Chapter 149
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
âWhere are you off to?â Penelope asked, setting aside a pile of clothes. She picked up her water glass and took a sip. âOh, itâs already coldâ
âWait a moment, Ms. Flanagan Allison said. âIâll get you some hot water.â
Off she went with a tray, only to return a few minutes later with three cups of hot water at different temperatures.
Penelope picked up one of the cups and dumped it onto the carpet. âClean that upâ She commanded.
Allison raised an eyebrow. âSorry, miss, Iâm a bit tied up. How about we get Margo to clean up your mess?â
âAllison, when I tell you to clean up, you clean up! How dare you talk back to me!â
âTalk back? Me? But Mrs. Flanagan just gave me some duties to attend to. So, should I listen to you, or should I listen to Mrs. Flanagan?â
Upon hearing this, Penelope was so mad that she turned beet red.
With that, Allison turned on her heel and walked out the door, running right into Margo. âAllison, what are you doing? Hurry up and change!â Margo demanded.
âCool your jets, Margoâ Allison replied coolly. âMiss got a little situation that needs your attention.â
Margo hurried over âMiss, I need to speak to Allison. If you need anything, ask Linda.â
Penelope waved her off impatiently âFine, whateverâ
While holding her stomach, she was comforted by Nathalie, who was standing next to her and said, âRelax, Penelope. Donât waste your energy getting mad at her. Think about the baby.â
Penelope gave a small smile. âOh, you donât know the half of it about Allison. Although sheâs just a raid in my house, sheâs got a temper and loves to party. Sheâs been with many men from middle school to high school, and she even had an abortion.â
âWow, is that so? Sheâs really that reckless?â
âWhatâs the point of keeping such a maid at home? Disgustingâ
âMy mother is too softâhearted. She kept Allison here because of her many years of service. Oh, and when Allisonâs mother was sick, it was my parents who paid for her hospital bills.â
âPenelope, youâre truly too kind.â
Allison changed into a simple outfit when she got home, but Margo was not pleased. âWhy are you dressed so plainly? Change into this.â
She handed Allison a pink dress.
At 4 pm, Margo arranged for Allison to meet Randal at the cinema.
âAllison, my nephew is quite a catch. You should be grateful if he takes a liking to you. The lady of the house is trying to set you two up. You canât just up and leave. Remember to get along with him tonight!â
Randal had tidied up his hair today and it was slick with wax. His face was also shiny and smooth. He gave Allison a lewd look, âAllison, we didnât get to chat properly last time. Today is our chance. Iâve got movie tickets, and afterwardâ¦we canâ¦â
He figured this woman would be his sooner or later.
Margo gave Randalâs hand a light pat, âIâll leave you two alone nowâ She gave Allison a look. âAllison, remember what I just told youâ
âI understand.â Allison replied blankly, then she was the first to enter the movie theatre.
Randal had booked a VIP screening room, which was practically empty.
He stared at Allisonâs profile. She was the most beautiful and attractive woman he had ever seen. Even without makeup, she was still stunning.
