Chapter 686
Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Tears brimmed in Katie's eyes as she pleaded, âMitchel, are you really disparaging our shared history? Don't the five years we spent together mean anything to you?
Katie's words sounded like an accusation of infidelity on Mitchel's part.
Mitchel frowned, afraid Raegan would get the wrong idea and overthink. His eyes narrowed, his tone frigid as ice. "What happened between us during those five years?"
Tears and grievances ran down Katie's face as she implored, âMitchel, I'm not taking advantage of our past to hold you accountable, but you must acknowledge your responsibility for our son. Please don't leave me alone with this..."
Katie's words danced on the edge of clarity, simultaneously answering his question and revealing nothing at all.
Mitchel, a conventional man, found himself unable to argue with Katie, despite being repulsed by the situation.
Mitchel grew impatient and frowned. "Katie, are you suggesting that the benefits you received from Alexis were not enough, or that you have not earned enough from the Dixon Group?"
Katie's complexion paled, as if her skin had been torn off. "Mitchel, are you accusing me of these charges because of this woman?"
Katie bit her lip, tears mixing with her complaint. "Are you going to get rid of our son for her?"
Raegan couldn't help but be amazed at the performance Katie was putting on. If it weren't for the solid foundation of trust between her and Mitchel, Katie's provocation would probably have sparked a conflict between them.
âMiss Glyn, please hold back your tears,â Raegan interjected suddenly.
«Although you often mention the last five years of camaraderie, can you provide any concrete evidence or any memorable moments? You've spent half a decade with Mitchel, and yet you can't remember a single significant event?
Katie froze, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Gritting his teeth, he replied, "Whatever you say, you can't deny that Mitchel loved me!"
Katie's only goal was to upset Raegan.
Katie assumed that without Raegan, Mitchel would have inevitably fallen in love with her. It had all been Raegan's doing.
Undeterred, Raegan asked Katie directly, âSo, Ms. Glyn, your pregnancy was unplanned?â Where did it happen? When?"
Katie looked at Raegan as if faced with a monstrous riddle, unable to understand why she was asking such questions. Shouldn't Raegan avoid such questions?
In reality, Raegan didn't care at all. She knew very well that Katie intended to incite and upset her.
In this battle, Raegan was determined not to be outmatched. He gently grabbed Mitchel's arm, a smile on his lips. If you can't answer these questions, how can I trust that Mitchel loved you?
Katie stayed silent.
Raegan insisted, her tone firm: âYou see, you are still unable to give any answers. You can't even clarify how this child was formed, or what phase he is in now. Simple questions, and yet you remain silent.
Katie seethed with frustration. However, no matter how much he racked his brain, the only thing that escaped his lips was: "He's Mitchel's son."
Seeing Luciana's anguish ease, Mitchel felt the urge to leave, truly hating Katie's presence. He grabbed Raegan's hand, ready to leave.
In a desperate attempt to stop Mitchel from leaving, Luciana sat up urgently, making her voice echo throughout the room. «Mitchel, wait! How can you treat Katie like that? Even though you haven't answered the questions, I know that you are three and a half months pregnant. I trust Katie. "She is pregnant with you."
