"What's happening here Nithaesh?" Izad's anger was evident in his tone, "I don't know Izad" his voice shake seeing the danger in Izad's eyes and voice.

Arjun sighed, "Pchh let's discuss the business Izad, I have only 8 minutes more or you might earn a bullet on your forehead"

"I should have guessed you might plan something in this when you wanted to talk about this business in public," Izad said to Nithaesh taking out his gun from his waist, "trust me I don't know what's happening here" he pleaded with him.

"Izad, do you know anyone who deals with drugs?" Arjun asked in curiosity looking at Izad, "Arjun please" Nithaesh begged Arjun.

"Mr. Nithaesh, keep quiet when two businessmen are talking about business" Balveer ordered him decreasing the patience in Nithaesh and Izad.

"Listen here Mister I need you to go away from here or I would make you go away" Arjun laughed shaking his head, "Are you trying to threaten me Izad?"

He laughed again, "I am not a man who fears for my dear life"

"But you do fear for your wife's life right?" veins popped up in Arjun's neck hearing Nithaesh words, "try me Nithaesh you won't be able to give up your breath next second" his voice surely raised fear in Nithaesh's heart.

Hiding it, "I know you have planned something Arjun, and my life will end within a few minutes or hours but for a second I would see the pain of losing your wife" calming down Arjun placed his mobile in front of him.

Izad who was fuming in anger eyed his guards as they sat next to Arjun and Balveer who Arjun didn't even mind a bit, Nithaesh attends the video call and his eyes widened in anger, "dare you Arjun" he shouted not minding the surroundings and unwanted attention they are getting from the past few minutes.

"I thought you are a clever man Izad," he said not even turning to Nithaesh who is begging him to stop destructing his mother's house which he thinks more than anything, "Calm down Nithaesh I will talk to you later"

He sat closer to Izad, "Think logically, do you think I would not have taken necessary actions while sitting without a single weapon in front of underground Mafia?"

"There is nothing you can extort me"

"I can Izad when I find your hidden family and your injured brother who is lying in a hospital with your men around him in the US, I can easily play in your life" Izad clutched the chair tight unable to do anything he is the only man who found out his family whom he hides from the outer world, he should have guessed it when he said his surname.

Arjun turned to Nithaesh, "Now Mr. Young businessman what are you begging for?" his smile had scorn which Nithaesh hated, "leave that house Arjun I will do whatever you say"

"Pardon me but I never let anything in middle"

"I will tell a secret about your wife" Arjun smiled at his words, the reason he is here is now going to get into his hands. He was desired to get her out of the dark hell and break all the truth about her father even if she hates him he is willing to do it.

He wanted her to smile without any fakeness, "Be my guest Nithaesh and Izad cops are waiting for you, all your guards are safe with them" he said taking a cab with Nithaesh.

Once the car stopped in front of Khalili's one of the hotels he gulped down, "you spoiled everything Arjun, I will make sure you repay it" the venom in his voice made Arjun laugh, "you are good at assuming thing man, come let's get in" they both went to a room where Balveer and Likit stood there as Arjun sat on the chair with a gun in his hand.

"Spill out" he ordered loading bullets inside the gun making Nithaesh gulp hard, "my father and Vishwanathan were friends long back they both were business partners without anyone's knowledge. Vishwanathan won't have any illegal business directly, it's my father who did it all for him, slowly both families reached high levels. He will destroy the family he kidnaps or he would kill them.

Once my mother came to know these my father stopped that temporarily so did Vishwanathan. Then a few years later he started his work in trafficking girls" Arjun clenched his fist but asked him to continue further, "when did he start that?"

"Before 9 years"

"When your father got involved in it?"

"My father never involved in this he loved my mother so he didn't like to torture women" unable to withhold the anger Arjun shoots his shoulder without flinching, "then why are you involving in this? Every girl has a dream and family to cherish how can you bloody involve in it?" Nithaesh cried in pain lying on the floor.

"Inject him" Arjun yelled at Likit who injected a strong pain killer letting him bleed to death after the pain subsided down, "I never involved in this Arjun, it's Vishwanath who blackmailed me to kidnap a girl from Kolkata"

Arjun shut him, "I know that bloody shit part, now tells me why are you here?" he yelled.

"Vishwanath wanted to place his leg in AI by placing illegal chips in many small companies and to get them into his hands that's why he sent me otherwise my he will show the true colors of my father to the world"

"you know what I would have done at this state?" Nithaesh's eyes closed for a snap of a second, he shook his head, "I would let my company grounded rather than helping him"

"I too did the same but he is having my girlfriend from the past one year making me do shitty things" Nithaesh yelled making the whole room silent, the tears he hold all this time flowed down his cheeks making Arjun stunned, "he is planning to sell her if I didn't do this for him" his voice broke and the pain was evident in his eyes.

"Call the doctor" Arjun meekly ordered as Balveer nodded and walked out.

After two hours of nursing his injury, Arjun was walking in the room impatiently to know more and more about dirty Vishwanath.

"Sir Albert on the line" I immediately took it, "Yes Albert"

"Sir their family is safe we made Vishwanath believe that he escaped from us, he is now trying traveling national highways to Ranchi and our guards are keenly watching them"

"good, he is having Nithaesh's girlfriend for the past one year. Search her soon" he hung the call and sat on the couch.

Balveer spoke, "we can easily get her if we have Vishwanathan sir, why are you letting him go?" Arjun shook his head, "none of the plans is his brain Balveer. Someone is behind this, someone too safe to leak out anything about him"

Who might it be?

He sat on the chair closing his eyes trying to think of any other possibilities but found none, "I need his call history in 5 minutes" he ordered Balveer.

"Now tell me what you know about Diya," he asked in a cold tone scaring him, "he wants to get all her assets so he will take her life or fake her death by selling her" Arjun's eyes were red in anger controlling it he asked him to continue, "why are you away from her Arjun? It's easily making him go near her" Nithaesh's eyes started to drop slowly.

"Vishwanath is not the only person on my enemies list, there are much more people waiting to destroy me" taking a deep breath, "I will find your girlfriend you now need to come with me to India, I will talk with Mr. Khalili about you"

"Likit arranges doctors for his treatment once we land there and I will be in a jet in 10, inform our pilots. Any status on Vishwanath?" he inquired getting out of the hotel, when he was about to step into the car a loud glass shattering sound made him back away, it's his car window glass.

"Sir we are under attack, please get..." a shot directly landed on Likit's shoulder as he winched in pain, it was aimed at Arjun but he covered him as he is wearing a bulletproof suit.

"Likit gets into the car now" Arjun shouted pushing him inside the car shutting the door not getting his warning, "go" he urged the driver as it flew away in the deserted street outside the city.

Arjun got behind a car hiding and took his hand into his pocket but when he found it empty he crushed himself for throwing it inside his bag, he heard the continuous sound of shooting near him, when he spotted Balveer near the hotel front gate he signaled him to hide.

Balveer throws a gun in his direction but it was out of reach, Balveer fired at their enemies but he was not quick enough to handle those 5 men who are specialized in handling weapons, "inform Khalili about this and get in" Balveer informed Mr. Khalili but he refused to go inside without Arjun.

When Arjun felt someone was too close to him he quickly moved towards the gun but a sharp pain of piercing bullet on his stomach stunned him, he felt himself feel too weak to move out of the place when his eyes started to blur with the pain of tears and the loss of blood made his one hand to his stomach the same place where he got hurt a few weeks back while his other hand with much difficulty gripped the gun hard.

He got into the car and removed his blazer and tied it around his stomach hard to control the loss of blood, his eyes closed for a second giving a flash of Vishwanath and his PA coming into his room to discuss some project, his eyes opened hearing a loud thud of door opening he saw a man his whole face is filled with scars here and there but the anger was evident in his eyes, "where is Izad?" he shouted placing a gun at the forehead of Arjun who smiled seeing Balveer's target on the man before him, "hell" he smiled wickedly and the next second he was shot dead by Balveer in his forehead.

Arjun turned to the other side to see a man behind a small wall shooting in Balveer's direction and another man behind a truck aiming at Arjun's car, he carefully aimed at the man who is aiming at him with shaking hand and blurred vision which closed now and then, with each second his mind keep on flashing him images he saw in the past, one with Advik's friend who was keenly looking into Arjun's cabin when Advik introduced him to Arjun.

Another one where he saw the woman who touched Diya in the center of the street while she was standing there confused seeing the number of black hoodie men.

Hitting his head Arjun tried to open his eyes aiming his gun sharply at one man he shoots him then a bullet shattered the car glass he hides in as multiple glasses shattered on his hands through his shirt and another sharp piece got deep in his forehead, winching in pain he plugs it out and again aimed at the man straight ahead of him and shoot him in his head, they keep on continuing their attack even after the arrival of Khalili's men and the siren sounds of cops.

The car door opened revealing Balveer, "sir get down quick" he said gripping Arjun's hand pulling him out of the car and took him carefully and quickly to an ambulance, his ears continuously received shooting sound, when Balveer made him lie on a stretcher Arjun stopped him by holding his collar, "Take me to India after taking the bullet"

"Sir first let's take treatment" he gripped his collar tight, "do as I say" his roar made Balveer nod his head, "don't inform it to my family" his eyes and hands both lost their battle leaving him in complete silence not before giving him a flash of Likit's guilt face when the first bullet strikes their car's window.

It's been four days since his phone call to Diya who was working at her most of the time trying to shut him out of her nagging thoughts which is to keep on going to him like he is her destination, she felt too heavy in her heart whenever his thoughts invaded her giving her complete shutdown to her system.

"Vi, can you come to the canteen?" she asked her friend over call who is busy in her work, "No Diya, I need to submit an important file within an hour" feeling sad Diya hung the call and got into the elevator, when it descended the next floor the elevator stopped abruptly taking the light inside the elevator with it, fear crept over her heart as she informed another person in the elevator to press the emergency button.

He turned towards her making sure his face will not be visible to her without pressing the emergency button, "what are you doing press it" she whispered out of fear feeling him take a step towards her, "why are you coming towards me stop right there Mister" she warned him backing away from him.

She let out a defeated sigh when her back found the dead-end of the elevator, gulping hard she gripped her purse to her chest with tears rolling down her cheeks, "I won't hurt you Diya" her breathe quickened hearing the same voice of the man who came into Arjun's house few days after their marriage when she is alone.

"what do you need? What are you doing here? Go away from me or I will shout"

She keeps on fighting with the wall of the elevator to make it move back, "I don't need anything Diya nor I am here to harm you in any way, I want you to understand the true colors of your husband"

"don't you dare talk about him, move out now" she yelled at him, "you are still trusting him Diya when he did nothing good to you"

"You don't have to have any concern in my life" she deafened him not willing to take the third persons' word to her ear, "I would let it go when it was only your life but now it's not only your life" his words confused her.

"What are you talking about? He doesn't have any intention to harm anyone other than me"

"Your child is also a part of you Diya" his words shook her core sending a cold shiver from her heart to legs, "what...what do you mean?" her broken tone gave happiness to his eyes which hide in the darkness, "he killed your child"

'no, he is lying. I haven't had any symptoms of pregnancy'

Her knees gave up unable to hold her but a small hope inside her questioned him, "do you think I will trust you over my Arjun?"

"I know you will say something like this" he gave her a paper which she took hesitantly with shivering hands and millions of prayers, "he knows about your pregnancy when you were admitted in the hospital while you were shot, he asked doctors to give you abortion pills along with your prescription, I don't need you to believe me but I want you to know all things about him. The person you love is not true to you, he is just behind you to take revenge on you by taking all your happiness and your assets"

She sat there immobilized without any feelings she can't take his words nor able to give up on his words, "think wisely Diya, a person who only wants to see you in pain can do anything even if the child is also his" she stood up quickly and pressed the emergency button non stop, "his motive is not only you, he even sent his men to kill your father..." his words didn't reach her ears.

All she now need is to get out from her, within seconds the elevator door opened and she came to face Advik who looked very sad, he grabbed her hand and took her away from the crowd and handed her a paper, "divorce papers Diya" she was not in the mindset to pacify him or talk with him, grabbing the paper she walked out of the office calling a cab.

When she went home she ran to her room and quickly took her medicines which she is taking daily. She noticed one bottle of medicine which is not prescribed by the doctor, putting the medicine name on the internet all her hopes died.

It's a medicine for abortion.

How could he?

Her hands went to her stomach and touched it with pain, my child is no more.

She remained his words, 'don't forget to take all the pills' tears failed to show up, her mind, heart everything became blank. She sat on the floor losing everything she had.

'You should have killed me along with my child Arjun'

She spent hours staring at nothing in particular when she came to senses she saw the divorce papers near her.

Diya pov

I went to his house, when I tried to knock it I saw it's already open, taking hesitant and shivering steps I went in slowly. But the scene in front of me was something unexpected, there he is with Meera.

"Will you marry me?" He asked kneeling on the floor with a wide grin on his face.

My tears started to pool in my eyes. I had never expected this will happen even in my dreams. My heart stopped to beat seeing the scene in front of me.

"Yes"

And this time my tears freely flowed down my cheeks.

With that, he stood up and put the ring on her finger.

And I stood there hidden watching my husband proposing to Meera to marry him. And he looks so happy...

'Why Arjun?' My heart screams, 'how can you smile widely after killing your baby?' with fast steps I stood in front of him. His face was clearly showing how shocked he is.

Not thinking anything I slapped him hard pouring my anger in him, "Diya.." Meera tried to come in but I stopped her by showing my hands, "don't worry I don't want him in my life again" I turned back to him with silent tears flowing down my cheeks.

"Clarify one thing Arjun, why did you come into my life?" I asked calmly but he didn't reply just staring at me without averting his gaze, "to give me pain. Okay, I accept it after knowing what my father did to you.

I accepted your rejection, I accepted your insult, I did accept your humiliation, I stayed quiet when you said you have a girlfriend and even I remained calm when her family spoke about your engagement. I even let you scare me. But why did you kill my child Arjun?" his eyes widened in shock.

I grabbed his collar and shook him, "You know I was pregnant right?" my tears never stopped their flow unable to hold the pain inside me, "answer me dammit" he nodded after I shout out.

"You asked the doctors to give me abortion pills right?" he again nodded but I can never find any regret in his eyes just he seems angry, "why did you do it Arjun?" I cried still grabbing his collar shaking him continuously, "what will you get by killing my child? I never asked anything from you but you keep on giving me pain, pain, and pain. What is the happiness you get by hurting me Arjun? What is my part in hurting your friend?

The only mistake I did is to fall in love with you, for that, you can hurt me but why did you kill my child, what is the mistake of my child?" I cried holding his collar while his hand grabbed my waist.

"I was never against your new marriage, I signed all the paper you sent me, I never crossed any steps in your life or your goals. If you want to kill me then I would have happily gave up on my life after giving birth to the child but now how can I live after knowing I let you kill my child? I lost my courage to take my life, you took every single ounce of happiness"

"Diya stop crying..." his hand cupped my face, I pushed him away, "I am not you to keep on smiling after taking an innocent life" I yelled at him and beat his chest in anger, "why did you kill my child Arjun why? What is the mistake of my baby other than coming to me" I hit him again, "being a daughter of Vishwanath don't I deserve to be a mother? I just wanted to give all my love to my child as a mother which I never got but you killed it Arjun or at least you should have killed me along with my child" I hit him, again and again, unable to tolerate the loss I had. His silence portrayed what he might have done to my child. I feel like dying every minute after knowing I lost my child to a man like him.

'How can he?'

"You don't deserve to be a man. It's not me who deserves this pain and suffering, it should always be you who should feel pain and cry every second, you should feel only loneliness in your life, I wish you to beg for love, happiness, and peace. You are worse than my father, at least he was a man enough to bring up his child without killing it like you, I am happy one side my baby didn't get a father like you. You don't deserve to be a father"

I throw the divorce papers at the floor, "you pledged to break me and you were successful and you wanted to divorce me, here I am freeing you from this fake marriage relationship there will be no strings attached between us, you are a dead person to me Arjun. I wish to never see you again Mr Verma. You will live a life like a hell and I will be the first one to be happy seeing your sufferings. Mark my words Mr. Arjun Verma, you will be an alone person mentally and physically just like me, you don't deserve any happiness, I hate you to the core Arjun also I hate me more for falling in love with a heartless person like you" I walked out of his house and life after pouring all my anger to the heartless man.
