Chapter 749
Guardian-In-Law by Five Generals
Chapter 749 They Are Saluting Kaze âKaze, you are a vile man!â
âDoomsday is ahead of you, Kaze. The Duncans will make you pay. Itâs not over between us either. Itâs too late to grovel and beg for forgiveness now.â
Even though Hank was a rival in love, the group of wealthy youngsters felt bad for his predicament.
They hated Kazeâs guts.
âYour families can come after me with everything they have.â
Kaze shook his head, unbothered to waste his time on these idiots. He waved his arm at the member of the disciplinary commission. âPut them behind bars since they donât want to leave. They can go, but their fathers have to bail them out.â
He then took off.
âWho do you think you are, Kaze? Iâll be released when my dad makes the call to Draco.â
Zephyr was livid.
The others were the same.
They believed Kaze was humiliating them intentionally.
With that, the group made up their mind to get even with him once they got out.
Kaze left the disciplinary commission bureau and met up with Draco who was taking Sky, Rose, and Landon on a tour.
He stayed with them for a while.
To be honest, Kaze had not checked out the base of Lilyrose Strategic Department.
âWow! Thatâs the Garo Special Ops Team! I want to be in the special ops team.â
Skyâs eyes lit up.
The boy had been butting heads with Agnes because he wanted to be a special agent.
Agnes would not give her blessing.
âDraco, are you high in rank? Why are the passing soldiers on foot and tanks saluting you?â
1/3 +15 BONUS Rose asked curiously.
Draco replied with a smile, âThey are saluting Kaze.â
âTch. Youâre such a kidder, Draco.â
Rose rolled her eyes.
It was hard to take Draco seriously as he often joked with them.
They thought Draco was kidding.
Once the kids had enough of the tour, Kaze led out of the military base.
âCan you put in the word for my dad, Draco? Heâs been put in solitary confinement and self- reflection again. It has happened multiple times lately. Poor Dad.â
Before leaving, Rose remembered that her father, Nelson, was still in a fix.
Draco glanced at Kaze, who kept to himself, and chuckled. âItâs out of my hands. You might want to tell him to tone down. Iâm sure his luck will change if he ditches the attitude and takes a humble approach.â
Rose pouted.
She knew the type of man her father was.
Old habits died hard.
Nelsonâs luck would never change.
Upon exiting the military base, Kaze told Sky and the others to go home while he went to Golden Edge.
He wanted to see how Winnie was doing.
âYou have gone too far, Winston. Shangrila Group is the biggest shareholder of Golden Edge. Weâre not being unreasonable to review the financial statements. As one of the shareholders, why are you stopping us from doing our job?â
In the same meeting room, Winnie looked daggers at Winston.
Winston scoffed in disdain. âSo what if youâre the biggest shareholder? You wonât be the ones running Golden Edge for long.â
âWhat are you trying to say, Winston?â Winnie asked furiously.
âDo I have to spell it out for you?â
2/3 +15 BONUS Winston smirked. âShangrila Group has on the nerves of multiple prominent families. I wouldnât hold my breath that your company would survive their payback if I were you. Itâs only a matter of time before these families take over Golden Edge.
âI would advise you to take a hike. Just hand over the shares of Golden Edge, and maybe these families will forgive you.â
âDream on!â
Winnie shook with rage.
âHmph! I donât want to waste my breath arguing with you.â
Winston waved at his men in the back. âKick all those from Shangrila Group out.â
âGet lost! Golden Edge isnât yours!â
A group started pushing Winnie and her team out.
âWhat are you doing? Why should we leave?â
There was chaos in the meeting room.
Kaze was right outside the door. He kicked the door open and walked in.
âYouâre an idiot, Winston. Your masters canât even help themselves now, much less you. You are one cocky jerk.â
