Chapter 110
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
There were a handful of managers at the Red Jack Club, and after nearly a month of working here, Allison still hadnât managed to identify all of them. She only knew Sarah and Serena, who were both managers here, each responsible for different floors and mainly in charge of drinks and food, leading a tearn of a hundred servers each.
The big shot here was Samuel.
Samuel was like the goâto guy for stuff that Sarah and Serena couldnât handle, they would turn to him.
As for Samuelâs bossâ¦
Who the hell was the mysterious boss of the Red Jack Club? No one had a clue.
Even Samuel himself had never met his boss face to face The office decor here was pretty much the same across the board, but Sarah had a unique taste. She had a thing for filling her office with plants and flowers, a stark contrast to the typical lavish golden vibe of the place.
Stepping into Sarahâs office, people could easily mistake it for a flower shop.
The air was thick with the mixed scent of various flowers, and then the smell of a ladyâs cigarette âMs. Sarah.â
Allison looked at Sarah, who was sitting at her desk.
Sarah was dressed in a classic black womenâs suit, with a brooch on her chest, a black lace blouse underneath, and a short skirt. Her makeup was exquisite. She was around 36 years old but didnât look it. Her hair was tied up low and she blew smoke rings from her red lips.
When she smiled, there was a fine line at the corner of her eyes.
She was totally different from Serena.
Serena was seductive and enticing, while Sarah was rather aloof.
âAllison, good job tonight. Iâm gonna add a little bonus to your paycheck this monthâ
âThanksâ
Allison bowed her head slightly. She waited for Sarah to continue, but the room fell silent for a few minutes.
Was that all Sarah wanted to tell her? About the bonus?
âMs. Sarah, Iâll leave you be then.â
As she turned to leave the office.
Sarahâs voice came from behind her, âAllison, what would you do if you were accused of theft tonight?â
Allison paused, her hand on the doorknob.
What would she do?
After a twoâsecond silence, she replied, âWhatever you tell me to.â.
She couldnât afford to lose this job.
Her mom was still in the hospital waiting for her.
Poor people really had no dignity.
Sarah was taken aback.
âAllison, youâre a smart girl.â
Allison left Sarahâs office. She didnât head home right away. It was two in the morning and Sarahâs words echoed in her ears. Was she smart?
No, she definitely wasnât. Ever since she was a kid, Grace always called her a dumb girl.
She wasnât always like this She had been falsely accused before, she knew how much it hurt.
Since she was a child, she had been falsely accused countless times. Every time something of Penelopeâs went missing, she was the prime suspect. A few days later, when the missing items turned up. Penelope would say it was her guilty conscience that made her return them.
She wanted to find out the truth, but every time Grace would force her to apologize to Penelope, which she flatly refused.
Grace always apologized humbly, taking all the blame.
She always said she hadnât raised her child properly.
Although Mr. Flanagan was kind to her and Grace, he never really looked into these matters.
Just like the time when she was accused of stealing Penelopeâs engagement ring at the Lindberg familyâs place.
Christopher Flanagan didnât really care if she did it or not, he just didnât want the Flanagan family to look bad in front of the Lindbergs Allison felt a chill in her heart.
