Chatper 346
Guardian-In-Law by Five Generals
Chapter 346 A Hellcat âDidnât they move over from the Old District? Just make them move back.â
Lyla made that statement right in front of Camry and Teresa. She showed no concern for their feelings.
âNo.â
Winnie declined and said, âThe Old District is in a bad neighborhood with high crime rates. I canât raise Brenda there.â
They were living there before because they had no choice.
Now, they had moved back to their family home which was in a nice neighborhood.
Winnie could not possibly send her daughter back to live in the Old District while she lived in comfort at the old family residence.
Smack!
Lyla slapped Winnie.
Winnieâs thin face swelled up behind her loose hair.
âMom! Youâre mean! Donât hit my mom/
Lying in Kazeâs arms, Brenda cried out heart-wrenchingly.
âShut up, brat!â
The angry look from Lyla made Brenda shudder.
Teary-eyed and lips apart, Brenda looked at Lyla in horror.
Lyla cocked her head and got her finger up Winnieâs nose. âYou are whore. You are still sticking up for your ex-husbandâs family even +25 BONUS though you have been married to my son for over a year.
âYou shared the house with your ex-husband, but when you married into my family, you brought nothing to the table.
âWe paid your debt and footed the hospital bill for your brat.
âEver since you entered my sonâs life, itâs been one blow after another for our family. Zenny has to save the little rascal from being kidnapped, then he loses his job at the traffic department. Now, his fatherâs facing trouble, and weâve lost our house and cars.â
Lylaâs harsh words echoed in the mansion.
Camry and Teresa shot Lyla icy glares when she called the child names.
As Winnie held her swollen cheek without a word, Camry and Teresa sighed. âWinnie, donât be stubborn with your mother-in-law.
Weâll move back to the Old District so that you and your family can live here.â
They would rather live in the Old District than see their former daughter-in-law suffer.
If they refused to move, Lyla might just get even more physical with Winnie.
âSomeone has got some sense here. Donât just stand there. Move, now.â
Lyla scoffed arrogantly.
She looked daggers at Winnie. âDonât you ever forget that you of my family now. The next time you think about your dead ex-
husband again, I wonât be easy on you.â
âShut up, you miserable wretch!â
A thundering bellow ripped through the air.

Filled with rage, she turned over to the source. âWho are you calling a miserable wretch? Iâm going to tear your mouth apart.â
âKaze!â
Zenny exclaimed, âMom, thatâs the guy who got me fired. Heâs the son- in-law of the Quints.â
âSo, youâre the bastard.â
Lyla scowled upon learning that Kaze was the culprit who cost her son his career.
Kaze did not want to waste time with the hellcat.
His earlier outburst was because Lyla insulted his deceased brother.
âThe house belongs to my buddy, James, so no one but his family gets to stay here. The rest of you should get out!â Kaze said in a cold voice.
âAre you kicking us out? Youâre just a nobody in the Quint family.â
Lyla scoffed in disdain. âDo you know who we are related to? We are relatives of the Goldings, one of the top three families.
Weâre moving in, and thatâs final. If you know better, you should leave now.â
âAre the Goldings really that impressive?â
Tiffany emerged from the top of the staircase.
