Chapter 661

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Mitchel, with an arched eyebrow, replied nonchalantly: “Learning is not difficult if you are interested. Making soup is a matter of time and balance. If it is cooked too much, it loses flavor. If it is not cooked enough, it lacks depth. If you control the time and choose the right ingredients, you will get something tasty and healthy…”

Raegan was impressed by his methodical approach to cooking, seeing it as something a perfectionist would do, applying precision even in the kitchen.

After savoring a large bowl of soup, Raegan commented, "You've lured me in for another bowl of soup."

Wiping his face with a wet washcloth, Mitchel said mockingly, “Thank you, Miss Foster, for taking me in. Taking care of you is the least I can do.

Raegan was speechless.

After throwing away the towel, Mitchel asked nonchalantly, "Which soup did you like better, lunch or tonight?"

Once again, Raegan was speechless. He thought about the lunchtime call, when Mitchel had offered to prepare and bring him food, only to find that he was already dining with a partner.

The associate happily handed her a bowl of soup and said, “Miss Foster, try this. "It's supposed to leave your skin softer and more dazzling."

Little did Raegan expect that the words of a partner, a man, would stick with Mitchel.

Raegan joked: "The one I had for lunch was pretty good, made by a real chef."

“How good?” As Mitchel lifted Raegan to go wash, he asked, "Better than what I do?"

Lately, Mitchel had been carrying Raegan every afternoon, so she barely had to use her feet.

Mitchel enjoyed holding Raegan so much that she couldn't resist doing it whenever she could.

"Tonight's soup was a little sour." Raegan laughed, wrapping her arms around Mitchel's neck.

Catching his drift, Mitchel replied with a mocking smile: "Staying at home waiting for you to come back makes me think too much."

Raegan hummed in agreement. “Now you understand how I felt when I was waiting for you in the past.”

Mitchel remained silent, wondering if this was how Raegan felt waiting for him. It had to be hard.

Noticing his silence, Raegan cheekily lifted his chin and said, "Take good care of me and I'll be sure to come home soon when I have social commitments."

Mitchel looked at her, his voice hoarse. "I will do everything I can to take care of you."

After cleaning herself up, Raegan prepared to take a bath, something she did unless she came back too late.

Meanwhile, Mitchel began to wash.

Raegan waited for him to come out.

After washing up, Mitchel unexpectedly did not leave. Instead, he carried her to the bathtub and turned on the shower.

«Splash». The sound of water echoed as it hit them, soaking their clothes.
