Chapter 13
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
âNo need; I can handle it.â Allisonâs face was as white as a sheet. She was gripping her dress tightly, refusing to let go.
âPenelope!â The tense atmosphere was broken by Leah FlanaganâEadenâs voice, calling from the doorway, âLucian is here too? You guys areâ¦â
Lucian pulled his hands back, glanced at Allison, and said calmly. âPenelopeâs dress got dirty. I was just helping her change.â
âIâll help her. Iâll fix Penelopeâs makeup while Iâm at it. Lucian, go downstairs and entertain the guests.â
Leah FlanaganâEaden said, blocking Lucianâs view of Allison.
Lucian didnât insist, and he turned around to leave.
As soon as he left, the smile on Leah FlanaganâEadenâs face faded. She slapped Allison hard across the face, âYou poor little bitch, donât forget your place. Youâre just Penelopeâs standâin!â She dared flirt with Lucian when she wasnât looking! Luckily, she caught it in time.
Allisonâs cheek stung, but she wasnât in a position to argue.
She sneered, âIf the madam is so unsure about me, why bother letting me impersonate Miss Penelope?â
âYou dare talk back!â Leah FlanaganâEaden glared at her. If it werenât for her face, which looked so much like Penelopeâs, how could she take such a risk?
âItâs about time. Iâll take care of the rest. You change and leave through the back door of the hotel. Iâve arranged for someone to take you home.â Leah FlanaganâEaden, holding back her anger, threw Allisonâs original clothes at her.
Allison didnât resist. Lucianâs reaction just now was obviously off. She wasnât sure if he had figured something out.
She turned her back to Leah FlanaganâEaden and changed into her own clothes. Meanwhile, Leah FlanaganâEaden was staring at her back and was deep in thought.
When the wedding was about to end, Allison quietly got into a car to leave the hotel.
Her mission was completed. After tonight, she would have nothing to do with Lucian.
At that moment, Leah FlanaganâEaden and Christopher were rushing to the hospital.
Leah FlanaganâEaden looked at her daughter, who was still unconscious in the hospital bed, stomping her feet in anger. Her useless daughter had caused such a mess at such a crucial time. The engagement party was over, but she still hadnât woken up!
Christopher asked the doctor, âDoctor, when will my daughter wake up?â
âYour daughter is allergic to alcohol. She should wake up by tomorrow. Youâll have to convince her not to be so reckless in the future.â
It would be good if she could wake up tomorrow.
Leah FlanaganâEaden breathed a sigh of relief and immediately took out some money to tip the doctor.
This matter must be kept secret.
Absolutely no one else can know.
Especially not Allison!
Leah FlanaganâEaden thought about the scene from the evening and immediately picked up her phone to call Margo, âHow are the arrangements I asked you to make going?â
âMadam, everything is going according to your instructions.â
âThatâs good. Do it neatly and make her shut up! Or else her sick old mother wonât get off easy!â
âYes, you can rest assured!â
In the dilapidated little clinic, Margo hung up the phone and turned to Allison, who was tied to the bed, âBitch, did you hear all that? Are you going to let us do it the easy way, or are you going to resist?â
Allison never expected that Leah FlanaganâEaden would be so cunning.
Just because she saw her back and remembered the scar left by a burn on Penelopeâs back not long ago, she wanted to leave the same scar on her body!
