Chapter 183

Pete was about to leave with Allison, who barely had any makeup on, she looked so innocent. She resembled Penelope, which was why he mistook her for Penelope earlier. But Allison’s features were much softer than Penelope’s, which made her even more attractive. If Penelope wasn’t his girlfriend, he might have liked Allison more.

Suddenly, a voice came over, “Allison, you’re here too?”

Allison looked up to see Jason walking towards them.

Pete was a bit surprised When Jason approached, he glanced at Pete, “Do you know Allison?”

Pete was somewhat tongue–tied, unsure of how to explain it, “Me and Allison, we.”

Allison spoke softly, “I came here to deliver something to Ms. Flanagan. I Just finished and was about to leave. The Lindberg mansion is so huge that I bumped into Pete, and he offered to walk me out.”

Pete nodded vigorously. “Yeah, that’s it.”

Jason told Pete. Go ahead, I’ll chat with Allison.”

Pele hesitated. He was supposed to walk Allison aut, but now Jason had shown up; what should he do?

But Jason was his friend and couldn’t refuse, so he had to leave. As he was leaving, he glanced at Allison, but she completely ignored him.

Jason looked at Allison with a hint of delight, “Allison, could you do me a favor tonight?”

“What favor?”

“Should be a piece of cake for you” Jason said seriously, “Allison, there’s a family dinner at the Lindbergs‘ tonight. Could you accompany me?”

Allison’s eyes widened in surprise, “Are you for real? Pretend to be your girlfriend?”

Jason nodded Allison chuckled, “How can you possibly be single? I know you have at least a few girlfriends.”

“Allison, are you jealous?” Jason was actually pleased with this, “I’ve broken up with them He had been pursuing Allison for a while, but every time, Allison avoided him.

Allison thought Jason was joking, but seeing his serious expression, she asked, “Are you serious?*

“Absolutely!”

Jason thought momentarily. “Allison, are you worried about your boyfriend? Just come to my house for a meal, your boyfriend isn’t here. I’ll just say that you are my classmate, and we bumped into each other.”

Allison bit her lip and said softly, “I broke up with Dr. Dylan.”

A light seemed to shimmer in Jason’s eyes; they broke up?

This was great! He still had a chance.

“Allison, just do me this favor, we’re classmates; we should help each other out, right?”

Allison gave him a sidelong glance, she didn’t think she needed to help him out.

“If you need a dinner companion, just make a call and plenty of girls would be willing to come. I have some stuff to deal with, so I’m leaving now.”

“Allison, don’t go!” Jason blocked Allison’s way again.

Allison looked a bit helpless, “Jason….”

“Jason was just here, where did he go?” Cora looked around the living room. Aidan, Kamilla, Penelope, and Lucian were all there; only Jason was missing.

“Lucian, give Jason a call and see where he is. Dinner is about to start”

Lucian stood up and said, “He’s in the garden. I’ll go get him.”

As Lucian walked into the garden, he saw Jason talking with a girl from afar. As he got closer, he realized the girl looked familiar,
