Chapter 886

Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

Chapter 886:

? ? ? ? ?

Elin traced the noise to the nightstand and saw her phone lying there. He turned off the alarm and unlocked the screen. There were no messages.

It had all been a nightmare.

Elin had changed her phone number and Dayton couldn't know her current contact information. Furthermore, Farley Schultz had forbidden him to leave Swynborough. He couldn't have come looking for her.

Elin steadied herself. He leaned against the closet and went back to bed.

After a short rest, he stood up. His rest had been scarce, and he lost his balance as soon as he got up.

After drinking some hot water, the doorbell rang unexpectedly.

Elin thought it was strange. Only Erick, Raegan and his mother knew where he lived. Her mother had returned to Swynborough, and Raegan would not be visiting her so early. Erick had his password.

After a brief pause, Elin remembered that she had changed the password last night. But why would Erick come at that time?

He approached the door without thinking and stopped when the doorbell rang. “Wrong entry!” The lock beeped automatically.

The person outside tried again, with palpable impatience.

“Wrong entry!” The warning was repeated over and over again.

A shiver ran down Elin's spine, a feeling of terror overtaking her. He looked through the peephole.

Outside was a tall, thin man with a distinctive red birthmark next to his ear. He had a menacing appearance.

Elin felt a sudden chill on her scalp. She pinched herself hard, wondering if she was still trapped in a nightmare. He had just dreamed that Dayton was approaching him. How was it possible that he was here now?

She pinched herself again and again, and the sharp pain brought her back to harsh reality.

“Tok!” The sound of Dayton pounding on the door echoed through the room. In his impatience, he even kicked the door.

«Elin, open the door for me. I see your car. I know you're home."

Dayton's voice boomed from outside.

Elin's face lost color. Sure enough, his car was parked outside, visible to anyone looking. She hadn't anticipated that Dayton would not only come here, but also investigate her.

Panicking, Elin ran to call the police, but tripped in her haste.

The noise seemed to drive Dayton even more crazy.

“Elin, I advise you to open the door while I can still speak nicely.”

Dayton's voice had a chilling tone. "Otherwise, I won't be as patient as I am now."

He banged on the door again, this time using something that sounded like a belt.
