Allison’s hands clenched into fists. She would make both Leah and Penelope pay for this!

In the past few days, Grace had been staying with Allison at Blue Mountain Estate Allison’s work schedule was all over the place. Sometimes she worked nights and slept during the day. Other times, she got off early and helped out with the day’s chores.

By the time Grace woke up, Allison was already out for work.

In the kitchen, Allison had left breakfast ready for her mom, along with a small note of reminders.

Grace chuckled. Her daughter was just the best, so considerate. A sudden wave of disappointment washed over her. A shame that Allison wasn’t her biological daughter!

After breakfast, Grace headed downstairs.

Having stayed in the hospital for long, she wasn’t familiar with the neighborhood. She spent the morning strolling around aimlessly, checking out the unfamiliar streets on the map.

After a subway ride, she found herself downtown.

There was a crowd gathering outside a coffee shop. People were holding up their phones, trying to capture something exciting. Intrigued, Grace decided to check it out.

“I heard Leila’s filming here today!”

“Not just Leila, Gunner is here too! I’m so excited”

“Hey, who’s that? A newbie?”

“She’s kinda pretty!”

“Don’t you guys know? That’s Penelope, Mr. Lindberg’s fiancee!”

“Oh, her. What s she doing here? Is she breaking into showbiz?”

“Seems like it. She’s debuting with Gunner and Leila Talk about being well–connected.”

Grace initially thought it was some sort of sale, seeing the crowd.

-It was only when she got closer, did she realize they were filming a TV show. She was about to walk away, uninterested, when she heard the name “Penelope‘. She stopped and tried to squeeze through the crowd.

“Hey lady, are you a fan too?”

Grace chuckled, “I’m just here to see what’s up”

She tried to get a good look inside through the window, and finally saw Penelope. But someone blocked the view and she couldn’t see clearly.

The indoor scene took more than two hours to film.

The crew started to clear the crowd, but there were so many fans and onlookers. They ended up setting up a barrier.

The director shouted, “Alright, everyone ready, action!”

Gunner walked out. Next, Penelope rushed out of the coffee shop, face pale, pleading. “Let me explain, it’s not what you think.”

“Enough, I don’t want to hear your explanations: Gunner said.

At this point, Leila walked out of the coffee shop, and the three began a standoff.

Gunner’s assistant drove up to pick him up. As he got in the car, Penelope tried to chase after him, but slipped and fell.

“Ah!” Penelope yelled.

Leila, standing next to her, quickly helped her up, noticing her pregnant belly.

Penelope was uninjured, but she had twisted her ankle. Crew members rushed over, “You okay?”

“Ms. Flanagan, are you alright?”

The assistant director was sweating bullets. If Penelope was injured, explaining it to Epic Entertainment would be a nightmare.
