Chapter 129
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
âAre you still playing nice with me? Daisy looked at her a little annoyed, and asked, âDid you find your mom? Need my help?â
1 found her, sheâs at the Mercy Grove Hospital But all of Leahâs people are there, I canât even get close Unless she was completely sure, she wouldnât dare go there.
âSheâs really there. Allison, just wait, Iâll go there tomorrow. Those people know you, but they donât know me. Theyâll let their guard down if I go Daisy went to Mercy Grove Hospital the next morning She had her driver pretend to be a patient with mental issues and even got a doctorâs appointment.
âDoctor, my uncle often suffers from insomnia and talks in his sleep. Can you give him a thorough checkup?â After handing off the driver to the doctor Daisy excused herself to the restroom and left She took a good look around the hospital. It wasnât big and there werenât many patients, most of whom seemed to be long term residents. There were only staircases, no elevators. She checked each floor until she reached the sixth, where she found the staircase locked and blocked off by a metal gate.
She walked downstairs and asked a janitor âWhy is the sixth floor locked?â
The janitor, a gossip, said, âIâm not sure, itâs been locked for over a month. I heard thereâs a patient in there, and no oneâs allowed on the entire sixth floor.â
Daisy laughed saying âWell, that makes your job easier, one less floor to clean.â
The janitor laughed too âNot really, I still have to clean it every two dayâ
The Janitor seemed to like Daisy and started chatting with her. âI heard from a nurse that the patient on the sixth floor has kidney problems, and people come to see her every week. There are four or five bodyguards outside, theyâre really strictâ
Daisy asked, âCould it be the hospital directorâs relative resting here? Why else would they leave an entire floor empty?â
âIt could be.â
Daisy took out her phone and took a few pictures of the sixth floor, then left the hospital. She called Allison and told her about the situation.
Now that Allison knew where her mother was, she needed to figure out how to get her out without alerting Leah.
After checking everything. Allison noticed something was off.
Dr. Dylan had previously said he had two surgeries, so he couldnât accompany her. She didnât pay much attention to it. At first, he texted her every day, but recently he hadnât sent any messages for several days.
Frowning. Allison cooked lunch at home during her day off and planned to bring it to Dr. Dylan.
She was very familiar with Healing Haven Hospital, especially the nephrology department, because she used to visit Grace there.
Allison went to Dr Dylanâs office, but he wasnât there. So she turned to a nurse on duty and asked, âWhereâs Dr. Dylan?â
âDr. Dylan?â The nurse looked at her and asked, âArenât you Dr. Dylanâs girlfriend? Donât you know that Dr. Dylan had a problem with his surgery Allison asked in shock, âWhat do you mean?â
The last time she talked to Dr. Dylan, he didnât mention anything about surgery.
The nurse looked at her with a strange look and said. âThe day before yesterday. Dr. Dylan performed a surgery he had been preparing for half a month. But the surgery failed; there was a surgical error.
The patientâs family has filed a lawsuit against Dr. Dylan, and he has been suspended.â
âHow is this possible?â
