Chapter 935:

Their eyes met. Matteo immediately understood Mitchel's intention.
Mitchel didn't want anyone else to get involved, he preferred to face the situation alone. Furthermore, he had secretly moved all the guests from the wedding venue to this building, hinting at the severity of the storm brewing inside.
Matteo's eyebrows furrowed tightly. «This is not good. Mr. Dixon wanted..."
Understanding the seriousness of the situation, Matteo and W hurriedly ran towards the wedding venue across the street.
Upon arrival, they found the entrance was heavily sealed, with a line of armed security personnel blocking their way.
One of the guards yelled at them: "You can't enter this building!"
W, of mixed descent and known for his fiery temper, pushed one of the black-clad security members in an attempt to force his way through.
But Matteo grabbed him and held him. "Don't be reckless," he warned. It was crucial for him to ensure that W avoided creating problems in Ambrosia.
"Hello, gentlemen." Matteo addressed the security personnel, handing them his business card to inform them of his identity. «Our general director is inside. Can you tell us what's going on?
"I'm sorry. It's official business. I can't reveal any information. Please leave immediately.â
Seeing this, Matteo pushed the unconvinced W away.
However, they did not go far and stopped a short distance from the building.
Concerned, W asked: âMatteo, what is happening? Why are they evacuating everyone?
Matteo watched the orderly evacuation carried out by the security team and became increasingly uneasy. He called the intelligence center.
"Check out what's happening at the International Banquet Center."
Matteo didn't hang up, waiting for a response.
Five minutes later, the intelligence center reported: "We have heard that there are explosives planted in the International Banquet Center. "Everyone has to be evacuated."
Matteo raised his eyebrows. "Who planted those explosives?"
"It seems to be related to Lorenzo."
At the mention of Lorenzo, Matteo quickly reviewed Mitchel's recent itinerary in his mind. A vivid image of a rainy night, with Mitchel bleeding from a wound on his arm, flashed through his thoughts.
An idea suddenly occurred to Matteo, and he said abruptly: "Check what happened in Aurora twenty days ago."
The sound of the keys sounded again.
After about ten minutes, the clattering stopped.
The intelligence center responded: âTwenty days ago, the youngest son of the Maxwell family leader, Lorenzo, lost his favorite wife, the cause of her death a mystery. It was quite sensational. She was his favorite among twenty-four wives. After her death, which appeared to be a murder and not an accident, Lorenzo locked the door and killed the maids, drivers and bodyguards who served that wife. Almost thirty people were sent to accompany her in her death. Lorenzo offered a reward of one billion dollars to anyone who could provide precise clues about the death of his beloved wife.
Matteo remained thoughtful. He didn't know much about Lorenzo's favorite wife. But I did know about Lorenzo.
Lorenzo was the most wanted fugitive by Ambrosia authorities, having committed hundreds of major crimes here. His ability to appear and disappear seemingly at will, coupled with Aurora's status as a lawless place, had thwarted many investigations.
But Ambrosia's special forces had never stopped tracking Lorenzo.
Any reliable information about Lorenzo's whereabouts in Ambrosia meant that he would not escape the special forces or the severe punishment that awaited him.
Lorenzo was not stupid. Knowing the priority that the Ambrosia authorities gave to his capture, he would not risk strolling around casually, but would instead seek thrills in countries with more lenient laws.
Matteo's previous knowledge of Lorenzo came from the last incident with a car loaded with explosives, in which Mitchel plunged into the sea and jumped out at the last second.
