skin having turned pale. At the same time, the effects of the drug took effect.
Before Lauren could say another word, Raegan coldly walked towards her.
Raising her hand without hesitation, Raegan delivered a powerful slap to Lauren's face. Even after the shocking contact, his anger lingered, causing his hand to tremble. «Shut the hell up. "You have no right to mention my daughter."
Lauren's eyes widened in disbelief. The nerve of Raegan slapping her! Worse yet, Raegan slapped her in the presence of the man she admired.
Overflowing with resentment, Lauren felt that the rude and irrational Raegan had finally revealed her true colors!
«Evil bitch! How dare you force me to drink that 'drink'? I heard that your bastard was very sick since he was born and barely spoke, right? Well this is what happens to you. You ended up with a child who is not normal! I bet that in a few years, your son will turn out just as terrible as you.
Lauren ignored all restraint, desperately trying to drive Raegan into madness. She was determined to make Mitchel think less of Raegan.
She wanted him to know that Raegan's seemingly bright and beautiful image was nothing more than a deception. Raegan was a ruthless bitch.
Slaps were heard.
Just as Lauren expected, Raegan hit Lauren hard three more times. Raegan was so furious she had no words. She longed to destroy Lauren's mouth with her slaps. Such vile words about a girlâ¦Lauren was rotten to the core!
Just as Raegan raised her hand again, someone pushed her away from behind. It was Mitchel.
Overcome with fury, Raegan slapped him hard across the face.
The sound of the slap was sharp, echoing as her hand connected with his face.
Raegan didn't hold back. Instead, he used all his strength for a powerful slap.
âLet go of me!â Raegan's face was tight with fury as she glared at Mitchel, her anger unmistakable.
Five bright red fingerprints stood out starkly on Mitchel's otherwise cold face.
Raegan's eyes were cold and her anger was palpable. She remained defiant, ready to defend herself like a hedgehog with its spines raised, challenging anyone who threatened her daughter.
Raegan challenged: "Do you regret it?" He supposed he had regretted an evil woman like Lauren, cursing her that she deserved the slap.
Mitchel, unfazed, grabbed Raegan's hand to prevent her from moving and turned to his bodyguards with a voice that cut like ice. "What are you waiting for?" he snapped.
The bodyguards noticed right away. One of them pressed Lauren, and the other raised his hand and slapped her.
Seeing that Mitchel did not change his cold attitude, the bodyguards did not stop.
Slap after slap fell on Lauren's mouth.
These bodyguards were much stronger than Raegan. Soon, Lauren's face swelled beyond recognition, and she was reduced to making only pitiful moans, unable to speak.
Mitchel did not look at her, but instead took Raegan's red palm in hers, a deep pain evident in her heart.
His voice, rough with emotion, broke the silence. «If you wanted to hit, why didn't you say so? Does your hand hurt?
The tenderness in his voice betrayed his concern, leaving Raegan momentarily breathless. His slap didn't seem to have left any mark.
He seemed unfazed. However, it was Raegan's hand that he felt compassion forâ¦
Noticing the redness of Raegan's entire palm, Mitchel could not hide his distress. He gently grabbed her wrist and suggested, âLet's go to the car. I have ointment there.
Raegan, speechless, attempted to remove her hand, intending to make light of the situation by mentioning the natural sensitivity of her skin.
Despite the redness, he thought it didn't look too serious.
However, MitcheLl's firm grip left no room for protests as she insisted, "Come on, let me take care of it."
Meanwhile, Lauren, who was reeling from the pain of the slap, became flustered as Mitchel was about to leave. She screamed in anguish, her tears flowing freely.
