After they’d packed their first aid kits, the girl introduced herself, “I’m Aurora.”

Allison replied, “I’m going to check out the forest.”

They walked a bit. The place wasn’t too shabby, though overgrown with weeds. Despite some human intervention, most of it still had a raw, untouched vibe. The air was fresh, with a hint of damp soil. It was a new ball game for city slickers used to the hustle and bustle.

Allison checked the map and decided to head east.
